Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Zulily staff and previous consumers.
If I had known the items were from China I would never have ordered. This site is a scam. Stay away from this. In addition to have to wait more than 3 months for the item it was too small (not sized for America) and I gave it away. Horrible experience, not up front with information about shipping, expected receiving dates, and the fact it has to come from China. BEWARE.
I never re I even my order either after over a month and had to cancel. I will never order from them again.
To be fair, they do explain shipping delays on the site. My understanding of the reason is they wait for all the orders to come in, then go to the manufacturer or supplier with the total order, the supplier sends to Zulily, and Zulily then sends on to the customer. I believe I had the fastest turnaround delivery with a recent order of SoftSpot shoes, with about 2 weeks from the time I ordered. Another thing, it just seems to me that orders from known suppliers seem to move faster.
There are tons of answers about this posted here, but Zulily is basically it's a company that matches manufacturers with buyers. Because there are so many different manufacturers, some items are great, some aren't. Sometimes they ship quickly, sometimes not. But if you're careful, you can get some great deals. Some of the things I do to mitigate problems with Zulily? I buy things I've tried on in the store (shoes are a perfect example). You can get them a LOT cheaper on Zulily. Otherwise, I look around on the web for reviews and sizing for manufacturers I haven't purchased from before. And if an item is really, really cheap? Just know that it probably won't be great quality. Which may be fine if you're paying $10 for a shirt and wearing it 6 times, right? Most items can be returned now (it wasn't always that way), but you don't get a full refund. Again, Zulily doesn't stock these items, so they have to send them back to the manufacturer. I just figure it's part of the deal - you pay a lot less, but it isn't like a full-service retailer by any means. Good luck!
Each item you order lists how many more are available. When that number reaches zero, Zulily places an order with manufacturer. It could take months before they place their order. It could be on backorder at the manufacturer so that would add even more time. The only thing you can do right now is call customer service to find out what the holdup is. Also, were you aware that if you don't like your items or if they don't fit (very likely), you're stuck... you can't return anything! This place is a ripoff!
I just listed the following for another person... They are flash selling vendors merchandise and don't stock items in their warehouse. So, the idea is no returns. But they want happy customers. Call them if you are unhappy with an item politely and ask if you can return. In my experience, if it is an expensive item, like a leather handbag, they have let me return. If say $20 or under, they say donate it and refunded my money or given me a store credit. If damaged or poor quality, they have in addition tacked on a $5-10 Zulily credit for the trouble. Call them and see what they will do for you. I have gotten great deals from them and am happy.
If you are not waiting for an order re- register with another email and start again. Mind you this could be fate telling you not to bother.
Majority of items posted on Zulily come from a third party, which is why the items have a no return policy. You're getting everything at a discounted rate. As far as clothing, each item has a size chart available, b/c each brand has may have a different size chart! I've NEVER had an issue with their site, and as far as customer service, they also want your shopping experience to satisfy their customers. As far as the wait time for your purchase, boils down to the third party seller. So it's worth the wait!
