We had to checked in with the baby. It was cold the code was not working we kept calling their customer service for 1 hour, no one picked up and then i change the service option and called for booking they picked right away lol.( first take care of existing customers) then they were like sir it will take hour. You serious? We had to book a hotel. Worst service please go for Airbnb instead.
They have serious issues when they have the same excuse for 4 different cards from 3 people trying to rent. Feel sorry for the owners that use them. Glass 303 you need to complain about the loss of revenue. I will never use Vacasa well never try to use them again

There were ants in the apartment and water coming through the ceiling and no response for nearly a week and no phone line out to contact anyone
I booked a golf trip to the Oregon Coast and unfortunately there is a Cyclone coming in right now. Vacasa has said sorry there is nothing they can do about it and they will not refund any money or provide any trip credit for future use. I will never book with them again.

Our family experienced roaches and bed bugs before leaving the home at 2am to check into a hotel and calls and e-mails to Vacasa were not responded to appropriately. Over the next several weeks we called every other day after not receiving the promised calls from Managers. I would steer clear of Vacasa.
Terrible experience with their customer service. Apparently Covid isn't a problem to them anymore. We tested positive for covid and had to cancel our trip because we were trying to be responsible and not take covid with us on a long journey to CO. Anyways we got back like a quarter of what we paid. So you are welcome for the free money you greedy A**holes.
Do NOT book on Vacasa. We realized within 24 hrs we accidentally booked the wrong dates for a trip within the same month. We asked to switch to the correct dates (the home was showing available). By the time they agreed to switch dates, the home was no longer available. They then agreed we could choose a completely different weekend and did not mention we only had 12 hours to choose. Home still shows available for multiple dates and they refuse to refund or change them. This is my first negative review but I sincerely hope to prevent other customers from using this company. Stick to Airbnb.
The pictures are deceiving. The long lenses makes rooms / beds look bigger than they are. Rooms and back deck were all smaller than they look in pictures. Refrigerator stayed lukewarm at best, the upstairs bed and frame were broken and the downstairs sofa bed cannot be slept on. LIterally is like sleeping on metal bars. On a positive note, the neighborhood and beach are beautiful. I would suggest renting another home though in this neighborhood. Absolutely do not get what you pay for. If beds, kitchen, were updated, this would be a good place to stay for a family of 6 or less.

They don't clean the house so that your guests see a clean house when they arrive. There's supposed to be an inspection after the cleaners are done but either he doesn't show up or doesn't know what to look for. In our case there was food in the oven, a door was off the track, and two beds didn't look changed.

Stayed in one of their managed house recently and kicking myself for not reading Vacasa reviews before booking. MULTIPLE problems with the house and no one responds to help. Lesson learned! Stay away from this company. (I booked through VRBO)

Answer: It's a monster scam. Avoid at all costs. I've rented several properties that ended up going through Vacasa - despite my best efforts to avoid them. You can't find out that it's Vacasa until after they have your money. It's a criminal enterprise.
Answer: In my experience, construction is their "catch all" excuse for canceling. Follow up to verify that it was rented, but for higher fee.
