Partial refund
June 9, 2016

After fighting with this company for a month I filled out a review on here. I was given a partial refund of $40 out of the original 136 order. The company had the nerve to ask me to upgrade my review on here. They also keep giving me a story about how they checked with PayPal on my money. I don't think it was ever sent.

It was the first time that I bought something from a chinese website and I was a little sceptical. The item I was looking for wasn't sold in Europe so I had no choice but try it. And I have to say that I have been happily suprised about it.
First of all, the item, which was meizu's bluetooth earbuds, was discounted and free of shipping charges. Since the shipping was free, I was expecting to have to wait 30+ days to receive it, but no, I received it the 06/02, not even 17 days after the order. I also received regularly informations about the location of the product during the process (but I did pay 2 dollars for a tracking number).
The item was an original meizu product, not a fake, and the quality is of a high level. Really nicely surprised and happy about it.

I placed and order in total about $45.00, a week later I started getting email, after email stating that I needed to verify my payment. I engored the request at first basically because the link they gave me to verify my order was un-clickable. I did check my credit card statement and my card was in deed charged. But the emails kept coming. But now stating that I needed to send a color photo copy of my credit card and license. HA! Fat chance.! I don't get it, they already was paid, why did they need all that? I wrote to them and said I wasn't sending them anything, and to issue me a refund... Now we wait.

Gear best range of products is different from other sites like Amazon or Ebay, this is what originally drew me to the site. Any product you find on gear best are first cheap which is why I was sceptical at first. However after ordering five products all of which where of good quality I cannot fault gear best and will be shopping there again soon

My first review was "THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE" (they are btw) in short the product was faulty, and they were wasting time rather than giving me my refund, I don't think they were ever planning to! They were asking me to send a video and asking what I had done to solve the problem DONT WASTE TIME. After some research into Chinese consumer rights (Google for info) it appears you only have 1 week to launch an official refund request. Push hard, don't be afraid to get advice (which? Was very handy especially for constructing a letter for what you want). Let them know you've researched your rights, and it is illegal for them not to honour it, and don't be afraid to take the matter further.
Finally got a refund but they're now trying to bribe me with a "gift" to change my review... that is even more offensive to me!

I ordered 3 items at the same time (mi powerbank, each g2100 stereo headphones and mini table vise). They were all put together and shipped out quickly after the payment was made. These items came in around 15 work days which is rather quickly, given my destination country (it usually takes much more to arrive). All three items were well packaged and securred with bubble-wrap. The packaging and the contents of the shipment was intact and in perfect working condition. I am very happy with the quality, speed and tech support of the delivery, as well as free shipping number via Netherlands POST mail-in service (some other sites require additional fee for the tracking number). I am sure to buy more tech gadgets from this reseller in the nearest future.

I recently found this site and immediately noticed that the prices were far below most places. I decided to place an order and get a micro sd card. It came fast and exactly as described. RUSSIAN ROULETTE!

Don't spend any more than your willing to throw away! Your taking a big chance with this company. They will put you through the wringer! I bought a few cheaper items that were fine and very happy with. However, the $138.24 USD item I bought did not work. They offered me a $25.00 refund which I should have accepted though PayPal because it's going to cost me $70.00 to ship back and I can't even figure out how to fill out the customs declaration and dispatch note, and I only have two days to provide a tracking # or the case will be dropped. Even if I do get it out in time, I'm sure I will never see a dime! Just look at all of there replies, they are all the same BS every time! I will never buy from them again and discourage anyone I can though social media not too as well!

PAY A LITTLE EXTRA $$ AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEADACHE!

We purchased a drone XK X250 - A 5.8G FPV Quadcopter - BLACK. It did not work from opening the box and they did not honor their 45 day return policy or their DOA policy. We spent $116 they did offer me 8$ back but not to fix the issue.

After having to kick up a fuss, GearBest did finally ship my order again. It took a lot of back and forth, but they finally did the right thing. I'm upgrading the review from 1 star to 3. I have not yet decided if I'll order from them again.

Update: It's just a shame that they only really started responding after kicking up a fuss. Here's the thing: I have several support tickets that are still open, and have two offers: Accept a partial refund, or pay them more money to ship my order again. They are overlooking option 3: continue with the chargeback procedure with my credit card company and buy the product from a different seller.

At least I think it was my order. It could have been a box of cash for all I know.

They asked to see a scan of my ID and credit card before shipping so I know they have the correct delivery address (I was having the product sent to my home). Yes, this did seem very sketchy. I was really looking forward to receiving the product so I was regularly checking the delivery tracking. My order bounced all over the country (California to Nevada to California again to New York to California for the third and finally back to New York for the second and final time). The tracking shows that it was "Delivered" in Inwood, NY. Um, I live in California, guys. Not New York.

They graciously offered 10% back as a store credit.

I countered by disputing with my credit card company. If you've ordered from them and got your product, count yourself lucky. Personally, I would avoid them like a leper in ancient times.

I bougth a telephone, Ulefone Be Touch 3, along with other things. The telephone never worked properly, none of the cameras seemed to exist for use, and other features couldn't work either.
I contact then and they told me to send the telephone back.
4 month now and I'm still waiting for any kind of answer.

It took a long time for the parcel to get to gearbest headquarters, but in the end it arrived and I got my refund.

Update after several weeks: issue finally solved by Gearbest by resending a correct device. I did took me multiple hours to convince them, so rating still low from my point of view.

I have ordered 3 smartpones and accessories till now, and in 2 out of 3 cases, it went wrong. The customer service just offered a 'virtual' refund via their 'wallet', instead of a solution (resend new or proper device) or a proper refund via e.g. Paypal, so you really get your money back.
One of the items I bought showed 'in stock' at moment of ordering, so I paid, but afterwards was 'out of stock' and I didn't get my real money back. Though the reaction speed of their customers service was ok, it's Not a solution oriented servicing...

Updated: Gearbest got in touch, but there's still no solution for it. This is costing me hours of time, and still without a decent phone:-(((

My experience with this store is really good, in fact I often buy from this store without encountering any problems.

Shipping is always at around 15/30 days, that's because I live in Europe.

Hi guys! I want to tell you that Gearbest.com is the best online with fast package item and ship item within 2weeks after packaging for 1-2days.
Everytime you have problem just submit a request ticket asap and don't be hesitate with your problem. GB's Staff is always there to help you everytime you submit a request ticket. Usually take about 30minutes or a few hours.
If they had discounted product item for you just don't use random Coupon code on Internet what they said. It's just a goddam lies. I lost my 9.48$ and i was mad then they came up and solve me this problem that i caused myself. They Refunded me after i confirmed my mistake and misunderstand about VIP Discount and Coupon code. With Coupon code you can use only once. Or GB will announce the coupon code for every customers to use. I hope GB will make any coupon code soon :) .
I don't know why other reviews are negative and said GB is unreliable but for me they're reliable for customer service! Everything is appreciated! RECOMMEND Gearbest.com (Best Online Shopping site)

I have ordered a "MINI 0805 1.5 inch 1296P HD LCD Screen GPS Car DVR Camcorder" almost 2 months back and the item never delivered. The tracking message was showing "The item has been delivered successfully".

I contacted gear best regarding this and after few up and down communication they were managed to give a full refund of what I have lost.

Thanks for the refund. Even though I didn't get what I desire, the refund gave me temporary relief.

Hello

I ordered some IZTOR B7007BL Car Voltmeter Clock Thermometer from Gearbest lately. As the clock was incomplete (the measuring sensor + its cable) was missing I wrote message to Gearbest. The lady offered few options on how to resolve this issue. I selected to resend new piece to me with no additional costs. So did Gearbest and shortly afterwards I received this device with no slightest flaw, it was complete and working well this time.
I feel very satisfied with this fashion Gearbest behaves its customers. Let me be this kind of customer further on.
