Shipping time wasn't too bad but didn't receive what I ordered. When I tried to resolve it, AliExpress wanted a picture of the incorrect item, which I sent, TWICE. They said they never received it and closed the dispute. Tried contacting the seller, they kept wanting me to send a picture which didn't work on the link they wanted me to use. After too many messages and them not wanting to fix it, I told them to forget it and I would keep what they sent (even though it wasn't what I wanted) and that I would NEVER order from AliExpress again. All they said was "sorry"!
AliExpres nice shopping but seems the shipping gets slower and more problems then before to the Netherlands. Among the Dutch Post the say that the trackking code gives the problem. Also the Dutch AliExpress is not to connect so problems are bigger and bigger

Bought a TV Android box from "We Chip"T95Z Plus Amlogic S912 Android 6.0 and it was junk out of the box. After having to submit a video of defective product, the seller agreed to me returning it.
Ali Express lost track of the case and had no idea what was going on so they rejected it. I contacted AliExpress and again sent them the video... they were to reopen the case as to ship this back to China would cost more than the $75 CDN I paid for it. They said they would look into it... NOT heard a single word to date! This was 30 days ago.
Messaging them and the seller through their site is a total pain In The $#*! and a total waste of time!
I want a refund NOW!

Obviously the largest problem is the sellers, but AliExpress does very little to keep its sellers honest.
For instance, there is an automated refund system in place for orders that don't ship in a timely manor, however many sellers circumvent this by issuing a false/misleading tracking number to prevent refunds. Worse yet many sellers will demand additional payment after the issuance of this false tracking number. The AliExpress automated customer service will not allow the opening of any dispute until the package tracking shows as delivered (which of course will never happen unless you pay the extortion fee). If you are fortunate enough to get in contact with a real consumer support agent they do very little other than send an email to the seller and advise you to open a dispute next month (even if you provide all correspondence with the seller that clearly shows the intentional fraud). AliExpress customer service has no authority/ability to issue a refund directly or sanction the seller in any way, so they essentially encourage this behavior (not the agents fault but clearly how AliExpress wishes to conduct business).
In short AliExpress itself does not ensure (or even encourage) honest seller practices while trying to stand in the position that they have no responsibility. At-least eBay/Paypal can issue a refund when a seller is fraudulent.
I've ordered a handful of times. Each time I took the time to read, what I can (I can't read Chinese), and read all the feedback for the seller. Don't order just based off the images because within the fine print - it usually says; "objects pictured can be different than items received."
I see a lot of complaints about slow shipping and how orders didn't ship out for 8+ days. Read what the seller tells you! My orders usually say " up to 9 days to process." Shipping is slow because IT COMES FROM CHINA! China doesn't have mail like the rest of the world. Some villages can't even allow mail during certain times due to the local issues. China is a repressed country with heavy restrictions. Even down to their internet access. You have to be patient! Also things don't show up at China customs and get moving right from there - they gather enough to make it worth their trip. Shipping to the US usually takes between 4-6 weeks. I've ordered from China a number of times from multiple sites - it's always the same.
Much like Ebay or Amazon - you just have to pay attention to who you buy from and read the fine print.
AliExpress Buyer Protection is a Joke. I order some pictures in October 2015 and they were never delivered. When I contacted the seller they said the pictures had been delivered to an address in the UAE, I live in the UK! The seller said I need to get a refund from AliExpress because it was purchased through their website, AliExpress don't want to know. The support staff have consistently lied, saying the dispute had been escalated when in fact it had been rejected. STAY AWAY
Aliexpress is a good page. I can find anything, cheap prices and good quality. Of course, you need put attention with several sellers, but is very easy.
I have ordered 5 things till now, and they all are as expected. Although due to distance it take almost 20 days to be delivered, but I am happy with what I got.
I ordered a pair of shoes and tey sent the wrong size. When you call the company, they tell you that returns and exchanges are handled only through email, but increasingshoes.com does not respond to emails.
These people are Chinese bandits! All their products are shipped from Hong Kong, I think several other of the elevated shoe sites on the web all link back to this one company.

Sorry for my English. I am Italian with a very good feedback on ebay, never had big problems on the shopping site. Unfortunately I had a very bad idea, in late July 2015, after consulting with friends to buy a pair of IP cam 320. I chose a vendor, it seemed correct, however it is detected in time a criminal. He sent me a single cam (completely different model no ip cam) the other never delivered. I wrote immediately. (They have provided false addresses for returning the package, numbers tel nonexistent). I returned to the cam wrong return address, indicated in the package receive (in addition to having paid customs duties on arrival and the shipment cost 50). We are in January the package is abandoned because the seller in cahoots with crowds of aliexpress. Wait terminate the terms of the dispute to receive the money, which aliexpress froze until now. This is not a market but a honest people Bay of thieves...

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.
