I placed an order with GearBest on March 24th for a tablet. It wasn't evident to me from the site that they were based in China or that it would take MONTHS (if ever) for my item to arrive. But once I ordered, I was committed. I received an email a few days later, stating that my item had shipped. It's now MAY 10th and I have yet to see it. The lame tracking they provided indicated that it was still in-route to the USA a few days ago. Since I paid with PayPal, I opened a case to see what could be done. I have given up hope of ever receiving the item and since I needed the tablet for a trip I had to take, had to purchase the tablet from another (local) supplier. I'm not sure if I will ever see the tablet (who cares, at this point?) or the money I paid for it (I am hoping that isn't a total flush). I guess some buyers are happy with their product/service, based on the reviews (IF they are real)... but I would never buy from them again and if I had read the negative reviews here first, I never would have in the first place.

I recently ordered a EARSON ER-151 bluetooth speaker from Gearbest since it had the lowest price I could find. I received it in two weeks - nothing to complain about. If you can't find the right price for something you want in stores like Amazon and eBay, then Gearbest is a good place to look for inexpensive electronic stuff of adequate quality, offered from many China-based brands. Recommended!

Fraudsters

The original review has been changed as per GearBest request from an attempt to make up for customers and to raise customer's satisfaction level.
After I posted feedbacks on multiple external sites, GearBest customer service immediately contacted me via e-mail to resolve the issue (provided full refund into my credit card and sent bonus credit points into my account) that initially their customer service was unable to provide a satisfactory solution. I guess this is a good attempt from management to improve the quality of service, and they are actively seeking feedback to adapt/change their policies.
I personally value how GearBest management is actively seeking solutions to provide better shopping experience for customers.

This is the original review:
"Fake products from China, the discount prices are fake (you can see that by refreshing the page and see it goes up and down), don't get scammed for the cheap prices, as the products will NOT work and you are wasting your money for nothing.
Bought a few items in 1 order, turned out they are all fake product from China. When you turn them on, some of them even says "This product can only be used in China" and turn off by themselves.
After I sent them a request to rectify the issue, they kept referring me back to their refund and return policy, and made me video tape what is wrong with the product. And even after seeing it's definitely the product's fault, they made me try different silly ways to reset it.
In the end, they gave me 3 options:
- Send the item back to China with shipping at my expense and get refund with store credit (which shipping will probably cost more than the product, and you never know if the product will arrive, and most importantly, store credit to use in store to buy other items for them? NO WAY).
- Send the item back to China with shipping at my expense and get a new item (which you never know if the new item will work, and you're paying more money again).
- Get refund of 15% of purchase price with store credit (reading up to here, you realise that you will never get your money back).

So doesn't matter what product they have and you can't find in your own country, high chances are, even if you buy from them, you won't get the product you want anyway, so be AWARE, you have been WARNED!

As the whole community we can fight for our rights, and let's start with NOT buying any products from them AGAIN, see how they survive with no customers."

Update on my order - package had arrived 12/5 recieved it order was placed on the 30th of April and if you think about it it only took 9 Business days to arrive from China not bad! Could not track the item until it had arrived in the Uk but I van live with that. Coustomer Support was helpful (through email) and I would recomend GearBest for resonablr priced merchandise. Do not take in every negative comment made here thats what I did and worried too much about it!

I ordered a router Xiaomi MI Wifi, and other trifles. Parcel was delivered within a month to Ukraine, Kiev to the house right in the hands. The router works great and makes me happy every day. I ordered a component two weeks ago, the XFL freight site just tells you how many days it's been in transit, nothing else. Their is no phone number or address on their site. No way to return defective equipment. The live chat doesn't work and the Contact Us link displays an error message. Don't waste your time with these idiots!

Purchased a smart watch - stopped working after 2 weeks. Contacted customer support and was given 3 worthless options: 1.) Ship back to China at my own expense ($30 - $50) 2.) Get a 50% credit to purchase something else on their site 3.) Pay 50% of the purchase price and they will ship me another one.

I have buy from gearbest one DOOGEEE S1 smartwatch phone. Arrived fast but with a part of touch screen unresponsive. I have contacted Gearbest support in the same day and send to them a description of problem and a video with the defect product youtu be/JPPbVRfrrz4? T=56 in the same day.
They send me a replacement (i have to pay for shipping).
With no return (i have to pay for shipping).
I received one airmouse smashed during shipping and was replaced for free by gearbest.
I will continue to buy from them because they have fast shipping, lower prices.(one parcel arrived in 6 days from china to my post office in EU) and with some patience problems can be resolved with gearbest support

After below two posts, I received my item last week (may 12). It's authentic rii remote, works great! Shipping time was slow, as seen from earlier comments I made, but once in contact with their service department, I couldn't be more pleased.

Happily recommend and will be definite repeat customer!

After posting the below, I found gearbest email through site jabber. I sent email to gearbest and within a few hours had a response. Very quick and helpful once I was able to get in contact. I'm still waiting on my product and once I receive, overall rating will be adjusted up.

I ordered the rii i8 remote on April 2 2016, it says shipped out on April 5th. It's now May 4 2016 and I haven't received my product. I've tried to contact customer support, but their chat is always 'connecting' and 'busy' due to it being "peakseason". I've tried to log a ticket through customer service, but I'm unable to send a ticket on their site through Chrome, Explorer, or Firefox. I've tried 4 different computers, and googled this issue... seems I'm not the only one. Thus I've had NO WAY of getting in contact. I'll be contacting my credit card company in a few days to reverse the payment.

In December 2015 I orderd a cellphone from gearbest ( EU Warehouse). Afer only 2 month the phone had a failure and I contacted the support center. They told me to return the item to china. No problem, i sent the item to the adress and waited... and waited... and waited. Tracking information said that the item was delivered. So I contacted the support center and again after a few messages the money was refunded to gb wallet.
Then I tried to order a new cellphone. After FOUR weeks the order status was still processing. So I had to contact the support center again. They told me that they will cancel the order and redund the money to the gb wallet. The money was refunded after a few days... but the order is still in status processing ( until now)
No Problem... the money was redundet... so I ordered the next cellphone...
This time the order status is paid for a very long time... and I think you´ll now what was happening... nothing.

Ordered a Panzer DNA 200 Mod of ThinkVape.
When it got here was so happy - but after 3 daysit broke.
Gearbest offered me 20$ refund if I send it back - 114 paid.
Or pay another 90$ to keep and get another one sent.

The box was a fake one - The battery was not original. No serial number where it should be I even reached out directly to producer and they said same I have been scammed.

Would not recommend to anyone. A lot of money spent and stuff gets broken and advertised as original is not really original.

It's not charging - the charging speed is 0.01Amps.
It only works when connected to USB - works mean - the screen and eScribe - you can't vape cos moment you connect an atomizer DNA turns off.
If you don't believe me I can share my whole conversation with GB Support and they're really bad sense of humor with offers said above.
The box I received is not original - the battery is not original - not signed like yours Daniel - there is no Serial Number - tho the board only is DNA original as checked the serial from eScribe.

A HUGE LOAD OF BULLCRAP!
