Zulily was my go-to place to shop. I was on it numerous times a day. I bought so much on there. Kids clothes, my clothes, shoes, house stuff, quirky stuff, my collection of Ragon House santas, Christmas stuff, outdoor stuff, kitchen stuff, rugs, bedding, makeup, anything and everything. The prices were great. I could scroll thru there and just find things to buy. It was great for ideas. It was my favorite shopping place.Never had any issues with anything. Returns were easy. I will miss it a lot.
Product quality varies widely. Some things ok, many cheap Chinese-made, fast fashion items that may not tolerate a single laundering. I won't do business with a company that requires I provide personal info or "sign up" to make a purchase. Tired of the coercion to get my info. There should be no barrier to shoppers buying as a "guest" or being able to chat with customer service. There is absolutely NO reason they need my email address or anything else for me to be granted the "privilege" of spending my money on their goods. If people would stop forking over their personal info, businesses would stop demanding it. Tired of businesses being hacked and my info being handed out to everyone. Best defense is to not hand out your info. This is no different than going to the grocery and having the cashier demand your birthdate and social security number just to checkout.all the while knowing you are exposing yourself to significant risk doing so.It should be illegal to demand this info.
When Zulily started, it offered good products from reputable brands. Not anymore. Clothes, for instance, are made of cheap materials, with poor craftsmanship. Some clothes actually fall apart before they are even washed. In summary, Zulily's "good" prices are way too expensive for what you get.
Tip for consumers:
Just don't buy there.

Orders shipped separately, over 2 weeks for delivery and since the dress i ordered
Didn't fit could not get a refund only store credit minus restocking fee. It was not worth my time or effort to return items so I will donate the dress and never, ever use this site again.
Of course you may already know Zulily Said my Android phone "Auto Ordered" some food products! Lol I am still waiting for the $74.12 mistake to be corrected! This company doesn't give refunds they don't tell you that. Once you order something your stuck with it.If I buy something and return it I want my money back! I am never ordering from them again!
Spent $170 dollars on a purse to have it arrive with one strap GLUED on! Very disappointed and had to go process of return only allowed store credit for definitely known about faulty merchandise. Told everyone going to social media and will never use Zulily again after credit is spent! I was a faithful customer up until that purchase!
Unfortunately, I like Zulily a little too much--can't wait for 9:00 a.m. to see what's new (whether I need it or not). I've gotten some really good deals on items that are normally not affordable for me. The only drawback is their descriptions of products--I wish it were more like QVC's.
I live in a large city, yet find many unique items at nice prices on Zulily. I do caution you to pay attention to description details, especially clothing sizes. Also, some brands are cheaply made & sellers sell under more than one brand name. Find a few you like & stick with them. My few experiences with Customer Service have been excellent. My biggest disappointment has been the site redesign. You used to be able to "favorite" an item from the preview pages, but no longer. There are other issues with the site also, but overall, Zulily is my go-to store for special gifts & definitely Christmas!
My Zulily is one of my addictions second to Amazon... one stop shop, now, I wish your delivery service was more quick & efficient... way too slow and customers have to pay an arm & two legs for faster delivery service... otherwise, I would've given you guys five stars... the best dresses, clothing, makeup, fragrances, bedding, Rachel Ray cookware, all at affordable prices! When I get compliments on something I'm wearing from Zulily, I make sure I tell them where I got it, and the look on their faces Is so surprised... and I say, YES! Zulily!
Zulily has an amazing range of products available to order. They offer good discounts on their merchandise, and ship items quickly while accepting returns without question. I go to Zulily every day - it's a whole shopping mall in a website!
My first few orders from Zulily were high quality and shipped within a reasonable time period (less than a month). Since then, every order has had a major problem -- the wrong item was shipped, deliveries were delayed for months, expensive merchandise was of poor quality (think Forever 21) or merchandise arrived damaged/broken. I have received store credit for some of the items, but no longer want to shop there and would like refunds on my most recent delivery.
Slow shipping as others have said. It can take a month and a half to get your items. Your infant can grow out of that size before her outfit arrives. If you order pregnancy clothes, you might not be pregnant by the time the clothes ship. - But they charge your card very promptly.
Shipping is expensive.
No returns, and when things do show up, I've found that they are often really cheap and ill fitting in person.
I seldom shop in brick and mortar stores anymore. The fashion is way ahead of department stores and with better pricing. Being able to return items that do not fit is a big plus. My coworkers always confirm my shoe choices, knowing all come from Zulily... my best friend for shopping!
I've been using Zulily for four years now and it has its ups and downs. For those who don't understand it, it's a "deal of day" site with lots of options so it's not a regular retailer who has multiples in stock. I don't buy too many clothing items there as there are no returns and they have been a hit or miss almost equally (in the end it evens out). Where Zulily really shines is on gear, toys and home items that are even cheaper than Amazon prices and sometimes a "real" steal. There are times that Amazon or even your local TJ Maxx will offer equivalent or better prices. I gotten great gifts such as clear umbrellas, Melissa and Doug toys, and even outdoor equipment at 30% off the cheapest internet finds. So in summary, it's a great site but know what you're getting into. It's amazing if you have the time but do some comparison shopping too.
After reading the reviews I was like omg I should have never ordered.#$*(! So Yesterday I finally received my package 3 weeks later, which is no big deal because it clearly states on the website the method of placing orders, wait time 2-4 weeks. I am completely in love with the lil cowboy boots I bought my lil girl, they don't fit her but they are adorable. I went directly to the manufacture and they are $30! I got them at Zulily's for $10. I love this website, I've already placed 3 orders today plus you are only charged shipping once a day! **When ordering for infants just order a bigger size!
I have enjoyed being able to purchase some fun clothes shoes, and other items. I have understood that some things take a bit longer than others. There are some things I don't understand... 1. Why is there no consistency in garment sizing? Shoes are reasonably sized-- garments are all over the place. 2. Why does shipping have so many inconsistencies? Yes, I know you order from the Orient & that takes time. Why not order an assortment and sell from US? 3. Shipping both ways is not consistent. 4. How could an order of Vitamins take weeks to deliver in ones and twos... thus running up your shipping costs. ***Noticed anything? The mantra here is INCONSISTENT. PLEASE GET ORGANIZED! Zulily is a great shopping experience-- until it isn't. Stop shooting yourselves in the foot~
I ordered child's size 2 sandals for a gift. I rec'd an infant's 2. NO RETURN policy means I "get" to keep them! Other items ordered don't fit... much smaller than normal. NO RETURNS! So I'm stuck with those too!
The order was placed July 13 and arrived Aug 11. I did not receive any notice of shipping date. I will cancel my subscription and never order from them again. Very disappointed customer.
I've order 3 or 4 different times n each time the shipping was fast one to two weeks maybe a little more but I mean it explains it on their website why I takes a while to get ur item! People wit negative comments about the shipping to need to do better research... like I've said I ordered 3-4 times all my items have always been good material looks exactly like the picture how this last order I ordered a size 7 in women's n they sent me an 8 I emailed them n since they don't do returns they are giving me BACK my money PLUS! $10 of store credit! N they are letting me keep the boots! They said I could donate them give em away or dispose of them how I saw was best! They will continue tiger orders from me awesome customer service!
My items were shipped efficiently. My problem is with quality. Snow pants have liner stitched outside pants in one spot and super thin ankle opening that cannot fit over the boots. The boots themselves are warm, but SO HEAVY that my daughter can barely lift her feet in them. Will not order again from this site-not worth the savings. Products seem like the rejects of brand names.
Wow! Am an experienced on-line shopper & was confident when placing my order that
I would receive what I purchased. Big Mistake. Three out of six items were not even close to the correct size. Have no idea why the Site actually displays a size chart, as it is pointless. Would have had a better chance of getting a decent fit by blindly sticking my hand in a grab bag. When I called to ask about returning... the same day my order was received, was told that I could not return. Explained how one Women's Top was closer to a childrens size... the Customer Service Person's response... We have no way of knowing if the sizes are correct, as we order from several different Vendors and we do not have a Warehouse of our own.
It's obvious that Zulily is just a middle man. BTW... took 18 days to receive.
Tip for consumers:

I'm shocked to see so many complaints against them. I adore Zulily! I check it once a day, I'm so addicted to it. Unlike a lot of these unhappy folks, I have been one of the lucky ones and always received my items that I ordered. Sure, it's not shipped instantly (practice a lil patience) & returns are nonexistent because they don't stock a warehouse like a typical store, which allows them to keep the prices low. Once, an item was behind schedule and they sent a nice email updating its status, but my package was still sent to me. Over the course of about ten orders from Zulily, they have always been great, nothing broken, sizing accurate to their provided charts, condensed shipments. No complaints here. And no, I'm not affiliated with them, just a happy customer. :)
Zulily offers products from a wide variety of brands and goods. Some better than others. Prices vary, usually comparable to Walmart or Amazon but shipping is charged. Choose carefully because if you return an item, the return shipping is more expensive than the original shipping charge and is deducted from your refund so you end up "paying "for your return. Ridiculous. Also, they used to allow free shipping for longer than midnight the next day after your purchase. Shipping can often take a while unless you want to pay more for expedited delivery. Occasionally, they offer monthly payments. If buying clothing, quality varies; photos can be deceiving and quality can be very poor and cheap looking depending on brand. Study size charts and read notes before submitting orders.

I'm thoroughly satisfied with my many, many purchases over the last 6 months. Returns are easy and simple. I've seen some amazing deals come and go, most of which I took advantage (Coats, shoes, boots, clothes, storage cubes, you name it!). I'm even more amazed when I see companies that are not your average neighborhood store, like the Charleston Shoe Co. I learned of them when I was in Charleston SC. Imagine my surprised and joy to see them on here! Zulily is absolutely a wonderful site!
Have had mixed results but recently their sizes in kids shoes are severely mia marked. 4 pairs of boots came and they were 1-2 inches shorter than the normal std size.
I sent a photo and they refused to help me unless I added a ruler to photo and resent.
All you moms out there can appreciate the challenge of finding a ruler and taking scientifically accurate photos with two little ones underfoot.
Forget it. The savings drain away when u end up throwing out half of what u receive and the other half comes too late to be useful.
Go to gilt instead.
This company, its customer service (dot make me laugh) & products are completely CR*P.
I wish I had seen the reviews before placing an order.
Waited nearly a month for anything to arrive. The sizes are all wrong, 12 months looked like newborn!
The quality/cut/material & stitching is extremely poor.
Looked nothing like the photos.
This company puts photos up of genuine stock, then has some factory in (China?) knock up cheap replicas.
I have never seen such shoddy items. HOW do they get away with it?!
All returned for a refund. From previous reviews I understand getting a refund is extremely difficult, in which case I shall contact my bank to claim the money.
AVOID. You can buy cheaper & better items on Ebay directly from China at a fraction of the price.
This company is very hit or miss on what they offer. As a plus-size woman, I like the prices, but so many of their tops are see-through and don't look that way in the photos. I've been ordering for several months from them and have donated at least half my items to the thrift store. Only order brands you recognize from them. I suspect a lot of their items are cheap Chinese goods.
Don't understand all the negative reviews and there are many. On the receipt it states "if something doesn't meet your expectations, please email or call." The email address and phone number are included. I do admit I'm extremely careful when purchasing clothing and tend not to purchase the more pricey items for fear of "off sizing." I have had the need to email customer service when an item did not fit while being the size I normally wear in that particular brand or if the wrong item had been shipped. Got immediate apologetic response and a refund to my card or a credit. Was told not to return item. I'm a frequent shopper on the site and this has occurred three or four times with a favorable response. Just don't understand all of that negativity!
