2006 Dodge 2500 Ram. My truck has the now famous "Death Wobble" as seen all over google. These fools tried to sell me a set of tires to cure it. My tires are 1 week old with 300 miles on them but they tried to tell me my problem was the brand new $1000 set of goodyears on it. DON"T TRUST THEM. They may be certified mechanics but someone is bottom of the class and they work here.
These people are the biggest thieves I've ever done business with in my life. I ordered a center cap for my wheels and these jokers sent me what looked like a bottle cap and had the audacity to charge me $38 for it! The REAL center cap sells for $24.95. They refused to return my money, sending me a bunch of stupid emails that made no sense in a clear effort to wear me out. Then, finally, after I disputed the charge from my credit card company, they sent me instructions to send the part back, at my expense. They lied several times. This is the worst company I've ever heard of in my life. They are blatant THIEVES.
Mechanic Scam Alert! Viking Auto Electric and Air used a tactic on me that cost me a lot of money. Said they need 6 diagnostic hours at least to thoroughly research the problem. $1000 later they said the think they found the problem. I drove off the lot and the car died again. They want more money to fix it. How absolutely absurd! No reply to my email. I demanded they fix it for the money I already paid. I am not the only one they pull this extensive diagnostic scam on. I filed complaints everywhere.
About a month ago, I had placed an order for a particular part from this company. Unfortuneaty, I didnt' get what I received. At first, it was the worng part sent to me. I had described what I wanted and informed them of theri error. After numerous times on their chat line and talking with over three people, the problem was still not resolved. Even though (eventually!) there was a solution. I still didn't get the part that I wanted. However, I was able to return the wrong part to them. But, i will be reluctant to order any parts on any website because of this appearant difficulty.
I don't know why this guy is getting such good reviews. He came and replaced one key for us about 3 months ago and said he will need to order a shell for our other key takes about 2 week. I called him after 3 weeks he said he had it and we made an appointment. He did not show up and no call to cancelled. Called his mobile and 1300 number and it took a couple of days for him to call back and make another appointment again he did not show up and no call. This happened 7 times were I had to finish work early to make the appointment. I have now booked my car in at the dealer which I then have to loose a days work, but I know it will be done. It strikes me that under his terms and conditions he has a right to charge a $50 fee if we cancel at short notice or are not available for the appointment. Maybe he should have the same conditions on himself.
I took my 97 Honda Accord V6 to Ken's for a timing belt replacement. Ken told me you have to also replace the water pump because it never fails to go out if you don't put it in with the timing belt. Well he didn't replace the water pump, he told me it was not in the kit from World Pac, and it was not necessary to go back into the timing belt to replace it. My usual mechanic says otherwise as does everything I can find online, and World Pac did have two kits that included the water pump, one from Continental (part no. P263LK1) and one from Bayco, (part no. WP2631K1A) so he just didn't bother to get the right kit, perhaps to save money on the water pump, and lied to me about it. Also my car had trim damage in front of the driver's door when I picked it up that I certainly would have seen getting into the car to drive it there and when I got out of the car there, it sticks out like a sore thumb, but he tells me it was like that when I brought it in, and I KNOW it was not! On close inspection there is black tape on it where someone tried to tape it back down, and I know I didn't do that, so he's lied to me twice, and now I have to pay someone else hundreds to replace the water pump Ken's shop should have for $746! Never going back there again, and not speaking to him again because he will just keep lying. I guess he doesn't think much of women.
Just finished changing out my shocks and added the cafe racer kit. Looks awesome and they delivered faster than I thought it would come. Thanks, will shop again for sure. Just need to carry even more product please!
I am a female who does her own mechanical work on her vehicle. I came across Jc Whitney. They had everything I needed and for at least 20 to 60 bucks cheaper then local auto part stores. All products were correct shipped on time. Very very happy.
I just had a bad experience with a dealer who said i needed a new battery. They even told me not to turn off my car, but i did. Turns out my car started up again and the wonderful service person at Advance checked it out for me and it was good. I cannot for the life of me understand why dealer's service techs want to mislead customers. Oh yeah, it's about money. Please, if you are told you need a battery at a dealer in Salisbury, NC, run to Advance to get it!

I have used this site only one time, but my experience was beyond great. I ordered seat brackets for my vehicle and payed more for shipping to get them sooner. However, when I received them one day later then I was supposed to (somewhat of a big deal as this is my only vehicle and my seats were already out), I contacted the support and they IMMEDIATELY refunded the amount that I had payed for faster shipping. They did so without any hassle and were very friendly about the whole thing. One of the best transactions I have ever experienced. I've got several Chinese pit bikes and quads, and I've been buying spare parts from MotopartsMax for 5-6 years. They have great prices on generic Chinese pit bike parts. You have to know what you're buying with many of the parts, but it's not rocket science. My most recent order arrived a few days ago. About $100 got me 3 stators, 3 CDIs, 2 replacement clutches, 3-4 fuel pumps, a set of brake pads, and half a dozen fuel petcocks. You can't beat it. When one of my bikes breaks down, I have a good stash of parts to get it running again.
Have a 1971 Ford F250, with a stroker motor. Sent the engine out to be rebuilt. Installed a 1970 Lincoln 460 bb. Needed a adaptor fitting to hook up the Autometer mechanical temperature gauge. Ordered it, and it came in a timely manner, and a fair price.

So I ordered a 350-360amp HO for my 2012 Ford Fusion. The wrong size came and wouldn't bolt up. I let him know and he had to do some digging but eventually he built the right size and housing for my application. It's now snug in my fusion and charging 2 XS 2500 huge batteries for my system. And it loves to charge them. I had my battery light on briefly like a week. Then the ECU was able to learn. I wasn't the happiest about the extra shipping charge, but he didn't make anything difficult and rebuilt a new alternator that fit perfect. So 5 stars for his legit business practices. For anyone else that has a tough time getting in contact with him. Patients, persistence and professionalism. I think he's just super busy. Many alternators and only him and another person running the business and only 24 hours in a day. But he will respond asap. Thanks for a great alternator.

I've placed a total of three orders beginning May 6. Prices have been good and service is excellent. In-stock items have been shipped quickly, and company sends updates on the progress of items whose shipment is delayed due to special order. This excellent experience helped reverse the negative opinion I'd developed from a recent experience with another online retailer. I'm continuing to buy from this company and other vendors in their network because of these consistent positive experiences. I've also recommended this site to couple of my buddies too, and they are also very satisfied.
I hesitated to purchase from here due to the many bad reviews, but I didn't need anything significant, so I pulled the trigger. The prices were too good to pass on. Glad to report I got exactly what I ordered and promptly. I placed my order Monday morning, and the site said it would be here Wednesday (two days later), which worked for me as I was out of town. To my surprise, it was delivered the very next morning. I just got home, and everything ordered was well packaged and correct. I just put the parts in my car, and everything fits as described. My first Rock Auto purchase was a success, so I will be getting my parts from here in the foreseeable future. If you're considering RA but are thrown off by the bad reviews, I suggest experiencing it yourself and forming your own opinion. I did, and I'm glad I did. I no longer have to overpay for car parts.

Ordered parts; within a week, signed waiver for strip only (race vehicle) -registered Off-road vehicle. Then five days later the correct parts & boxes were on my porch. I was called & e-mailed anything needed, and the parts were received before the initial estimated date. Four others (large, reputable and very well known) big companies had canceled my orders with refunds larger than what i paid. Reason was due to state laws if street registered, which I explained was a race'track' only (no headlamps). Unfortunately, I ordered with FOUR other companies (because name, reputation, size) even though the amount ranged from $175 to $425 higher. Five stars due to dependability, speedy, and (#1 customer service issue) price!
Cheapest parts, reliable inventory, sometimes a bit busy. 37 year customer of aftermarket body panels, radiators and lights. -Eagle, Nordan, Certifit. I have no issue with a little bent edge or bolt hole off by a hair. I appreciate the savings and so do my customers.
