Kiwi will provide you a good price for international travel but they will not clearly inform you of baggage requirements. One airline may allow a carry-on and a bag to stow under the seat where another will only allow a single carry-on. Then one airline has a 10kg limit where the next one may have a 12kg limit on weight. Kiwi will not provide this to your so if you have 2,3 or 4 flights, you have to do ALL the analysis. I would never use their service again and would absolutely pay a little more and book directly with the airline or just go through AAA. I even paid for $89 annual membership so I did not suffer like this again as Kiwi ruined my European vacation. They changed my flights 5 times prior to the day of departure inevitably delaying my initial flight 8 hours and return flight 13 hours. Their customer service is not very good and has no real idea how to help.
Kiwi.com is the worst place to get your ticket if I had read reviews before I book flight I would never ever book from this company totally scam pretty quick to charge your card but refused to refund. People be aware of this scam I would never recommend my family friends and anyone.If you want some money in your pocket never book from this. Worst service they never pick up the call. So you have 2 options. Pay extra for another planeticket that they cancel and if that's cancelled aswell then good luck because they can then ask you for more money again. You can ask for a refund but ive been waiting 8 months now and they haven't even written an email.
I bought 2 tickets in kiwi.com but they didn't gave me 2. Ticket information. I bought new ticket for my second flight. I wrote them and they told me we will refund you. After one month and 2 days they told me we can not refund you. That's not fair. I don't trust them anymore. Be careful when you choose that liars.
This site is a SCAM, do not use! After booking a flight that was canceled, they refused to refund the amount. Upon investigating with the airline, a fraudulent card was used to make the booking. Terrible customer service, a complete waste! If a zero star rating was possible, it would suffice!
They sold me a ticket with missing information. They give me the ticket as Toronto to Istanbul. But in fact it was part of a deal of trip Toronto to Istanbul to London. But the Turkish air line was rude too they didn't accept me because when the know I will be in Istanbul as final destination.
I booked a ticket from Mexico City, Mexico to Boise, Idaho, USA, with a plane change in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. KIWI.com allowed 1-hr between landing in Nevada and leaving for Idaho. Because I was traveling internationally, after landing in Nevada, I had to go through customs and take a bus to another terminal - those activities require extra time. The time allowed by KIWI.com was insufficient and I missed my flight to Idaho!
When I use a company to book a flight, the expectation is that they will take care of the details (such as providing sufficient time when traveling internationally!). Also, I had to buy a $400 USD ticket with another airline to make it to my final destination. Because the airline that KIWI.com had used, did not have another available flight for 4 days!
When I asked KIWI.com to reimburse my fee (for their error) - they laughed in my face.
This company will never be successful. Just awful!
I found a ticket from Eastern Europe to Cincinnati with three flights (this is normal) for $300. Usually, on the off months I pay between $600-$900 and during peak months I pay between $1k-$1.2k. Reading all of the reviews, and having a horrible experience with BravoFly, I was 1000% skeptical and worried. I think I didn't have a bad experience because there were no cancelations with any of my flights since I bought it about 10 days before departure. I didn't have to communicate with anyone from their team, everything went pretty normal. My review is that they saved me money and I was able to get from point A to point B. I will definitely continue using them for my flights.
It is the worst. It is better not to use it.
I booked a flight between Tokyo and Manila. I then needed to reschedule and applied to change my flight reservation. I was assured that a receipt was issued for the difference and payment due to the flight change. A booking number was also issued.
I was then asked to submit my passport information via the message function of the app. Since it was the message function of the app, I was late to notice and by the time I sent the passport information, the ticket was already sold out and could not be changed. The original booking fee was not refunded.
If you don't want to have an experience like mine, don't use kiwi. You will waste your money.

They say in their reply that they will respond as soon as possible, but there is no follow up after that. This is a really bad company. I really don't think you should use this travel agency.
I have been waiting on a refund from Kiwi for 11 months now. Alitalia and EasyJet have refunded Kiwi however Kiwi have, until about 6 weeks ago, been telling me that the refund process takes some time. Now, in the past 6 weeks, they are refusing to respond to my messages. They have now been in funds for several months and are holding those funds. I suspect they are doing this with a number of clients to keep themselves solvent. It is a blatant breach of bankruptcy laws to continue to trade whilst insolvent. Appalling... I plead with everyone that, until such time as the banks propping up this company are left with no option but to call in Kiwi's enormous debt - DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
