You get hwat you pay for and this site is no exception, i have over 200 transactions and a few larger buys like 3 smart phones etc, one of my phones was faulty on arrival, the wifi did not work and it kept restarting over again. "buyer protection" is a load of $#*!. When i flagged this faulty product (over $200) to aliexpress they BANNED ME SAYING I WAS ABUSING THE BUYER PROTECTION SYSTEM - what the actual $#*!. I am a good customer $#*! these stupid nips everything they sell is rubbish, never again

Ordered my daughter's Shark Costume almost 30 days before Halloween. I came to find out the package did not get delivered because they had input an INCORRECT mailing address. When I requested a refund, they said to contact the shipping company - USPS. After more than 30 mins on the phone, they said they couldn't release my package or arrange local pickup because they couldn't verify my address so the package would need to be sent back to the shipper. AliExpress WILL NOT issue a refund, so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. WILL NEVER EVER ORDER anything from AliEXPRESS AGAIN. Such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERIOD!

Communicating with the seller was very prompt and efficient, however, getting someone from Aliexpress was impossible. Aliexpress debited my credit card, THEN cancelled the order! They then direct the buyer to a site which asks for, GET THIS: copies of my credit card, PASSPORT, and credit card statement in order to continue with the transaction. ARE THEY KIDDING! All in the name of "risk controlling". Firstly, it's a huge identity theft risk for us buyers, as well as being highly illegal to ask for such information. Unfortunately, I dropped ALL business with the seller, explaining I would never, and neither should they, go through a company like this.
Sent me a fake bike rack for my Super73. It's too small for the frame and they refuse to refund my money. Said they would but want me to send the part back to CHINA on my dime.

I purchased dance shoes in January. I received a message the order was "complete" but hadn't received the product. It took me almost 2 weeks to get a response from them (going back and forth) and you WOULD NOT BELIEVE THEIR PATHETIC RESPONSES! If people ran businesses like this they'd all be bankrupt! First, they gave me a Canada Post number which was not in service. Than, they asked me to track the package with no tracking number... I finally got one. When I did, that too "did not exist". I explained it all to them... THEIR RESPONSE... ARE YOU READY? Call the Post Office and Complain - we sent the product so it's not our fault?!?! Are they for real? I paid for a product I didn't receive, with no valid tracking number, and they don't give a ****? Anyways, my credit card company reversed the charges but PLEASE BEWARE! They don't deserve your business
Aliexpress is the best of all shipping equipment, world wide, From using Aliexpresss for over 2 years now i haven't encountered any problems. The online store is wonderful
The seller's are unwilling to actually return/refund items, so they wiggle out of it and hide behind Aliexpress' useless dispute system. Everything is fine if your order arrives, is as you expect and works as intended but if not, then don't expect a refund or a return to be arranged. The dispute system is ridiculous and closes without you being able to do anything further. There is no way of communicating with Aliexpress or getting them to properly oversee the complaint. They have a stupid bot helper, which is just a terrible FAQ loop. The upshot is that the sellers just want your money without any customer service and Aliexpress couldn't care less about it. Sellers consistently break Trading Standards laws and think they are untouchable. Only place orders with Aliexpress where you are prepared for the item not turning up/being rubbish and you not being able to get any money back.
Aliexpress won't use Paypal which would at least offer buyers some protection in the event that orders are unsatisfactory.
Aliexpress also need to improve the review system, sellers are putting up fake positive feedback to make poor products look better. Don't trust the Aliexpress review system!
I have tried to order from Ali Express. Orders time out, and then I never receive them. No refund, as they keep telling me that the orders are coming, but they never do. DO NOT ORDER FROM ALIEXPRESS. TOTAL SCAM. Don't waste your money.

By far, the worst shopping experience I have ever had. After waiting for three weeks for my order, the wrong item arrived. I contacted the buyer and was told that the item I ordered and paid for will be shipped to me if I place an additional order. When I refused, I was asked to pay the freight fees of the item I already paid for. When I refused to do that as well the buyer informed me that the item will not be shipped to me unless I leave a positive feedback in advance. Yeh, right, and I am suppose to trust that…When I tried to complain to AliExpress, I encountered a bunch of useless automated systems and forms to fill out. End results: Shenzhen Weiyi Fashion Gift has my money and I am left with an item I can not use.

I even asked aliexpress to ask seller to send replacement for damaged parcel but they said they cannot force the seller and they already sent my funds to seller.
