They let their sellers to send poor quality goods. After dispute they demand you return for your expenses. So no goods, no money. No buyer protection at all
Shipment of batteries (power banks as well as Lithium Batteries) is a grey area over here, you'll probably not receive your item even if the seller states that they ship it, at times it might reach you after a month or two months or even longer and in many times it does not even reach you! I've been using this site for more than 4 years. The prices are quite good, there's a huge variety of items. Reviews left by customers also help a lot when choosing a seller. There are some minor downsides like long shipping times but that really depends on the time of the season and how quickly the seller ships the item. When asked for full refund, some sellers act impolite and refuse to negotiate, but that's when aliexpress steps in. If it really isn't your fault you didn't get the item that you've wanted, they do a full refund. Throughout these 4 years I didn't have major problems with this site but there's always a room for improvement.
