This is the first time I've written a negative review, so I'm not generally a complainer. However, this site, in my opinion, has several insidious features that sucked me in. I don't feel like going into the minor things (hard to avoid getting on daily email list for one), but the big one appears to be how long it's likely to get an order (if ever). I went through the purchase process without getting any info on shipping, and foolishly assumed that since Christmas is coming they'd make every effort to get it to me by then. It was not until after the purchase that I got an email explaining how zulily "works". I ordered something on 12/18 with no indication of it not being in stock; now I find that estimated shipping date is Jan 5, which means it might arrive by the 10th. Whatever savings you may get are NOT worth it.

I buy from this site ALOT! We have a large family and the quality and savings are great! It's a bummer you can't return things if they don't fit, but their customer service is FABULOUS!
Make sure you look at size charts, as many of the sizes run small for adults.
You never know when you order when you will receive your items, so plan accordingly. They are doing a much better job trying to keep you informed of delivery date.
Overall I recommend this site without any reserve.

Ordered for the first time, using the size charts provided.! St blouse came and the top part was too big. Called to return. Was informed that I would receive HALF the original cost upon return, as there is a 50% re-stocking fee. I returned it. 8 days later tracking number on label showed no info. I emailed asking when to expect refund on my card. No reply. Today, nearly 2 weeks later, I called. A CREDIT had been issued for the 50% value; this company does NOT refund your payment. I spoke to a supervisor who said nothing could be done. I ordered a 2nd blouse with the 1st which I received; does not fit well; but no use returning as I can get nothing back for it. Absolutely the most terrible "refund" policy I have experienced and very non-responsive to the customer. I honestly don't know how they are in business, except that many people like myself must order once and then never again! I could not work for such an unfriendly to the customer company. Really TERRIBLE.

I've ordered a number of items from Zulily with absolutely no issues. The one time I needed to return an item I received a full store credit, though I did have to pay for shipping. Since then I have had absolutely no issues.
My only complaint is that it takes so long to get most items.

Asian sizing means nearly everything I ordered was smaller than the sizing chart on the website. A $45 denim jumper sized medium (chest size 35") actually measure just under 32" and crushed my fairly small breasts. A return was accepted with shipping and restocking fee deducted from my "store credit." So I have to order from them again? A flared white tank top is somtranslucent and thin, I'll probably end up donating it. A 3/4 peasant top fits and isn't see through but I had to remove buttons and sleeve tabs because they were so shoddily sewn on in white thread on a dark garment. The bottom hem looks like it was sewn by an 8-year-old (which indeed it may have been). I wish I could have attached a photo of the crooked contrast stitching which I may rip out and redo in a color that actually matches the shirt. Most items are made in China and shipped from there. I will use my store credit but won't be shopping from them again.

Have shopped here almost exclusively for several years and am now done. There have been changes that do not reflect good business practices or putting customer service as a high priority. I've sent 2 things back recently and was recharged a restocking fee and postage. One item left me with a $2.00 "store credit". Until recently, if something wasn't was expected, you got a note saying "no need to return, donate it to a charity and we will give you a credit. This change is sending me back to the mall and to Amazon. If I could close my account this moment, I would.

I received my (Crap) 3 weeks after my credit card had been charged. Certainly not the norm. I have never seen such bad quality and one of the dresses was white with print here and there and it had grease stains all over the top. I'm talking black machine grease. This is the worst place in which you can ever place an order. I wouldn't even donate anything this horrible. Please beware!. Close to $100.00 just thrown away.

I must admit I was taken in by all the cute commercials and ads for this site. I eventually ordered a twin comforter for my 6 year old. We waited and waited and waited for weeks --nothing. Finally I get an email saying the order was cancelled. What a complete waste of my time--I wouldn't have been so upset if I had been told within a week or two. The price was just ok and after reading all these horrible reviews about shipping and customer service I am actually relieved. Please don't buy from this site--they do not value your business. Shop Amazon or Target or any other reputable website that actually understands customer service. It's not worth it --trust me!

Didn't realize that Zulilly does not have the products, so it takes forever for them to receive and ship items -about 5 weeks. I bought some shoes, one pair is awful fit, but there are no returns. I do a lot of on-line shopping and am used to prompt shipping and returns if needed. Will not use Zulilly again.

Stay away. I ordered a very big size, 3x, and the shirt that came fit my 110 lb runner friend perfectly. Another item that can separately was literally thrown in a small box with no tissue paper or plastic and so wrinkled. The cherry on top was that I didn't receive anything for at least 3 weeks. Feel like this is a scam to get rid of junk or mistakes. So upset.
Tip for consumers:
If you still want to try them just know it is a gamble because you can't return items.

I've bought several items from Zulily including 2 pairs of shoes. BOTH soles on one pair have come loose after just wearing once! I'm very disappointed in the quality of the item. There was also a noticible flaw in another item that I purchased. My Zulily days might be over.

I've bought quite a few things from Zulily, but won't anymore. Fabric is cheap, sizing is all over the map, colors in photos aren't correct. The capper was a bed comforter that was totally different than ordered. Then if you return anything you end up paying shipping both ways ($9 twice) to end up with nothing. I'd say I've been satisfied about 20% of the time. Never again.

Receiving my outfit for my daughter weeks after ordering it, she is unable to wear it because the pants are made for kids without knees, apparently... The butt part of the pant goes all the way past her chest and the leg portion is only about 3inches long and doesn't even reach her knee... I don't understand how "pants" fit as booty shorts! Plus there is no cost confirmation on shipping when you go to check out!

Reading from the reviews, it seems many people have had terrible experiences, however, this is about how my experience went. For me, it went fine. I had no issues checking out, even got a little discount, item arrived intact, just as pictured, and in a fairly good amount of time.
I myself bought a Contigo water bottle, it was a final sale, so those can go terrible. This didn't go bad at all, came quickly, wasn't damaged, and was just as in the ad.
Quite happy with my purchase, but seeing what other say, will probably be my last one, sadly.

I often find things I love (like) on Zulily. However, I sometimes find them cheaper on a two day delivery site. I rarely buy breakables because they have arrived broken and I was reimbursed early on, then not at all, then reimbursed again. The policy seems to keep changing. If you want to keep customers happy then consistency is key. This includes other types of businesses too. Take McDonald's for instance. Customers keep coming back because they know that they can get what they ordered and prepared the same way as the last time they were there. Women's plus sizes should be separate from young women's plus sizes. Our bodies are shaped differently as we age. When I buy some plus sizes, they do not adhere to the size chart many times. I do like the 2 or 3 pay plans.

Zulily must by misfits most if not all the sizes are inaccurate. It's not wonder they have a no refund policy. ZULILY was fun at first but now not so much. Everything I have ordered lately is a problem. Either the item doesn't fit or an inaccurate description or the reviews don't match the item. Terrible!

Some merchandise are steals but a lot are not worth the price. Materials are cheap and some even defective. But Zulily will reimburse you, just send a picture of the damaged item. Unfortunately, it might be an item you really like and can't wait to wear or use. Such is the downfall of buying on line.

I really liked Zulily a few years back but the past year or so not as impressed. Items are only discussed by $10 or less it seems, which you make up for in shipping charge. I have been finding the same items online with other vendors either cheaper or same price as Zulilly. Also quality has really gone down hill as well on the products. Your customer service however I'd give five stars!

My boxes are delivered disheveled-with pictures attached. Color images are not accurate especially lipsticks, blushes and eye shadows. Size chart is way off. Better to use separate sizes, than combining them- eg. 4-6-8 vs. 4-6,8-10,10-12-- too much size variation. Some jewelry products break easily- eg. Pierced earrings hinges? The return no more than (5) items icon, does not allow you to input more than (3)- should be fixed. I call you directly for returns now. Shipping is too long. Seems you are waiting to accumulate most of my items and then sending.

Now guys my second parcel came... same old story. Clothes made in china some of them ill fitting. Small sizes eg age 12 would probably fit an 8 year old. Overall disappointment in this site. Clothes look better in the photos if im honest... which i am... dont bother with this site. Only reason i ordered was the outlet sale, otherwise keep your hard earned cash. You have been advised by an honest person here. Avoid this site... otherwise youll be having less money in your purse

Zulily brings together a really eclectic collection of clothing on sale for great prices. It's hard to find a selection like this that's as easy to access. I also love how seamless it is to move from device to device with my choices. However, some of the products are cheaply made and there's no way to tell from a photo, especially for items that don't give full 360 views or close-ups. Returns are a joke; it's rarely worth it and I usually end up donating things that don't fit right or aren't what I expected. Shipping prices are high enough to offset the "sale" prices that look great when I click to buy an item, but often double when I add shipping. Between shipping and return costs, I think about buying from Zulily more than I end up doing it, sadly.

Customer service is great for any damaged in shipping merchandise. Easy to shop online. There is an $8 restock fee should you send something back. My grandson is outfitted by Zulily. Some things take a very log time to arrive.

I discovered Zulily by chance about six years ago and have come to rely on them not only for clothes, household items, and gifts that I love, but for many of my daughter's clothes and toys. Once I got used to the wait of receiving an item after a week, or longer in some instances, I am usually very pleased with my purchases. They offer off-the-beaten path items at competitive prices, as well as many high-end labels at extremely reasonable prices. Their customer service is Alway Helpful - imagine that!

So disappointed... ordered some really cute outfits with matching boots for my daughters 5th birthday. Placed the order two weeks before her birthday so that i would be sure to get them in time for her party. Just contacted customer service because they arent even due to ship for another 10 days and i wont receive them until 6 days after they ship... beyond disappointed... first and last time using this site... hopefully the clothes are at least cute and i can use them as christmas gifts... should have read the reviews... dont buy from here unless you dont care how long it takes to get your order

I just checked out their site and seems as bogus as Sammy Dress, which they try to rip off customers any chance they get. I'm sticking with companies that are in the US. these Japanese or Chinese companies should have to pay some sort of penalties for scamming customers
