I've been ordering from Zulily for a few years... many, many orders of clothing for the grandkids... and toys as well. My daughter and I have been more than pleased with what we've received.
They sell items made by many different manufacturers and, therefore, have no control over quality or fit. Research the brand name, if you're not familiar with it.
Zulily takes orders before getting the merchandise from the manufacturer... once the necessary number of items are sold... they order them from the manufacturer. Then Zulily has to receive the merchandise before shipping it to customers. This is explained on their site. It takes time to receive your items! They're very upfront about that.
One of my orders, which was divided up into four separate packages at no additional cost, was not delivered around the Holidays. My mistake. I used my last name instead of my daughter's married name... with her address. Christmas Time at the Post Office! According to " tracking" on the Zulily site... they were returned as "undeliverable as addressed." Very small Massachusetts town... Post Office didn't recognize my last name with my daughter's address! Zulily had no record of the return... other than the shipper's tracking info. They did not know if packages came back to their warehouse... but... they credited my charge card and gave me a $10 voucher to be used on a subsequent order. Easy Peasy!

I ordered 4 items. The gloves are Ok but I'll have to fix them so they don't unravel. The one purse was Ok. For the price I paid. No way would I have walked into a retail store and picked it out though. It's good for everyday use. The pants were not even the brand or size I ordered. Cheap enough that I'm not going to waste time complaining or looking for a creidt. Doubt I'll order Again.
The last purse was a prize and the only thing that made it even worth the money spent on this experiment.
I've also googled many of their items and found them cheaper on other sites. That don't take a month to ship.
I see lots of clothing I'd like to order but with no way to return when they make the mistake I'll keep shopping at my regular online and dept stores.
They are honest about shipping times so I have to give them a 5 star as all of my items arrived a few days before the projected time. Shipping was reasonable.
Value and quality seem to be mixed. If not for the one purse I'd be pretty livid right now. The purse that was supposed to be a 130 dollar msrp and prob 70 or so in the store I might have paid 30 for if I liked it enough which in this case I would have passed. In this case cheap is going to cost me a new purse plus what I wasted on this one. The pants I'll get a tax donation and the gloves. Well I shouldn't have to fix things out of the box.

Be very careful. Even though they list size charts for every item they seem to be suggestions rather than accurate. Look for the brand online and see if you can find their offical sizing chart. If you can't and it doesn't fit you are stuck.

I have been a Zulily customer for years and years. Back when my daughter was wearing smaller sizes, the quality seemed better and I wasn't ordering for myself. Now that she is older (10y) I am finding that if I don't order brands I know, I am getting very poor quality items. Home items- I bought a decor item that was so misrepresented that wouldn't have sold in a dollar store. Yes the refunded me. Yes they've been great but who needs to go through that fuss all the time. And even with brand names I find I can get better deals and faster turnaround when I shop sales with coupons at major dept stores. Clothing for me - well let's say it's been pretty much a bust. I've gotten just couple of items I've been happy with. Their suggested retail on their own stuff (beware there are many brand names that are manufactured for Zulily only) is way off, as is sizing. After many years and way too many dollars I've quit Zulily cold turkey. I'd suggest the same for you. You can find the same or better deal elsewhere. Don't get sucked in by the clever, artful advertising.

I'm so sick of ordering on line and having to give my clothes to a child because they are so small I usually wear a 1x at mall type stores so I ordered a 3x and couldn't even get my arm in the sleeve also fabric was very cheap the styles are so cute it sucks me in every time but no more I'm done because the pictures are 2 completely different things and they are not even that cheap in cost I paid $24 for a shirt I can't wear Don't buy from this company the clothes are less quality than you find at a dollar store!

I ordered two items and when checking the website the order said that it had shipped. The problem was that it claimed to be shipped and on it's way for weeks. I chatted with customer service and was told that it was indeed on it's way and would arrive soon. Nothing. So I chatted again with customer service and was told that it was delivered. I said, no, it hadn't been. I asked where and who "delivered" the item. The rep came back and said that she refunded my money. Of course, that is not what I wanted - I wanted the item. She claimed that USPS delivered it and gave me the tracking number. Following that number, I checked USPS tracking. It says it has no information. The rep instantly refunded my money so I assume she knew something that I didn't. Bottom line is that after chatting with "customer service" I was not treated as the valuable customer that I am and pretty much was dismissed. At the end of the conversation she said, "the item is currently out of stock and you will get an email when it's back in stock. Very unsatisfactory and I will no longer do business with Zulily.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE! If you get items that don't fit, or just aren't what you thought they would be. TOO BAD! You can have a store credit, that eventually you will probably wind up spending on return labels and restocking fees. This is a TERRIBLE place. They have vendors that they can't even get you an answer as to when you might get your product. HORRIBLE BUSINESS! Scam artist extraordinaire! Bravo Zulily! You won't be getting anymore of my business and I will be telling EVERYONE I can NOT to shop with you!

MAKE SURE YOU USE PAYPAL! At least paypal will stand behind the AWFUL products you receive! The products MUST be SECOND QUALITY! And my guess it is left over merchandise from a different country. I made the MISTAKE of ordering a bra... in a d cup, don't know what universe it was from but the cup size was more like a A cup! And then they had the nerve to say it was an "intimate" apparel and they couldn't or should i say WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING. I reported them to paypal!

I purchased a pair of sandals from this company and they were too big, i have tried to contact Zuili many times again and again with no response. I was happy with a store credit as i could purchase a smaller size of the same sandal, but no response, this company is a SHAM, NO STARS.

It's been 2.5 months since I ordered a King size headboard from Zulily. They first sent me the entirely WRONG headboard and size (received a Queen). Shipped that one back after several weeks of back and forth (the headboards take up a TON OF ROOM IN A BOX!), was given store credit for the mishap and then was sent a new one a few days later. The new one arrives as the CORRECT headboard but the WRONG size (Queen, again!). Once more, I contacted the Service Team. I was then informed Queen was the only size they actually had, after misrepresenting this on their website, and asked if I wanted to keep it, or I could return it. Um, why would I keep something that I literally have no use for? They came to get it shortly after, with no notification that they were sending a courier to pick it up (thank god I'm at home all day, otherwise how would anyone know they were coming without notice?). So, I contacted Zulily yet again to ask where my refund was... apparently someone lost the memo and they indicated they'd locate me the correct size headboard (ahhhhhhh!)! After another week of crickets, they came back and re-informed me that they did not have a King size available (duh - I told you this and why don't you keep records of this!) and they'd give me a refund. Every week or so I have to reach out to them to ask where my email is at from the "Resolution Team" who is supposed to be reaching out to ME, but I always get the same answer... they'll be in contact with me shortly. Haven't heard a word of when I can expect my damn refund! It's $350 bucks they really probably don't even need, but I'd appreciate BACK!

Overall, I like Zulily and the huge selection of products, but it can be hit or miss with the quality and workmanship on some of the lesser known labels that they are affiliated with. However, if you are familiar with the labels and products that are carried on QVC and some of the higher end products you do receive a fairly good " bang for your buck" that you otherwise couldn't afford or wouldn't spend the money on. They are trying to showcase lesser known labels just like Amazon but the quality control is minimal or non existent. Many of the lines of clothing they carry are European/ Asian sized and is significantly smaller than the American size guide so always check the sizing charts. They're not as good as they could be but they are helpful. Giving you a store credit instead of a refund is kind of a way to guarantee that you'll return and shop, as well as, keep the money you've already spent and have you pay for the return of items you're not happy with, No loss of revenue and a "win-win" for Zulily.

I ordered 6 items from zulily.com for $191 and after 2 weeks followed up to see why I hadn't received them despite being charged for the items. The representative said they were waiting for my entire order to be available prior to shipping which would be 2 more weeks. I asked if they could send the items that were available and they said they don't do partial shipments. So, my card was charged on 5/17 and I still don't have the items on 6/15. They said they will ship this week and I should have them in 5-10 business days. Seriously?!? Not happy with their business model at all! Update: Finally received items and believe me, not worth the wait! The sizing is very inconsistent in addition, there was one item that did not even look like the picture (ordered a cute black and white dress, they sent a blue, white and red dress with the same name and item number!) According to their website, their return policy is: "If you're disappointed with your order, please contact our Customer Service team. We are never able to accept returns on intimate apparel, shapewear, swimsuits or rashguards, or any personalized items. Unfortunately we are also unable to facilitate exchanges." This is the WORST experience I have ever had ordering clothing from the Internet and won't be using the site again!

My first purchase with Zulily was in 2011. I was pleased in the beginning. I got a Kenneth Cole black wool blend long trench coat for $80 (regular price was $250-300). Its a beautiful coat! I got tons of compliments from both men and women. The company earned my trust. My next purchase, a pair of Nine West riding boots hurt my feet so bad that I couldn't stay in them longer than 30 min...$75 down the toilet. But I didn't give up on Zulily. I bought two Natori bras and a pair of Genetic denim all at great prices. I was rebuilding my wardrobe so I kept shopping on this site. But after about 6 months I noticed the quality of their clothes went down. The clothes were severely missized the quality was poor and I wasted 100's of dollars on clothes that I could not wear. I discontinued my membership and have not purchased any products since 2011. I shop mainly at HauteLook/Rack. Unless you are into fast fashion (cheap clothes that don't last past the first few washes) use caution when shopping Zulily.

If youre not in a big hurry to get something, then Zulily is the place to shop. They have multiple categories that change all the time so there is always something new to look at. The only thing I would not recommend buying from them is shoes and thats only if you have an odd size. They have some of the best shoe sales, even on comfort shoes that are usually pretty pricey. Just a hint: if there are multiple items that you want to purchase, buy one by itself first. You will pay under $6 to ship that item, then everything you buy for the rest of the day is free shipping. Also, I try to wait until Friday to buy because then I get free shipping all weekend. When you see that they dont take returns, dont let that deter you. I have only had a couple of issues where the item didnt fit like I thought it would (and I buy a ton of stuff from them). On those occasions, I messaged them or emailed them and explained what was wrong. They would have me take a picture for them, then I would get my money back and they would ask me to give the item that didnt fit me to someone who could use it. Please dont abuse this. Their customer service team is amazing. The fact that they would let me donate an item I cant use is so socially responsible and completely sweet. For the most part, it takes about 4 weeks or so to get products, but Im usually just buying artwork or stuff for the house. I also buy clothes during end of season clearances, so Ive never had to worry about my orders arriving in time. Zulily wants to keep their customers happy and thats why I will keep ordering from them. Theyre a pleasure to shop with!

My wife ordered Ray-Ban Polarized Aviator Sunglasses
From Zulily as a gift to me. Recently one of the lenses cracked. Obviously that is not the fault of Zulily. However, when I attempted to replace the cracked lens it was discovered that the glasses I purchased, while saying they are Ray Ban and coming in a Ray Ban Luxottica case, are not, in fact, genuine Ray Ban glasses so the custom replacement lens doesn't fit. In attempting to get the replacement lens corrected, I was required to provide the model number and size, which Luxottica stamps into the temple when the glasses are manufactured. There is nothing. Not only am I now out the substantial purchase price of these phony glasses, I am also out the cost of the replacement lens, and I am unable to replace the cracked lens at all as it is not the same size as a legitimate Ray Ban lens. Lodged my concern with Zulily, After more than a month of chasing it, and several replies of "we're looking into it," they finally decided that I am wrong and the glasses are real. They're not. Buy your "genuine" products from a reputable retailer, or at least save your money and get your fake ones from a flea market.

I'm surprised these guys haven't been hit with a BBB complaint yet. First, if you do even the most basic research, you will see that the exact same item is always the same or less on Amazon. On Zulily though, you get to pay for shipping and it takes about 2-3 weeks typically to get the item. I've also been disappointed in the quality of the brand name items; they had famous people's name on them, but I wouldn't have bought the items in a store if had seen them before purchase. After 2-3 purchases in a year, I'll be dropping them as a possible shopping site. It's almost obvious that when they do the comparisons, they compare against the larger or more expensive version of an item. For instance on the Packit Owl Lunchbox, they quoted the full size price for the mini-Owl lunchbox. They did this again on another children's bicycle. There were three versions and they quoted the most expensive version but were selling the cheapest version; that's not a coincidence. I'd save your money and buy anywhere else.

Do not order from this company. Customer service is not transparent and purposely leads you to spend more money on their website. I ordered a comforter set, but accidentally selected the wrong color. I emailed customer service within minutes asking to please switch to the color I wanted. I was given a bs reason why this wasn't possible because it's actually being shipped from a different vendor so it's out of their hands... then why is it on your website? If you aren't in contact with your vendors that's probably a big f***ing sign something's wrong. Was it completely impossible to reach out to the vendor to switch a f***ing color? The order wasn't processed for entire week. In the meantime I was told to place another order for the color I did want, await the return of the first order and then I could be given instructions for how to return. When I finally get the instructions, there is not only a return fee, I have to cover shipping and handling, and they only offer a store credit. F*** this company, f*** that bs, why the hell are you making it such a hassle to return something.

I have been a huge fan of Zulily for many years and have introduced quite a few people to this site as well due to the quantity of products available from them. However I am only going to rate them a 4. Although the quality and quantity of the majority of their items has improved over time, my real issues have to do with sizing. On several of my favorite brands including, but not limited to, Suzanne Betro, Amaryllis, and Simply Couture, the information listed on their sizing charts is so inaccurate that an XL blouse may fit like a Large and yet another blouse in XL from the same brand can fit like a 2X. There is NO continuity in sizing. And these are not the only brands where this is an issue. I have seen comments from other people regarding the sizing inaccuracy for different brands yet I have seen no improvement. However, overall Zulily's quality is decent and the prices are usually better than I would have to pay online elsewhere. If they could just work on their sizing and/or quality control to make the fit more reliable I would be a much happier buyer.
Pet Peeve: I get very frustrated when an item that is pictured for the different departments is not available to buy.

I was so excited to find something to purchase off this site, but was super disappointed when I had NO CONTROL over the shipping options. I didn't receive anything for a month and when I did get tracking information it was incorrect and stated it had been delivered when it had not.
For what you pay for on this site, it is not worth the stress to kknow there is a possibility it will never show up-AND NO REFUNDS!
