Once you find something and open the product page you do not know what category it falls into, then it is difficult to find a cheaper quality or more popular alternative.

Shipping is long, most of the products are cheap but if you read carefully de reviews, measure yourself carefully if you're buying clothing, and order with at least 3 months delay before the day you need the item, everything should be fine.
On about a hundred orders, 4 or 5 of them were not refunded after a 3 months delay. Most of the time I receive the goods after the refund... I was never disappointed of any of my orders. Just read and be careful;-)
I ordered the Human Kinky straight hair and it looked nothing like the pictures. It does not even look like human hair but instead material strands from something. The hair was totally unmanageable no matter what I tried. The hair does not lay right - every time your move your head the hair becomes tangled leaving you to brush and comb every five minutes. Not worth the money.
After purchasing a wetsuit that was two sizes too small and asking for a refund, Aliexpress closed my dispute and offered no refund or resolution. The vendor just deferred to Aliexpress and they sided with the vendor. I ordered an XL wetsuit and they sent me a kids suit. Their customer service appears helpful and courteous but they end up doing nothing but wasting your time. Avoid Aliexpress!
I haven't received the item. When I raised the dispute Ali express is paying me only 60% of the amount that I have paid. For claiming the amount I have to wait for 90 days after my order and I am very much upset on this. A total of three items I didn't receive.
I've been using this site for online purchases since 2016 and have made close to 100 purchases. All purchases went smoothly with the exception of one where the seller sent a wrong item. Seller made good on it by sending the correct item and didn't require me to send the wrong item back. I've also had sellers willing to support (i. E. firmware/software updates... etc) a product more than a year after I have purchased them. All in all, a very good experience to date.
Be very careful who you are dealing with. I am never going to order from Aliexpress again. The seller is giving me a "round around", she does not want to refund the purse that I paid for and haven't received yet. I have been trying to get my refund after 4 months. Again, an overseas retailer. Much like the rest of them. However Ali was one of the first and is the largest. Great prices and selection on stuff we do not need, but would like to have. Slow shipping and good customer service :)
I am satisfied with service of AliExpress generally, mostly goods are beautiful with attractive prices, except men's jacket. No one time received a proper size. All time too small, though I used size table.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store.
