I have never had a problem with any other pharmacy. These people suck. I try to get prescriptions every 90 days but I spend two hours on the phone every time and all I hear is "I understand sir" Apparently they don't and I waste my time. United Healthcare get it together and get rid of these morons or I'm getting rid of you. Years of misery!
Substandard customer service, they have people answering the phone, from overseas more than likely, that have no clue what they are doing. Even supervisors are clueless and less than helpful. If I could go elsewhere, I would, but stuck with this idiot company due to United Healthcare, UGH!
Or the same one every time!
Ugh this pharmacy drives me crazy. The worst customer service. And I only use it because I'm required to use a specialty pharmacy for one of my meds and my insurance works with these knuckle heads.
I try my best not to call them because I spend 20 minutes on hold and talk to someone for 2 minutes only to be transferred a bunch of times.
You get to the bottom of the issue but only after long calls.
If you do not have to use this pharmacy, don't.
After a 2 weeks and 30+ phone calls to the Philippines I was transferred to someone in the US that basically was just as not helpful as the others … save yourself the headache and google the drug name and coupon and see if there's an actual real pharmacy nearby you can get it thru. Avoid this cluster of a company as much as possible!
All my medications are covered under my United Healthcare coverage; however, Optumrx is saying my asthma inhaler may not be covered and they want my card info for any payments pending. Never had to pay before and been on this med for years. I thought this would be a good option for me but not anymore.
Worst prescription insurance company. Title of the review says it all. Call center employees are frequently incapable of communicating the solution of a single simple step to get prescriptions filled. Emails sent out contain no information on issues with pending RX orders. Once had to speak to three separate employees to find out that I simply had to update the credit card on file for their website to get a pending prescription to process. Website is next to useless.
I've been on a medication for several years. Each year I have to do a prior authorization. I needed the prescription filled a month ago. The doctor has filled out the information twice, it still hasn't been approved. An insurance company has no business determining if they feel my medication is appropriate. On top of that, I've been told 10 different things and spent a few hours on the phone. I am appalled at the audacity of an insurance company to not just have a list of approved meds and use that instead of questioning my healthcare regimen.
Customer service will literally hang up on you if it isn't something quick to answer after long hold times. I have been trying to get a prior authorization to go through that they get wrong every six months. I started on Oct. 11,2021, and today it is 12/16/2021 and it still has not gone through. Even the Supervisor's are unhelpful. Someone put in a case for me to have my situation investigated and even they have not been back in touch with me. I have wasted over 12 hours on the phone with them to still not have my issue corrected... which is on their end... not my doctor's or mine like they try to excuse it. Then they transfer me again. It is an endless cycle for a prescription I have had for 2 1/2 years.
This is the worst Company for customer service. Every time I have called I have been on the phone for over an hour and have been transferred to at least 4 Departments at a minimum with no resolution to the problem. Each Department start off by asking you the same information. Finally someone Will give you another 800 number so you can start the process again
Constantly keeping ordered on "hold". The reason fir the hold differed with every customer service rep.
Customer service reps completely not helpful, repeating what you say over and over, hard to understand due to strong Indian accents, takes so long to get truth to a call due to constant repeating of information. I can no longer get stand dealing with this company. The worst pharmacy on the planet.
Answer: They are a legitimate pharmacy benefits manager for United Healthcare, but their prices and practices leave alot to be desired.
Answer: Don't hold your breath - they are all about money - not customer service
Answer: You can send them a message on their website which they won't even read for days, so it's a useless feature. You can also call them at 1 (800) 356-3477 and sit on hold for 10 minutes before getting a person to talk to. In my experience, calling them has never resolved whatever issue I'm calling about, but you can talk to someone.
Answer: Only bad part of this united plan. Optum is worse than poor. They misplace Rx's and then lie
Optumrx has a rating of 1.1 stars from 447 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Optumrx most frequently mention customer service, local pharmacy and mail order. Optumrx ranks 8th among Pharmacy sites.
