My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas. Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't be used on those purchases. If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to use it on anything on the site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels like kind of a scam. Shein reached out and rectified my issue and they were super quick, too! I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Super impressed!

Terrible customer service. If you don't find a robot answer, the message box won't allow you to describe the problem sufficiently. The answer you may get is meaningless. Customer service is unable to solve a problem; e.g. if SHEIN has doubled your order and you refuse to accept the duplicate order. Terribly time consuming - never again!

I ordered home decorating items from Shein worth £360, but my experience has been absolutely terrible. The order arrived in a single box, which was suspiciously sealed with two different types of tape. Upon opening, I discovered that items worth around £25 were missing. I contacted Sheins customer service multiple times, but all I got was an unhelpful response claiming they "can't help me." To make matters worse, they completely stopped replying to my messages.
This level of service is unacceptable for a company handling such high-value orders. I feel ignored and cheated. I will never shop with Shane again and would strongly advise others to think twice before placing an order with them. Terrible service and zero accountability!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience on Shein service. I requested a refund for my recent purchase, but despite multiple follow-ups, my issue remains unresolved. It's been from october 14 th, and I still haven't received any communication or refund. Shein's associate courier service IMILE confirmed that they delivered the return item on the same day. And shein is not accepting that they received the courier. This courier servise also Shein's associate.
The customer service team has been unhelpful, providing vague responses and not addressing my concern properly. I provided all required documentation and followed their process, but the lack of response is frustrating and unprofessional.

HORRIBLE customer service and liars. I ordered something and changed my mind within am hour or two. According to their website, orders can be canceled if they have not shipped. I had just placed the order and nothing had happened with it yet but they told me that they could not cancel the order. They told me several times and the responses seemed to be automatic replies that haven't even really read my message. I will never order from SHEIN again and I will be happy to share my experience with othersto save other people from experiencing the grief that I'm going through now.

Their site says that you can cancel the order up until the time that it ships but this is not true. I tried to cancel mine before they did anything with the order and they refused to cancel it.

They are cheap but you will never receive your merchandise. I ordered a product on August 1st 2024 and 10 days after not receiving my package I called UNI UNI delivery. They said the warehouse was notified to ship the merchandise. I still do not have what I paid for. If you want to waste time and you money you can purchase from this vendor.

I ordered a pebble ice maker in silver and received a regular one in black. I contacted customer service and told them this and that they would need to pay for shipping as this was their fault, not mine. They said I would get my money back. I took the item to UPs and shipped it back on 8/29/24 to the address they indicated. It was delivered back to them and signed for on 8/31/24. I have inquired about both of my refunds and they are stating it hasn't been received and to check with the courier. I have proof and have given them the tracking number. What they are doing and allowing is not right! They are allowing a store to sell an item they are advertising under false pretenses. Other customers have bought this same item and the same thing happened to them. I think attorneys need to get involved at this point.

Do not buy from SHEIN! I purchased multiple items(yukata dressing) from SHEIN and most of them were missing accessories such as fans and belts. I opened a case to let them know what were missing and uploaded requested pictures and videos. Instead of investigating into the matter, they shut the case and marked it as "resolved". This is a company which has no regards for its clients and it seriously lacks professionalism. I am not sure if I would ever receive missing items.

I have been a customer for years. Never had a problem with packages until recently. My biggest order. Over $100 worth of stuff. They decided to use a new carrier for my stuff and not the usual USPS. Some bs called SPEED X. They posted bogus updates on my package saying undeliverable, then delivered but guess what I got no package. Long story short Shein decided to favor this carrier and are not giving me a refund or credit for stuff I never received. My stuff basically stolen. Doesn't matter if your a customer for over 5 years. I never had issues and the minute I raise one they shut me down quickly. I'm shocked to be treated this way. Worst part u cant talk to anyone, you have to send stupid messages and wait for a response. I even contacted the SPEED X, they have yet to contact me, dead silence...makes me wonder, is there a scam going on under the table and stealing money from customers knowingly...never would I have thought Shein would treat a customer this way. But guess what, never again, I will not spend another dollar. Whoever has my things, I hope karma hits you very very hard.

I have been a Shein customer for many years.
Recently I made some orders and sent some stuff back.
Shein now refuses to arrange for reimbursement despite existing proof of shipment, just as they refuse to submit an investigation.
It is not even discussed, the customer service leaves something to be desired.
It doesn't work that way and I will do everything possible to get my money back and remain persistent!
If I do not receive my refund promptly, I will go to the lawyer.
How much would you like to pull your customers over the ear please?! Customer service no help! You have enough evidence and yet the employees lie and say it's not in storage?!

My packages were left in the lobby of my building then stolen! There several hundred apartments, it's free access for anyone to steal then you can't get in touch with anyone!

Lack of Flexibility for Loyal Customers
I've been a loyal Shein customer for a long time. Recently, due to a health issue, I couldn't return an item on time (exceptional circumstances). Despite explaining my situation (and requesting a chance to exchange the items size at least.) my request was denied, and the escalation was never raised. My ticket was closed and marked 'COMPLETED'. I feel ignored and will never use this shop again.
I understand return policies, but exceptional cases should be handled with empathy. Disappointed with the lack of flexibility.

They sell products, take your money, but then they don't send the products to you. I was a loyal Shein user, placing orders every week and spending a lot of money there. You would think that after I reported a missing product they would apologize and provide compensation. WRONG. They dismissed my claim, telling me that I was lying and that the product was, in fact, sent to me. I'm here to tell you that it was NOT sent to me, and I have a feeling that they oversell their products and when they run out, they simply don't send it to you and then claim that they did. After 4 years of buying off of SHEIN I've decided to fully Cut ties with the. Their products used to be very affordable and you can get a lot for a reasonable amount of money but now everything is just so much more expensive and their coupons do not work plus the shipping is very high considering all their stuff is made cheaply and poorly, and China. Their stuff has never been good quality, but over the years it's gone downhill and now it's just pure garbage, especially with all the harmful chemicals that are past the illegal right to put into products and all their stuff. It's very devastating and they've lost a really good customer I spent a lot of money in the past unfortunately Them and now I will no longer support them or give them money. I also got into their games which is supposed to help you win and earn some free gifts but they never give you the free gifts and they make you play over and over again, you get very close to receiving the gift and they don't even give it to you so frustrating you guys are shameful shameful fraud! Plus, I've become more of an elegant lady and elegant ladies do not buy from Sheen Fashion Nova and absolutely not from Temu. We buy from high end independent sellers that are based in New York Paris Italy and the UK. Not from companys like yours who have all the products manufactured, real dirt, cheap and places like China Who pay people over there pennies and sweatshops in child labour places and then charge a normal amount over here in the western countries with horrible toxic cheaply made products.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service that does not value their customers. They sent me a damaged item and when I reached out to customer service they told me I needed to return it to them so they can make verifications and then they'll be able to refund me. Mind you the item is a 1$ cheap flower. I have never had any issues returning things that didn't fit me or I just didn't like but cmon all that for a 1$ item (that they sent to me damaged which is their fault!) thats cheap. It isn't even about the money it is about the principle you send a damaged item you fix the issue. Especially now that Canada Post is on strike they dont even take any packages and im not going to wait I dont know how long for a 1$ refund which I told them and they didn't seem to care they said the only way that I can get refund is if I send the item back. Even if I do send it back to them, then what? They'll probably throw it away so why make things more complicated.I would 100% understand if it was a pricey item and once again I never had any problems returning the items back if they didn't fit but this is ridiculous. I have ordered with them for years and the way they treat customers is disgusting and unacceptable. They don't even care about making their customers happy or finding a good solution. I have been a loyal Shein customer for years and have never encountered issues with payments or delivery—until recently. My last experience was nothing short of a disaster.
For months, I've had trouble with their delivery partner Uni Uni. To resolve this, I specifically requested that future orders be sent via Canada Post, as customer service had previously assured me they could accommodate this request. However, for my last two orders—placed at the same time with separate order numbers—I reached out to ensure this was done, only to discover that both were sent via Uni Uni.
When I contacted customer service about this, I was met with excuses. They blamed the warehouse, even though I had sent a clear request. Then, they casually stated, "We will punish Uni Uni"—an unprofessional and completely inappropriate response.
The problems didn't stop there. When I received my orders, I wanted to return a few items. That's when I discovered a $26 shipping fee on one of the orders. I was told this could be due to a glitch, but instead of resolving the issue, I was asked to provide proof that I didn't select express shipping. Seriously? As a long-time customer, I expect better than being treated like this.
Adding insult to injury, I was told that the coupon I applied made my order ineligible for free shipping—even though the pre-discount total was $129.62, well above the threshold. I didn't notice this at the time because I was focused on requesting Canada Post for delivery. Yet, customer service implied it was my fault for not catching the error.
The final straw was their dismissive attitude and unprofessional language during our chat. I've never experienced such poor treatment from Shein before. I wasn't asking for free service; I simply wanted fairness and acknowledgment of the issue.
I'm done with Shein. Once I receive my refund for the returned items, I'll be deleting my account and app. To anyone considering shopping here: BEWARE. Their customer service has taken a nosedive, and their attitude towards loyal customers is Appalling
