I love the idea of Zulily, but it's definitely a "buyer beware" site. Too often Asian imports are marketed as name brand/designer products. Sizing is misleading. Careful shopping required.

5 years ago when it had not been sold to QVC everything was better. Yes it took a long time to get the merchandise but if it was wrong they let you donate it and credited your card. Sometimes they would want the item back if it was expensive like my LED face light but I was credited for shipping. Sizing was and still is an issue as most items are made in China. Now except for Suzanne Betro ( which is smaller than my usual size) I rarely buy clothing from any other vender on the site. Shoes are also hit or miss and often run small.In 2020 the prices started climbing and my SUZANNE BETRO tunics went up 20% Now they are 25 %to 30% Higher as well as the slacks. I can only assume many other items are more expensive as well. They used to have weekend free shiping after your first order but they changed that policy. I gave up working with customer service after QVC bought them as the people are impossible. I simply donate items as the return fees are insane. If Amazon carried Suzanne Betro I doubt I would ever shop with Zulily again.In its heyday I did get great deals on name brands they do not carry anymore. Fantastic handbags that were the real deal. Cosmetics that were not fake. Cute kids toys. Those days are over. I looked at my orders last year and they were 1/3 from even 3 years ago.The quality control seems to be zero and they appear not to check the items they send out prior to shipping now in jammed paper bags instead of boxes like in the past. The quality from this place has been the best of any place around this price point. The first time I ordered I was nervous but I have NEVER received a single bad-quality item.
I don't think anybody should feel compelled to bring down their score just for not keeping the same rules as a lot of other huge retailers. You can't just throw your credit card out at everybody and assume that all of these strangers are going to financially care for you. Zulilly gets good deals because of deals they have with manufacturers which ships them stuff in bulk after customers order enough to ship the quantities out. That's a pretty awesome way of passing on savings for stuff like organic cotton and small-time boutiques from across the country that you wouldn't have found otherwise. Their rules are right in front of you the moment you sign up: no refunds! If that matters to you so much you shouldn't have placed an order.
Check the charts, make sure your screen is displaying the colors correctly, be realistic about how things are going to fit, and for god's sake, LOOK at the types of materials they use for their stuff and start learning what this stuff means. You'll know exactly what's coming in the mail if you'd stop drooling enough to do some research.
Zulilly is a wonderful place to go for almost anything baby and a lot of the times they have cute stuff for moms, too. If you're smart about what you're ordering and you can be patient waiting for stuff, this site will make your buying experience worthwhile every time.

I was a first (and last) time Zulily customer. Order takes a long time to ship and the quality of the clothing is horrible. Everything I ordered was see-through and to top it all off I ordered a cardigan that on the website photo had long sleeves, it actually has short sleeves.
VERY disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON ZULILY! TERRIBLE QUALITY! NOTHING LOOKES LIKE IT DOES IN THE PHOTOS!

I am not overly impressed with this site. To be quite fair, the one order I placed was in December so that may have impacted shipping times. It took approximately 2.5 weeks to ship (for "ready to ship" or whatever they call it; items were in stock) and then delivery/handling was another wait. My package arrived just a hair before Christmas, quite I relief considering I was thinking a present I had ordered would be late. The items were fine- one was a doll similar to a expensive name brand but typically half the price; it was $20 cheaper even on Zulily. The shirt wasn't amazing but it was low-priced and is lovely in appearance. From what I've gathered Zulily offers specials on closeout items along with a mix of Chinese merchandise. If you don't expect much, you will likely leave satisfied. The shipping timeframe is ridiculous though, and that I had to pay for it doesn't especially thrill me. I would only shop there if I found sonething amazing but it's rare; most of the time the best pieces sell in a flash and I only find them later... long after they've sold. I don't usually bother to browse because the majority appears to be low quality flotsam you'd see on ebay for 1.99 shipping in an epacket from China.

I have ordered a great deal of items, alot of money spent and, yes some clothing items were very poor quality.
I caulked it up to experience and never once reviewed them poorly.
However, when I was offered the 2 payment option and was told a later date for auto payment. Instead they tried to collect my 2nd payment 5 days early than what was agreed upon! Ultimately, they could not collect payment, and in turn sent my bill to COLLECTIONS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME FOR 82 DOLLARS!
Contacted them and they said I cant pay them but can order again?

First- this site has some really good deals, but you have to read the "rules". It takes awhile for them to fulfill orders as noted on their site because they purchase as a group order after the sale is over- they then receive the items and distribute them with the rest of your order. It would be like you buying from 5 different companies, receiving the items from each company and then remailing them out to a family member.
Most of my orders arrive in about one month. If it's not a GREAT deal- I don't buy from Zulily. I NEVER order shoes for my kids as there are no returns- unless I know the brand well and their size in that brand.
I recently had a defective snap on the cutest snowpants ever. I was a little nervous because they don't offer returns. However, I took a photo and emailed customer service. They responded VERY quickly and apologized, gave me a refund AND a $10 credit towards a future purchase. I was also able to keep the pants as they are not able to exchange (again- they order in a way that is similar to samples).
Customer service is A+, timing is slow, but if you can wait patiently there are some really good deals to be had. If it's not more than a 30% discount- don't bother. But-I have bought Keens at over 50% off, which is unheard of.

I spent $600 on the zulily site, thought I was getting a great deal on awesome clothes... WRONG... When the stuff arrived a MONTH AND 1/2 later, it was nothing like the pictures, the material was extreme cheap, it wasn't even the brand that the site advertised it was, it was some knock off brand instead. Most of the shirts that I had ordered in a medium or a large where so large that 3 people could fit in them. I order two skirts that showed on the pictures to be a nice silk like material, they ended up being a SEE THROUGH cotton material, I asked several people to look at them on the site and they all agreed that they looked nothing in real life like they did on the site. The only thing I bought that ended up being the name brand that the site advertised was a pair of sandals I bought. It was WASTED money. :( I will NEVER shop with them again and have told everyone I know what they did.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots. The shipping turn around does take some time, but it was clearly stated when I made my purchase. They even came a couple days earlier than originally expected. I'm sure some of the bad reviews are justified, but I had to share my expierence with the company as I did encounter an issue. Both pairs of boots were manufactured by the same company and I ordered a 5 1/2 for both. However, only one of the pairs fit, and the other which was labeled everywhere a 5 1/2; was a size and a half too big. A friend tried them on who is a size 7 and they fit perfect. I called customer service and they couldn't of done a better job to keep me a satisfied customer. They not only refunded my account with a store credit, they let me keep the boots to pass along to my girlfriend. A+++ for customer service! I've ordered on similar sites (i. E., Nomorerack) and their customer service department was terrible! I now know where to order items for the holidays if I am looking for a good deal. I received an email about items for sale and wanted to try it out. The items were cute for kids and the maxi dresses were priced right. Then I saw Gucci sunglasses and decided to buy them. Unfortunately, since this was my first time ever using the site, I was not aware of the actual shipping process which could take 10-17 days before the item EVER leaves their warehouse, & then of course the slowest method of delivery ever! So long story short, I was buying the maxi dresses for my vacation scheduled 3 weeks after my purchase and had to cancel those dresses since they wouldn't come in time for my trip. I decided to take my chances on the other items and wait. Some of the items came in 3 weeks. Though the glasses were a Valentines gift, I finally received a yesterday (March 2nd). I would say if you need to order things and its not time sensitive, you can shop here. But considering today's technology & sites like amazon offering next day delivery, it's not worth the wait for me. I will probably not use the site again unless the sipping process improves. Also, there is confusion as to what is being charged once items are cancelled. I couldn't figure out what I would be charged for. It also took forever for the charges to hot my account.

I love to shop on Zulily and do so almost daily to see wat the new sales of the day are and if I am interested in a further look at the offerings. I find unique products at good prices. They have particularly good deals on baby and children's clothing and shoes. For adult women; however, you have to be very careful of looking at the sizes/measurements. A lot of the clothing is from outside the United states and the sizes run smaller. Also helpful to look at the reviews which typically describe fit. Unfortunately, sometimes the size charts do not match the item you are looking at, i. E. you are looking at size 4x and the size chart only goes through 3x. I have always had good luck with items that did not come on time or came damaged. They typically refund purchase price and let you dispose of the damaged items. They often give $10 credits to spend on your next purchase if you are dissatisfied with the items. With clothing/shoes that do not fit, they do charge restock fee which reduces the amount of your refund. That is why it is important to check the size charts carefully.

Most if not all of the clothing is made in China and the sizes, cut and fit run very small! Some items were the size of a dish rag and I ordered a 3x! They do not accept returns.
