Pros: GREAT and unique selection of items, especially when it comes to clothes, toys/games, and home items. They have a great deal of name brands and ability to "favorite" those brands so you know when they return. Overall, some great deals on price as well... even if you have to pay shipping. (Tip, order on Friday and then you get free shipping on any addl purchases through Sunday evening). Most of the time, their customer service is great and easy to work with if there's a problem. If they still have a product in stock, they will send a replacement. If not, they will offer ability to return/refund... either back to method of payment or store credit and usually give you a bit extra store credit for the inconvenience. Cons: it's a daily deal site so items and prices are always changing. If there's an issue with an item, they may not be able to get you a replacement. And unfortunately, quality assurance and careful packaging are hit/miss. I've received some items well packed, others where fragile items are just thrown loose in box. I've also received incorrect sizes of items I've ordered. But most of the time they do alright. Shipping usually takes a really long time unless you're willing to pay extra. Some items on lesser known brands even ship internationally. (Someone wrote review on Chinese knockoffs... I bought/received an item from China and though I ended up returning it, it was well made... most clothes are made there anyway... I don't believe they're in any way counterfeit, etc.) In terms of brands and quality of items... try to stick to the better known ones or ones where you can look up reviews on Amazon. While they have some really great name brands, they also have some generic ones where quality is lacking. But overall, I've been very happy with the deals and items I've been able to get there and will continue being loyal customer.

First the shipment came from China (I guess) and I waited over a month for the products I ordered (3 items). The dresses were SEE-THROUGH! Literally! The shoes (although I ordered my usual size that I have always ordered from Amazon, Zappos and many other websites and in stores with NO problems) were two sizes too big (even though it was the size I ordered). So I was charged $8.95 for original shipping. Then $8.95 to return the shoes. Then, another $8.95 for the return of the see-through dresses because they were delivered over a month later.
So that is $26.85 just for shipping alone. And I have nothing but time that I had to take to ship back to show for it. Then I found out that (even though the dresses were see-through, and the shoes two sizes too big) that this ONLY constitutes a store credit. I explained that this needed to go back to my credit card. Personally, I will NEVER order anything from Zulily again. So a store credit is like throwing away $75+ dollars. A-Pree-elle (service supervisor) explained that they would put it back on my credit card (we shall see) minus one of the shipping charges, but I should know that SEE-THROUGH does not constitute a defect. Really? She further explained that "sleek fabric" on Zulily means transparent fabric. Gosh, I have never ordered from Zulily before and I guess I should have just somehow known that? Nonetheless, I don't know what else to say except that I hope they return to my card and that I only lost $17.90 in total costs for shipping. Will update if my card does not get reimbursed. Although I cannot give less than one star rating anyway! Will never, ever order from Zulily again. Seems a bit like a scam.

Well I ordered a couple jackets off zulily for an incredibly low price after seeing their ad on another site. It seemed too good to be true so immediately afterward I went around the web looking at reviews and was dismayed almost to tears to see the majority negative. People complaining of slow delivery, poor service, low quality products, wrong product delivered, clothing not true to size etc. I was really scared, but then again, I had spent so little money that I decided that I would just take what I get and avoid these 'too cheap to be true' sites from now on.
Boy was I in for a surprise. The site promised delivery before Christmas, but after reading reviews I expected to get my things way after or maybe never. Nope. My things were shipped by the 12th Dec and showed up today, 15th Dec, just about 2 and a half weeks after purchase. They were packaged very neatly and carefully in a sturdy box. So now I was like, 'ok delivery was on time, packaging was great but I guess the jackets will be really cheap and flimsy looking'. Wrong again. The jackets look even better than the photos. They look like they cost a ton more than what I paid. They're nicely lined, heavy and warm and fit great (I ordered one for me and one for my mom and ordered 1 size up for my mom and 2 sizes up for myself). Mine is even a little bit big but nothing that can't be adjusted. Needless to say I'm very pleased to have gotten such a great deal. When I say I paid next to nothing for these jackets I mean literally next to nothing. I guess, based on the majority of reviews, with zulily it's hit or miss. I'm glad to have scored a hit on my first experience. I will be using them again. Only taking off one star for no returns offered and no reviews on site.

I've been a loyal shopper with Zulily for several years. My experiences with them have continued to get worse. Over the past year I've received 8 shipments with issues ranging from damaged and destroyed product due to inadequate packaging, defective items, incorrect items that weren't what I ordered and items being missing from shipments.
The latest incident has caused me to vow to never purchase another product from them. I work for an online distributor so I know that finding a solution for your customer isn't instant but Zulily actually expects a customer to wait 10 business days for a simple update on what is happening with your order. This is unacceptable. I purchase two Personalize Wall Art Signs from them. I received shipping notice that both shipped via the same tracking number. When the shipment arrived there was only one item in the package. I emailed Zulily immediately sending them photos of the packing slip that showed only one item included, photos of the box to show that it was not possible for a 2nd item to have been inside and a photo of the shipping label on that box. The customer service rep emailed me back stating the package had been delivered to my address and to check with the UPS driver. Clearly they didn't bother reading my email or viewing my attached photos to see that one item was only received. After replying back to them again to explain the situation again they said they would send this to their Resolution Team who would contact me in 7-10 days. The following day I viewed tracking for the shipment again and it was updated to show that one package was returned to the sender because they used duplicate tracking numbers. It was clear that my 2nd package had been returned. I notified them again of this and they just responded to wait for the Resolution Team to contact me in 7-10 days. What could possibly take 7-10 days to determine a solution when tracking clearly shows what happened with the shipment. I'm now on day 8 and no one in customer service will provide me an update. Horrible customer service. No one should ever have to wait this long.
