I ordered 5 items and was separated into two transactions. Used paypal for checkout and my bank credit card charged me 2 cash advance fees and interest. The cost of the items i bought more than doubled. Never again buy from aliexpress. Item was also more than a month shipping.

Be careful - Fraudsters!

Be careful. Dont buy anything you need within a certain time and dont buy for more money than you can afford to lose!

AliExpress claims to have Buyers Protection, but in fact its 100% false! Its a Sellers protection! When making a dispute after waiting months past the delivery date and therefore using the buyers protection because order has not arrived AliExpress refuse to help. They immediately just deny it without reading the claim and extend the period over and over again to protect the seller NOT the buyer! Even though you are entitled to refund they dont care. They refuse to help and always protect the seller at any cost! We lost too much money on this!

Buy from Wish instead. You can get all the same at roughly same prices and they actually will help you in such case!

Never had a problem in the past but my recent order was never received. The tracking information indicated it was delivered to my community mailbox but when i called the post office to launch an investigation they told me only the shipper (seller) could do that and they had to call. Having filed a dispute and letting the seller know that, aliexpress sided with the seller quoting 'i lacked proof'. I asked them if they wanted a picture of my empty hands and what further proof could i possibly provide but they closed the dispute and put a happy face sticker on it as being satisfactorily resolved. Perhaps they should change their name to 40 thieves as they seem to all work together and take no accountability. Shameful business practices.

They allow fraudulent sellers to post rubbish and often damaged or second hand product. A lot of the sellers are good but AliExpress seems to look after the seller first and buyer second with little to no purchase protection.
EBay is far safer.

Defected item not getting refund or replacement
February 25, 2023

Ordered a dash camera for my car. It came with a dead battery. Asked for refund or replacement and getting nowhere. Kept asking me to send a photo to prove it. How can a photo showing the battery is bad. End up very frustrated. My very first order from Aliexpress too. Would never buy anything again from them.

False advertising

Advertise Elixir strings but then sent me a message saying that the strings are "replicas" fake. If I don't mind. Those are there words.
Still trying to get a refund. No strings ever arrived.

Aliexpress charges consumers for orders, but when they don't deliver the items, they refuse to refund the money. When we order from Aliexpress with Choice Delivery, we expect a trustworthy and safe delivery of promised goods. We do not expect to pay for something that will never be delivered. Τhe required protection is not provided to the buyer, so the whole system is unsuitable for online shopping.

It's all fun and games until your item fails (and it will)!
Their business model seems to be: send cheap crap and when it fails (and it will) offer a refund only if you return the item. Shipping costs from Oz to China? The dispute center sucks and doesn't care. Well played!
Will I ever buy here again? Certainly not!

Multiple times paid for goods seller never sent. Dispute process complicated and you end up losing your money anyway since the seller has to agree to refund you even though Aliexpress says they will handle the dispute directly if you ship via Aliexpress. Completely fraudulent sellers and platform. They know it's too much trouble for you to dispute each item in an order.

I order from various of online shopping platforms, by far this is the worst of them all. After 12 months of going back and forth with them I simply gave up. But yet they were quick to take my money. I do not recommend anyone using this platform. If I could give them no stars I would. Unfortunately I have to give them at least one star to post this.

I have ordered multiple items but there deliveries were in different batches and some items were not delivered. It seems like a deliberate way not to deliver some items ordered. They may show items that you were looking for in their website at lower prices but what's the purpose of ordering and paying if delivery is unreliable?

Large selection of products. Good descriptions of the products. There are customer reviews. Buyer protection.
But:
No sorting by price+shipping, very much interferes with Eva in the lower right corner of the screen, messed up the Message Center - the old version was 1000 times more convenient.

Nice Jacket but needs some refinements

Very satisfied with this seller - very prompt in processing order and shipping

I like the jacket however the inner lining of the jacket is very lose and pulls away from shall and sleeves. I doubt it will last very long as it is becoming more droopy each time it is worn!

Also, the zipper does not operate smoothly and catches - it is not a good design, very poor quality.

If both issues were corrected, this would be an excellent item and a recommended product to purchase.

Untrusted e-commerce marketplace.

I have been purchasing from Aliexpress for about 2 years, most transactions are smooth, but also had some unbelievable disappointment.
I used to purchased an item from a seller but waited for 2 months still haven't received it, then I contacted the seller for tracking#, he refunded me immediately saying the item is out-of-stock, why this guy waited for 2 months and buyer's complaints to tell the truth?
Recently I made an order and again waited for 2 months still haven't received it, I have also contacted the seller many times but was told to check with the local delivery company myself, BTW, the tracking# is an invalid number when tracking from the website.

Horrible sit

It is truly a terrible site to purchase from. Customer care zero.
Sellers are allowed to send anything they want without any supervision. Imagine buying a shower door handle and receiving a hook instead and you have to confirm that it has been delivered before you can apply for refund...first picture is what I bought and the second is what I received and so far no resolution. I purchase a $180.00 product received a 10 cents hook for it

Shady business practices

I bought an item that advertised FREE returns. When I requested a refund I was told that it had to be reviewed. 20 days later I have had no response. FREE returns should be immediate with no need for reviews. All I get from customer service is a request has been sent up the chain of command.

Purchased a wholesale order of 250 earbuds. Made the payment in full. Received notification that only part of the order was shipped. Applied for an immediate refund for the products not shipped, although I wish the seller would have informed me of such before confirming the order. Got the partial refund.

Items on route to delivery shows it has been returned to the seller. Meaning, I never received anything. Been contacting AliExpress daily for an update. They said they need to 'investigate'. What is there to investigate? Their own tracking shows it was delivered to the seller. Now the purchase protection time is running out and they keep telling me I need to provide further information.

Scam company.

My account was hacked and somebody bought stuff for themselves.
I reported it after trying for hours to speak to a customer care representative... the session timed out without warning and the promised emails never came. They have now deleted my account.

They do not protect buyers. A month ago I started a claim for a fake product (128GB memories that are not), they received them back at the warehouse 3 weeks ago and they still haven't refunded my money back. Summarizing in 1 word: "scammers".
