While they offer some interesting items at slightly lower prices, the shipping cost usually cancels out any savings. The description of items is often incomplete, sketchy or just plain wrong. Most items take forever to ship, sometimes as much as a month. It also costs a fortune to return a purchase.

Yes, the website looks pretty and the prices 'seem' great, but beware!
I ordered six items and over a period of three weeks received a weekly email cancelling an item. Refunds were given, but that's not the point.
In the end I received three small items and it took over a month to get them. I'm in Australia, not a third-world country and have been successfully shopping online for many years.
This is my first and last experience with Zulily. There are many more players in the market who do it well and get it right first time.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid disappointment and go elsewhere.

I bought several clothing items and they are terrible quality. Although I do like the design I'm not sure how long they will hold up. And I even had to repair a rip in seam before I got to wear it. Poor, poor quality. Also, don't you think it's weird none of the clothes had labels or tags in the back? Not even a care tag. Not to mention the one month shipping wait from China. I won't be ordering anymore. I do have to say they were quick to respond to my shipping inquiry which is good.

Tip for consumers:
Buyer beware of buying clothes from this site. Not good quality.

I've placed several orders with Zulily for women's clothing. I had one sizing issue where using the size chart resulted in the dress being too large. Sent email just to bring it to their attention, suggesting they double check it for accuracy. Received an apology email stating they would put a credit on my account for the full amount and to gift the dress to someone it would fit. Credit received and used. Great customer service and happy with quality of all items purchased to date.

I just received my first order and just had to say how pleased I am. Everything I purchased was amazing quality and fit my daughter perfectly. The sizing charts are very accurate. I've been shopping for a very picky 21 year old college student. Finding stylish clothes that fit her small but curvy frame is difficult. All of the clothes I bought look great on her and we are both so pleased.

Tip for consumers:
If like me, you are used to getting items really fast then this store's shipping policy will take some getting used to. Everything I ordered was well worth the wait and the amazing prices more than made up for having to be a bit patient.

Do not let the 'bargains' they offer mislead you - the product you will receive is nothing like what they advertise. i ordered 3 sets of bright blue towels from their "daily deal' email. What i got were dirty-gray colored towels. Customer service (which is laughable - there is no 'customer service') after jerking me around for a month, told me they checked with the vendor and I did receive the correct towels. What? you're going to believe "the vendor" when the photo I sent you clearly shows gray towels? There is a reason the ratings on this company are so low - they are pathetic. Stay far away from them and spend your money on a company with decent reviews and a fair return policy. At least I got something from them - so many people spent money and never saw their orders. So - anyone have a dirty-gray colored bathroom? I have 3 sets of towels that i can't use.....

Ordered a winter coat, took over 3 weeks to arrive and reg shipping within country. When arrived there was no return invoice to send back for return? Size was way off! How can I return when there is no packing invoice with return address label? Material was not what I was expecting, quality poor. Website is false advertising with photos of clothing that looks nothing like what you get. Very disappointed! Do not order from this company!

As long as you read everything to know what to expect, this site is great. Since they offer many brands, sizes can vary. Shipping is also varied depending on if product is in stock. Some things have arrived within days, others in a couple of weeks. I had only one product to return and they simply replaced it and said donate the old one to charity!

Be a smart consumer and READ!

I ordered once with them and waited 3 weeks to finally have someone emailing me to tell me they won't be able to ship me as they could not get my item...?! Also found the same item (baby toys) much cheaper a week after on another website...

I am addicted to Zulily, there's new things every day! I even get the annual free shipping each year for $49 because I order so often! The quality is good, the selection is great and if there's ever a problem then customer service resolves it right away!

Having read some very negative reviews I was very nervous awaiting my first Zulily delivery. Yes it took a month but then I'm in Australia and was expecting a long wait. My first 2 orders arrived today and I must say I'm very impressed and pleased with my purchases. Everything fits - I'm plus size 18 and finding clothes in Australia has been depressing to say the least. I love the range of plus size clothing and will definitely be ordering again. There is always a size chart to consult so make sure you check.

1. It took one month to get my order
2. All the clothes and products are cheap and most made in China and then sold by a private seller to make a profit
3. If you want to buy items like Zulily, wait for a month, and pay a small fraction of the price, buy directly from China via a site such as www.yoybuy.com. It's a little complicated, but worth it
4. Really, the sales and discounts are completely made up - do a price comparison - just another lie

I was in the process of placing an order and checked these reviews. For some reason I questioned the price and shipping. After reading these reviews, I would not purchase from them. There can't be that many people with bad experiences if this were a trustworthy company.

I ordered 3 items. I have received 2 so far. The other is in transit to zulily and been that way for over 2 weeks. The sizing is all wrong. I ordered bigger still almost to small. The dress fell apart while she was wearing it the first time.its trash now. It's been over 30 days on the last item. It will be to cold to wear more than likely before I receive. Quality is poor. Service and delivery is slow. I will never order from them again. First time buyer last time shopper.

The fitted sheets did not stay on the bed... cheap elastic. Within the first week, the sheets started pilling with wear. Who wants to sleep on tiny irritating little pill balls! I wrote Zulily and was basically told S. O. L. I would never use them again

Not after the reviews I've read. May be pretty as a picture but the cheap Chinese quality people receive has made me lose interest. Better to go out and shop. Good thing I don't remember my password to my email so now I don't have to look.

I should have read all these reviews before I ordered anything from Zulily! Took close to five weeks to receive my three items that were individually packaged and sent separately within a one week period (not very environmentally conscious). Also, I was disappointed in the quality of the material, very cheaply made. I honestly would be embarrassed to wear one of the cardigans I purchased to work, it's that bad! I will be cancelling my account with the site.

Awful! I have been duped and it sounds like I am not the first. What is the benefit of working with a company like this (I ask myself)? No service and the value means nothing when you wait 6 weeks for an item to arrive. Never again!

I have been ordering from Zulily for a few years and it is my " go to place". People comment on things in my house or my apparel, asking where I got them. My answer, Zulily! I order brand names in apparel and have had no problem. I have found some items are of lower quality but you have to pay attention. House hold items are great. Kitchen ware, Eddie Bauer sheets are the best I have ever seen at a wonderful price. Be an informed shopper and you will do great. I love this site.

My daughter ordered from them and received in a couple weeks, I order and it takes over 6 weeks to receive. So I tried again, taking just as long. They have to order from their supplier (which could be overseas) first, why they can't get their supplier to mail directly to ship quicker is beyond me. But baby supplies were a good deal, glad the baby isn't born yet.

research prices first, shipping takes forever.

I found six pair of shoes I really loved but none of them were in my size. This is rather a pointless site, after reading the reviews I think I'm better off not to do business with this company and I cannot imagine why they are still in business. Their website does not seem to work either. I will be surprised if I can even post of this review.

I have had a few really good transactions with great results. Made in America, great quality. This time not so good. FIVE weeks between order and delivery. Products were basically good, but two were not acceptable. Both made in China. That's not the norm on previous orders. I didn't know that returns are a store credit unless items were defective. Waiting to hear from company on how to return.

I have ordered quite a few things for Christmas through Zulily this year and have been very pleased with the quality and prices. The only problem I've had is the shipping times. It does take a long time for some items to ship so you can't order anything if you need it soon. Some things have arrived in a week or less, some I'm still waiting for and its 12/21/15. As far as quality, the items are all very well made and true to size. Unlike some other sites I have dealt with this year, you can easily check what your item status and location is at any time. They cancelled 2 of my items because they felt they didn't stand up to their quality standards once they arrived at Zulily and gave me store credit in addition to refunding the cost to make it up to me. So order early and know that when the items arrive they will be worth the wait

They are one of the worst online sites to order from I would never advise anyone to order from them. Your order takes anywhere from a month and up to be received. I ordered boots that came and don't look like they did online.It's not even worth returning and going through the whole month's process. China can get your order to you faster than them. They give you one time to return certain things that you still have to pay the shipping & handling for it to be returned. They don't care about there customers being happy. So hopefully this review encourages people to save their money and spend it elsewhere.

Their website and merchandise look very nice, but like a lot of reviewers, I'm frustrated. I ordered four summer dresses on August 6 and they still have not arrived. It's almost Fall! Further, they have no return policy and the reviews I'm reading say the quality of the clothing is poor. Now I'm expecting shabby dresses that don't fit and I'm stuck with them. I won't order from Zulily again and cannot recommend them.
