Way too much risk. Sellers lie, packages don't arrive and getting them to stick to their "guarantees" is a nightmare.
They don't use normal carriers. They have cheesy companies that use random people to deliver.

They refuse to bring packages to indicated spots (even with large signs and arrows), and often leave them in vulnerable places to be stolen.

So many of the listings completely misrepresent their products. I have used them for about 6 months and I'm done.

I have been manufacturing goods for over 50 years and buying wholesale. I have never had SO much trouble. Packages never arrive, are missing products (one courier slashed open a package and took all of the gold items).

Update: I can't believe the ridiculous message I received below from them. In the last 2 weeks I have spent over 100 hours and over 130 emails, requests and replies over two orders from the same seller that never arrived while doing EXACTLY what their reply tells me to do. The seller has never responded at all, but AE customer "service" has lied multiple times in emails. In the same email sent dozens of times they have claimed that my package was BOTH delivered and held at customs.

1 star because i have to

So i ordered a hoodie from the November 30. Said 17 to 20 days for delivery. But guarantee it will be tphere on the 7th of January. Probably should have been my first clue. Nothing comes and on the 7th i file my "buyer protection" deal they supposedly have and it says 5 days and they will get back to me or ill get a refund. Well here it is January 23 and i still havent heard a word from them. And still no hoodie!

Oh brother. I have read the reviews. I just ordered two midriff tops from them so I guess I won't even see the product and even if it exists at all? Why are they letting these people get away with scaming us?! The damn internet is going to drive me to drinking (even more than I already do) because of all of the phoniness that is on here! Just give me my product and my results damn it! Now I am out of beer and cigarettes and I need to run out and get more! You don't know what to believe on the internet anymore because it is so full of scams, dogma and "looney toon" ideology!

I was no fan, I must confess, because of the gossip going around and so, with the rumours upfront poisening my mind I, secretly I admit, peaked into the website and... I was lost! So very manny and so very different articles, so much articles for my hobbies and so much articles I already put on my list waiting for the moment I will win the lottery. Because yes, Ali has items I can purchase now with my little budget and, very expensive items, waiting for me for the moment ( never to come I fear) I will be rich. And all as nice as I expect items I want to purchase are.
The only reason I do not rate 5 stars is I find it kind of difficult to find my way along the website. But maybe that is because of my age and for you, younger people this will be no problem. Well, you can rate the 5 then.

Aliexpress makes disputing a received item impossible. I got two MP3 players, neither of which had a battery that could take a charge a d neither of which could sync with iTunes. After filling out the request for refund, it was required that I provide VIDEO EVIDENCE of the defect.

The other avenue is to correspond with the Aliexpress robot. You might as well be corresponding with a penguin.

I just got my aliexpress account closed because I subited several disputes since i never i received items i bough in december 2016 so after 3 months and go back and forth with the sellers and their not working tracking numbers, aliexpress costumer services decided to closed my account and i never received any refund, what i found is that all the tracking numbers only get as far as china clearance export point and that's it i was never able to track them in canada post website.
I'm not planning to buy anything again from aliexpress since i found their buyers protection a flat lie.
I couldn't even contact the costumer service again

Untrusted app

I had bad experiences with this app. There are untrusted sellers, when buy things they replace them with other things and sometimes duplicated the price and the shipment fees when you pay! In this case the sellers never respond to you and the dispute never works! And when you try to give them a one-star-rate the app takes you out! It is a trap not app!

Dont buy anything they dont refund if lost your money in the site. 90%seller are fraud.
See the below image they fish you
If you aprove you are finished all your money becomes their money.
Dont trust them and see imge you understand how cunning they are.and they agree too they are cunning i marked in red

Anytime I see ERICDRESS having more stars than Aliexpress it's piss me off. Aliexpress is the best website for people to shop online. I've always received my items and when I don't, I have my full refund back. Don't fall for the negative comments this website is trustable but be careful with Ericdress because they are the same ones rating their business by adding stars so they can steal more money from people.

NO REFUNDS!

I bought a pair of cycling shoes, before I bought them I made sure the chart they show was matching with my size, but apparently not. I was trying to exchange but they didn't let me and no refund because I didn't send valid proof. What proof should I send for a small size? They make it so hard to not give you a refund and they didn't. The 3rd party company is called TAAAA
Horrible experience to deal with them. They also send messages that cannot be well understood.

Ordered few products received on two of them so far both are fake and when tried to return wants evidence where I offered to return the products no response and they leave Robot to answer your problem and when I asked for live person no response I know it was a biggest mistake to buy from them many hundreds of dollar went down the drain but if people read the review please avoid them thanks

Most of the sellers on Aliexpress are honorable and go out of their way to help but in last few months have had orders thaat have been frozen and seen some great products on sale but weeks after buying you get a message from seller saying sorry we r out of stock even though u have paid the money when ordering the item Eventually u may get money back but not exactly what u paid This has become very frustrating of late.

Don't waste your time

I bought $9 of defective electronics and have descended into a nightmarish vortex of escalating disputes. AliExpress have sided with the vendor, insisting I post more and more elaborate video evidence that the goods - which plain do no work - are faulty. For NINE DOLLARS, they think I would lie about this. It's idiotic and despite some good buying experiences in the past, there is no way I will go near AliExpress again.

PLEASE be aware of Queen Fashion Hair Co., LTD aka Grace Wang. I purhcased a heavy or 180% density unprocessed brazilian virgin hair lace front wig. I received a 130% density wig, I'm not sure what type of hair. Grace assured me she would take care of my concern if I returned the unit. When I asked for mailing instructing she decided instead of me mailing the unit she would send additional hair bundles if I gave her site a good rating, which I did before gettng the bundles. What a ruse. I received the unit in Dec. 2013, I have not received the bundles as promised. Grace Wang will not reply to my emails. The unit I received was a waste of money. I have order from another supplier Bliss Wig, no complaints. Stay away for Grace Wang aka Queen Fashion Hair Co LTD.

FULL ON SCAM!

FULL ON SCAM! Bought a dress, which looked nothing like I had ordered, and wanted to return it. Had some communication with someone named Amy Zahn in 'customer service', but since I had requested a refund, which she offered, I have heard nothing back.
So so far, I am stuck with an ugly dress and out money.
Anytime I see their merchandise come up on a site, ie Pinterest, I will be making the buyer aware they are dirty

I bought a "high neck" bathing suit online. I received a VERY low neck bathing suit that shows half my boobs! When I tried to go about returning the item, I went on their website to look up my order and it says I have NO ORDERS! But I received the item and there is a charge on my credit card for it! This website is a SCAM! I called my CC company and disputed the charge. They credited me back and will do an investigation.

I didn't get my product i made a dispute then appeal then i contact with customer service 6 times they all said they were going to handle it but nothings changed. And i know according to your stupid database carrier has the item but not they have destroyed it i have proved it to every customer services but all they said to me it's my top priorty today. But after that nothings changed i am going to loose my mind. I will sue you all until i get my money back. I am so angry to this stupid aliexpress.

It's been 3 months. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Satin rattail cord

Do not order this cord. They claim it is 1mm, but I currently use this size cord from another supplier. It is not the size they claim it is. It's a real hassle to get some resolve, since it is shipped from China. BEWARE!

I ordered a speaker and when i got it it didn't have sound. They asked me to prove my dispute with pictures so i couldn't show them with pictures that the speaker didn't have sound. I tried to make a video and they didn't answered back and i lost my dispute and money just like that.
