While Booking our reservation on June 6th for the 4th of July I was very specific that I might need to CANCEL. I was told that there will be no fees to cancel and could cancel up until July 3rd. Respectfully, when our plans changed I called today (6 days later) and could not CANCEL until I was within 7 days per audio recordings... I found a cancellation link on my reservation, the link gives 2 options; Option 1: Keep your Booking - or - Option 2: Cancel with a $19.99 fee. I was told I would not be charged so I clicked "Keep your Booking" to avoid the fee and I then received a NEW number to call. I called this number immediately and spoke to a Representative who now stated I cannot cancel my booking now because I chose to keep the booking in the option choices! Never once did I use a curse word and remained very polite with these people. I asked to speak to a supervisor who gave me the name of Gina (Employee ID *******). I explained the situation and she stated she could do nothing and stated there was no one there above her. She eventually hung up the phone on me. I called again and Gina (the same Supervisor) actually answered. This time she gave me a different Employee number (*******). She was caught in a lie and was NOT a supervisor. She couldn't even answer me without long hesitations while I was asking why her employee number changed and why she stated she was a supervisor just minutes before. She never answered the questions. I waited on hold and eventually spoke to a Manager named Jacklyn (Employee number *******). I am 2 hours into dealing with this and she stated "nothing could be done". After my relentlessness she finally canceled the rooms and still charged me $19.99. Very Poor and Dishonest Customer Service!
Not only did they get the reservation wrong. They charged $40 above what they quoted. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!
Just returned from a family vacation driving from Tx to Las Vegas round trip. On our way to Las Vegas we decided to stay overnight in Albuquerque, We called the Days Inn in downtown Albuquerque thinking we were talking to the Wyndom Hotels which owns Days Inn chain. We didn't know the number actually went to Reservations.com. We reserved 5 rooms. I explained to the lady that booked the room that we had ALL senior citizens in our group, including my 93 year Mom. Therefore, IF the rooms were all on an upper floor we would DEFINITELY need a hotel with an elevator. She assured me we were covered. Upon arrival, we discovered that there was NO elevator and that the rooms were ALL on the second floor. I called back to what I thought was Wyndom,/Days Inn and she apologized. She also couldn't find any decent hotel rooms available in Albuquerque BUT there were rooms at a Best Western in Grants New Mexico, about 62 miles west and that it had an elevator. We went there only to have the front desk tell us that there were NO ROOMS at all. We even had reservation numbers but it didn't matter. There were no rooms! We went across the street to Holiday Inn Express and THEY had excellent rooms, great rates AND a free breakfast which was really nice! From now on, we will ALWAYS book with Holiday Inn Express! Now to our return trip. We called the Days Inn in Amarillo to book 5 rooms. The advertisement on the web looked nice and it looked like it was a good property with fairly decent reviews. We called once again what I THOUGHT was Days Inn/ Wyndom, made reservations with a credit card for late arrival, 5 rooms. All set! Upon arrival, they only had reservations for FOUR rooms. Fortunately, there were 2 no shows and the clerk was able to get us the 5th room. Bottom Line is, DO NOT USE Reservations.com for any hotel bookings..

This company collects ESTIMATED TAXES NOT THE REAL TAXES which end up being twice what they real taxes are.

Esta empresa es un fraude. Llame un lunes para reservar una habitación en el grand hyatt tampa bay y pagué por desayuno y habitación con vista a la bahía. Me llamó la atención q dos dias después no me habían enviado correo de confirmación, pero si me habian cobrado toda la cantidad, asi q volví a llamar. Despues de mas d media hora en la línea la persona q me atendió no encontraba la reservación, me pusieron en espera otra vez y al rato me dicen q mi reservación ya estaba hecha. Solo para confirmar le digo a la persona - entonces tengo habitación con vista a la bahía y desayuno- ahi es donde me dice q no estaba incluido el deayuno, le digo q como es posible si cuando reservé pedí desayuno. Me dicen q no podían hacer nada q en el precio q ya me habian cobrado no estaba incluido el desayuno. Terminé cancelando y llamando directamente al hotel donde en seguida me dieron lo que quería. Mi consejo, no reserven a traves d páginas, LLAMEN DIRECTO AL HOTEL. Además está pagina cobra un cargo de 14.99 dice q por su gestión, CUAL GESTIÓN? Si hacen todo mal para estafarte tu dinero.

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
