Aliexpress and the sellers I've come across are extremely dishonest.

I searched for some much needed items. Filtering for shipping within the United States. Sure enough China based sellers pop up with product ads prominently displaying a USA flag. You are given the option to select "from the United States" in your check out.

Doing due diligence, I contacted 5 different sellers, asking where in the United States the products came from. In all 5 cases, they absolutely avoided answering honestly. Most used copy and paste responses. I asked several times. None would answer.

So I decided to make one small purchase. 5.98 shipping. Upon checkout, I get tracking information. What shipping company? I have no idea. It's a Chinese shipper. 17 days for arrival.

Now the seller won't reply to my questions about thier lies.

Now I take my documentation to Aliexpress... messages to and from myself and the sellers. Screen shots showing USA based shipping. Thier response? Basically "tough" and, "we sure to look into your seriousness complaint".

The sellers know they are lying. Aliexpress knows they are lying.

Zero ethics. Zero caring. Typical.

My advice. Juat stay away.

BUYER BEWARE
March 9, 2017

Last week's orders just over £150 everything went fine payment excepted all ok. This week asking for photo of driving licence. Photo of bank card, photo of bank statement & photo of passport.
I am now calling it a day with Aliexpress.
Don't trust them anymore - this is private information which should not be passed onto them, especially photos of your bank card.
Looks like they are trying to scam people.
DON'T SEND PERSONAL INFORMATION OR UPLOAD ANY TO THIS SITE.
BUYER BEWARE

Refuse to Refund for items not recieved

Update: They have no customer service phone number to call. So, I contacted them through the chat service. I explained the situation. I was told to go to the dispute summary. Then the representative on the chat disconnected. No solution. After several days of messaging back and forth and sending them pictures of the packages I received along with their proof of delivery with the weight high lighted to prove the packages contained different items. Then contacting my credit card company. The seller finally agreed to refund me for the items I did not receive.
I placed an order for 2 Six foot folding tables and 6 packages containing 4 folding chairs each. I received the 2 tables. The next day I received 3 packages of the chairs. I contacted the seller to let them know there were 3 missing packages. The Seller says there is only one missing package, and they refuse to refund for the other 2 missing packages. They sent me pictures of the items delivered. They are trying to say the 2 tables were packages of chairs when the delivery pictures clearly show different packaging. I guess I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

Worst experiece ever! Great way to still from customers. I ordered a dress and instead i received a halloween costume that cost me $112.00. At the beggining Nancy Xie was very helpful until i told her that i was dissapointed with the dress (halloween costume) that she sent. Its been 4 months since the transaction took place and she has not returned my money, i returned the ugly dress and she never sent the money that i paid. Aliexpress is false advertisement. I could have bought a real dress in KMART. Pls dont trust Aliexpress. I even sent her my measure. Pls take a look at the pictures that I posted.

I am stopping AliExpress myself because of too many rip offs and AliExpress arbitration seems to side with seller no matter what evidence is submitted; ( spent about $1000 us there in the last 3 months but too many disputes now. The dispute process lists "System" as giving the arbitration response in seller's favor so seems that its automated to seller's behalf even though multiple evidence was submitted multiple times proving my case and the seller's evidence was extremely lacking in credibility (a postal LIST of shipping weight with prices circled in red around the one they said was my ship weight.). I sent the actual package picture with the postal label indicating the 10x less weight than what the seller claimed and some items were missing from my order. No refund unless I return shipment... how can I return what I didn't receive? They also made it clear that if the package didn't reach them for any reason what so ever including lost in shipping... No refund. It's really a shame because there were also legitimate sellers that sent good products but with no way for me to know which ones I have lost almost $150 now and really can't afford to is why I was buying from them in the first place. The sellers promise to refund if you leave good feedback as well so really feedback can't even be trusted because it could be just some poor person trying to get their money back.

I used Ali-epxress for the first time recently to purchase a lcd screen cover plate for my Lenovo laptop.
Everything seemed above-board until I didn't receive it. I used paypal to make the purchase thinking if anything went wrong, I'd surely have some recourse. Well, no big-surprise, the item never was delivered. Here's where the fun really begins - try navigating the Ali-epxress customer complaints resource pages - I'm sure it's fine if you speak some chinese, but I do not.
In frustration I filed a complaint with Paypal. After about a week, I rec'd a message from paypal that they sided with the vendor as the they had provided information that the item was delivered.
I can tell you that it was never delivered, have tracking info proving it wasn't and the courier information provided by ali-express vendor doesn't operate in my country. All I can say is buyer beware and I would think twice about spending any of your hard-earned cash to Aliexpress - too many scammers out there, not regulated and no buyer protection.

My experience has been all "very positive". Recognize that aliexpress only introduces you to thousands of different sellers in Asia. THEY are not the supplier for any of the goods and only facilitate the items for sale. Naturally items shipped take time... they are ordered from Asia and shipped to what ever your mailing address is.
I have ordered over 90 things from Aliexpress and shipped to Canada. If ever there was a problem, it was because I did not read the instructions myself. The sellers I have ordered from were more than accommodating when it came to questions. That is not to say you cannot run into a poor one when ordering from such a large catalogue of suppliers.
All of the vendors are interested in selling their goods and most importantly relying on a positive review, which in turn, motivates them to give the best possible service they can.
Aliexpress has allowed me the opportunity to own some items I probably wouldn't buy here because of the cost factor.
The most helpful advice I can give is to try them for yourself... read the descriptions very well and be patient for it's arrival.
Probably sooner than later our government will create a way to stop or increase the cost of these goods to get their share, so I would act now while the going is still good!

Don't use these scumbags. They will randomly close down your account with no reason given and no way to access your money. Chinese scammers.
Use Amazon or Ebay instead.

Must be prepared to wait 2-3 months for shipping and know you're getting cheap products. Some things are worth it, you have to be willing to take a chance

In over 4 years of orders from Aliexpress only twice there were slight problems which Aliexpress intervened and solved quickly. No problems for me and I will keep ordering.

I strongly recommend not to buy anything expensive from there. Can be a fraud, can have lots of quality issues or can get lost. Ofc its possible to open disputes, but those are sometimes non-helpful.

Guess you get what you pay for! Cheap! Yup, it's cheapy alright! Often it's fake home made products. I can sew my clothes better than what they sent me. Yuck! And bleeding fabric material too!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE, (Jaeden Bridal to be exact) my gf getting married ordered bridesmaids dresses. We received the first dress and then decided to get the other 7 for he rest of the bridal party. Linda, of Jaeden Bridal sent us 7 dresses in a completely different shade to the first. GROSS! When we enquired about a refund, she tried to con us by offering to make a "free dress" to match the other 7 WRONG dresses she sent! HOW FRICKEN RUDE! So now claims we are not entitled to a refund as we have gone past some stupid deadline for claiming refunds! If you don't want any additional hassle during wedding plans or any events, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!
