Coleman gets some bad reviews but in my experience none of what people complain about was true. I got my couch much earlier than what I was conditioned to expect, it came in perfect condition and the delivery men quickly got it into my house without hitting a single wall door,door way, floor etc They were fast, polite and well spoken.
Recently purchased the Cali pearl performance modular sectional a month and a half ago. The sectional looks nice but the comfort is definitely lacking. I bought it because I've seen a few reviews but sad to say they were off. The cushions get flat and thin and they're just not comfortable to lounge in. Now I know to test a product before purchasing.
We purchased a bedroom outfit for our son and it turned out to be exactly what he needed. It is in excellent condition and looks great in his room.
Called and spoke with Jill. She was very helpful and assured me the product was out of stock but would come back into stock. So, I placed my order.

STAY AWAY and DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! Coleman Furniture is the absolute worst company with the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Their Customer Service reps are rude, not helpful, and seriously try to put the fact that furniture they delivered with a defect is the consumer's fault, and therefore, the consumer's issue to have to deal with. I ordered several pieces of furniture for my office. The desk was scratched and the expensive chair DOES NOT GO UP or DOWN. It does not work, and William, the head of Customer Service, says that it is my fault. I brought up the fact that the chair would not go up and down when it was delivered, and I was told that "it works, but we just don't know how to work it" from the delivery folks (who were very nice). So, I trusted that to be true, since Coleman Furniture claims to check each piece of furniture before it is delivered. Now, they will not take responsibility and says that it is my issue. The chair was really expensive, and unless they lower my new desk to be 1 ft off the floor, I cannot use my chair at all with my desk (which is also scratched). Coleman Furniture officially earns the absolute WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE award ever. In this day and age of having options to purchase furniture, pay a little extra with a reputable company.
On December 5,2022, I placed an order for a bedroom set with Coleman Furniture, costing $3,336.99. The furniture arrived in late December 2022 or early January 2023. When the items arrived: 1) the wood was more distressed than shown on the website photos; 2) the dresser had a hole in the rear panel, the two chests had chunks missing from the veneer, the headboard had a ding and chipped paint; and, 3) the two night stands, and one chest, wobbled heavily.
I immediately contacted Coleman and explained the aforementioned. Not wanting to wait another several weeks for poor bedroom furniture, I requested an immediate return and refund. Coleman insisted that according to their return policy, I was only entitled to repairs, that "[f]inishes and colors online may not accurately represent the true color or pattern", and that the customer accepts liability in the eventuality that such misrepresentation takes place. You read that right. Your furniture could arrive neon pink and Coleman would have no obligation for that. And, even if your items are all damaged/defective, after a month of waiting, you have to wait longer for them to try and fix them? How much longer, and how many times? Uncertain.
This unreasonably policy is not on the item page itself, but in a separate return page, with other unfair policies that absolve them of all responsibility to their customers. Coleman picked up their damaged furniture and deducted a 15% restock fee from the refund, totaling over $500. Apparently, according to their policies, they could also have charged return shipping.
The response from the Director of Customer Service, Rachel Shapiro? "You chose to place your order and agree to the terms and conditions when you placed your order. We did not force you to do that." And she's right. They didn't force me. They just created the single worst warranty/return policy I have ever heard of, put it in a separate page, away from the actual item information, and then charged me a "restock fee" presumably to sell their defective items to someone else to whom they owe no obligation.
Avoid this company like the plague and if they pull this with you, do what I did and file a consumer protection complaint with your state.
Shopping experience went smoothly for the most part. During my search, some of the couches weren't coming up. I had to search by name at one point.

The nightstand arrived with no damage or scratches. We got exactly what we wanted, within a decent time frame.
I placed an order with this company on Apr 4th because coleman was advertising an item I had been watching as a sale item ending in 2 days.(which they change every couple of days even if they don't have the item available) After months of waiting and being given the run around I finally cancelled my order. This company gave me every excuse under the sun as to why my order was delayed. They also continued to advertise the item as being on sale changing the price every couple of days even adding a stock inventory count. I called them out on this and they quickly removed it. Further they have been in constant violation of their MAT pricing. Finally I found the item in stock else where. When it came time to cancel the order the company was very difficult to deal with. They did not cancel my order, tried to deliver it to me 2 weeks after they gave me a partial refund and had confirmed my cancellation and then to top it all off they charged me a re stock fee. Coleman does not stock items they are a drop shipper. Further I confirmed with the manufacturer Howard Miller that no order had ever been placed to begin with. Which is why they refused to give me tracking info when requested. After months of disputing the charge and dealing with countless coleman reps they finally admitted to wronging me and tried to entice me with a discount if I removed my reviews online. I don't know how they could possibly think I would ever do business with them again after my initial experience. With what they offered me I would have to spend another $2334. 00 in order to break even. New buyers please be aware and stay away. Northside clocks sells howard miller and they will actually give you a discount if you tell them you originally looked at coleman. This awesome company has even offered to pay part of the restock fee. Something Coleman does not want to budge on.
