I retired from a large hospital system that has Alight managing pensions and health care reimbursement accounts. Nightmare! Multiple denials of legitimate claims, requires excessive duplicative documentation; reps have been pleasant but completely uniformed, and downright incompetent; I ve actually heard "I don t know" as an answer to request for assistance. And their on line records don t match with the mailed docs; my pension has been in limbo for 18 months due to constant miscalculations. I ve filed an appeal, and contacted the Attorney General in MA. I have NO CONFIDENCE in this company, nor does any other retired nurse I know. But their profits are huge... just not invested in competent customer service.
I am a Joh Deere retiree visually repaired from a cataract extraction. My old computer doesn't work. I tried the online which is hard to find what you need. I called and asked for a claim from snd was told submit online. If that was possible I would have done so. I asked her to send form to my email. Hi was told snail mail only and it takes 7/10 days. Form never came. I called extremely upset because I need the roughly 600 they owe me. With help of. Family I got into Alight and filed my claims only to learn all denied. No reason for denial I called back and I was treated rude but but then I too was rude Finally a customer service said no claim form. I said once again email me form. She said you will have in 24 hours. Never received. Nephew hooked up old computer and I found a claim firm in email from years back. Completed and paid 37$ to fax. I pulled up Monday all approved. It said 1/2 days to deposit in my bank. I checked today and now all claims day in process. Terrible place to deal with
I put in a request a month ago to take out money for a down payment for a house and I keep getting the run around and saying the 35 pages of paperwork is not enough. I was supposed to close on this house on Friday and will basically lose it because their carelessness.
Throughout my career I have used many HSA/FSA companies that process claims. This company is by far the absolute worst. MONTHS after they have reimbursed you they come back and ask for receipts asking for more information and receipts. Why do they even approve and pay receipts in the first place if after several months later they are going to deny or ask for more detail? And the customer service is horrible as well.
Been insured 40 years without issues with HSA/FSA. Somehow after every claim since I have been with alight has been denied and documentation rejected. I don't think they actually offer a service.
Alight Solutions is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Alight makes it so hard to accomplish the easiest of tasks. The least efficient company ever, worse than the government, just absolutely horrible. Most company's accomplish in 1 day, what it will take Alight Solutions to do in months and then still not do what they said. Alight Solutions sucks, period
General Mills rolls your retirement account over to this scam retirement broker if you don't call back exactly 7 days from when you provide your rollover retirement account information. Alight has taken astronomical fees out and practically depleted my account. I have sent in 7 requests to have my accounts rolled over- always have a fax confirmation and they always say they don't get the faxes or they only received one account. According to their plan policy their Roth accounts are not transferable so you have to cash it out. I'm still fighting to get my 401k rolled over, but they just won't do it. They are running a major scam especially with the fees they are charging! Do not use this company! Do everything possible to avoid being in business with them!
DO NOT use their services. Their irresponsible tactics caused my daughter & I to be taken off our Health insurance. They sent us letter via US mail but when more info was needed, never notified us causing us to miss our deadline & only notified us after we were being removed.
Faxed receipt from doctor billing department. REIMBURSEMENT DENIED. Not enough information. Faxed details from insurance company and pathology report with date, time, doctor, diagnosis etc. DENIED again. Did survey but was blocked out saying I had finished. Lol. Very very frustrated. Now what do I do
The RHRA system for medication reimbursement is terrible. SOmetimes the claims are quickly paid sometimes they are denied for odd reason and then after a long runabout finally paid.
I had same medication reimbursed for years and all the sudden it said "denied" and "expense not eligible for reimbursement" I takes forever to finally get a chat person who is not! Knowledgeable in YSA.-- emails give no specific answers,-- altogether very bad service. I am committed to this company because it is my previous employer's choice for retirement health plan, coverage.
From an agency stand point they are horrible to have deal with. I spent over an hour on the phone between being placed on hold and talking to a rep only to be told they can't answer my question and will need to submit a ticket which can take 3-4 business days to receive a response. Businesses should be aware using them for their payroll and garnishment services. They fail to set up garnishments that can cause the employer to become liable for their employees debt.
Needed to change direct deposit information. Account was locked. It took 2 weeks to receive a pin to change DD info and new mailing address. Once all changed request 2 checks that were delayed be sent. Spoke to multiple customer service reps. Each making up a different story as to why it takes so long to send checks. 3 day internal process. Several days to contact bank and believe it or not 7-10 days in the mail Asked to have them over nighted. Get this the bafoons said I had to have a personal UPS account. Naturally I told them that was ridiculous. So, I was told that one check was sent 1/18/23. After numerous follow ups on 1/26/23 I was told they were sent to the wrong address because the bank didn't update there address. I called Alight corporate offices and the gave me the same run around. The management of this company ( and I use company lightly) is worthless and has no idea what goes on. Singularly the worst in the universe. Less than 0 stars.
Finding whom to call was difficult enough but navigating the menu has to be the worst such experience I have ever had and I have had some terrible ones. The online reviews are scathing and I must agree. However the gentleman I finally spoke to was polite, helpful and actually gave me the information I needed
They have my IRA and are refusing to cash it out to me. I have spoken to a variety of people and after filling out multiple forms they say they will not accept my signature wet or electronic. I am now I talks with the state attorney general and FINRA. Avoid these scum bags at every cost
This company sucks, it takes FOREVER for claims to process not to mention they stole $750 dollars from me 3 years ago when I mistakenly signed up for the wrong spending account then noticed it and tried to remedy it within a few months, they and my employer kept saying it's set in stone and continued taking money out of my check that I'd never be able to be reimbursed for since I don't use glasses or have dental needs that exceeded my coverage and then the company just took it at the end of the year. I hate them they take so long to process claims and customer service is a joke. I have no idea why my employer uses them as a company
Where do I start? Dealing with Alight is an exercise in frustration. They're incompetence is mind boggling. One month they'll cover a medical premium and the next month they'll deny the same medical premium. They're the provider for American Airlines reimbursement accounts and unfortunately, my colleagues have experienced the same frustration with Alight.
My HSA debit card was declined due to $0 balance. I called Fidelity and they informed me that they only administer the card and transactions, buy Alight is responsible for funding it. Alight failed to fund my account with MY money. It's almost impossible to get ahold of someone. After being transferred 5 times and being on hold for for 45 minutes, I was told that the card wouldn't be funded until the end of the month. All the while, I'm stuck with out of pocket costs for medical expenses and now I'll have to go through the always-fun experience of getting reimbursed. All the while they're making dividends off of my coworkers and my money. What a bunch of crooks!
I just logged in. Closed my laptop and came back. Put my log in info (That I took a picture off to not accidentally write down the wrong log in information). Can't log in. Can't reset password. Completely useless.
My savings account has disappeared - "technical issues" and "gap in information" from my last accessing my savings account 11/9/2019. The gap has disappeared my account. Who else had their account "gap"? This a security violation or just plain theft that has happened to others - what is published on immediate search is 2016 in California, a recent filing about 245k from Abbott Labs individual's account. With enough publicity, it can be a class action law suit. Who else had this happen to them?
Multiple oral verifications of identity, and multiple layers of agents before you can talk to someone helpful, they randomly deny claims that were approved the prior month. These get approved after re-submitting. The agents usually are working from home, you can hear the babies and dogs in the background, making the agent's accents even harder to understand.
Answer: It's a legimate scam company. It has offices and many employees, but fails on adminsitering benefits, wrongdfully denies claims,. And has no effective customer service. Whatever little they are paid by the company that hires them is a ripoff.
Answer: They are often imposible to reach in a sense because the computer system has limited topics, none related to Alight screw-ups, and if you pick the least immaterial choice, the rep you reaches is not emplowred to solve problems, only to report them to the indifferent Alight higher-ups in the U.S.
Answer: They weer picked by the company from which I retired - has to be bacasue they work cheap - but are not worth what they charge. Who hires a BBB D- rated company?
