After shopping for this item I chose AliExpress because the price was good plus the listing stated "Free Shipping" and "No Tax," but the moment I purchased I was charged shipping and tax. I tried multiple times to contact the seller through AliExpress but got nowhere with the AliExpress website. I received my item but I feel ripped off and lied to.

I buy from AliExpress all of the time and I am usually very happy with what I receive. But recently I've received my orders and the orders were either "not as described" or priced too high for what I bought. On the one that I felt was too high, I purchased an aromatherapy bracelets for $6 each which is more than I usually spend on anything from Aliexpress. I left a poor review because they should cost a wholesaler like me $2-$3. They have tried to bribe me with $5.00 to change my review. I declined, They keep emailing me. Now they have told me to never shop there again. Ok. The other order was a ring that looked silver with a little black in the cracks, I received it and it is almost completely black - intentionally. I emailed the sell, he apologized and asked me to change my review, i won't but at least he put on pictures that showed how black it really is. Regarding clothes, I have only purchased a few things and they are beautiful! They are sewn together well, they are exactly like the picture, gorgeous, and they are American sized. I wear a 4 in the USA but ordered a Medium in the dress and then realized when I received it it was American sized and I could have gone with an S. One seller of the clothes that I bought is "Dot Fashion" and the other store is "Ethnic Clothing Store" Be careful and know that some of the stuff you ordered is not going to be as good as you think it should be, and some of your orders will exceed your expectations.

Rip Off

I ordered 2 swords for my grandson in October for Christmas, they never arrived. When I called for a refund they stated that the items were in customs in Chicago and it was my responsibility to retrieve them? I live in Tucson, Az. I lost $120.00. DO NOT USE THIS SITE FOR ANYTHING!

AliExpress is NOT SAFE. Their 'Buyer Protection' is NOT REAL. If you buy from them, you may get your item, but you may also loose your money with no real recourse.

In my case the items never arrived. The USPS tracking info clearly showed that the items were never revived from the international carrier, and therefor never delivered to me. I went through claims process, providing detailed links, screenshots and information. The seller refused the claim, saying I should contact he Post Office. On appeal to the so called 'Buyer Protection', they summarily denied the claim, with no real explanation or opportunity for me to respond. I contacted customer service, which was a drawn out ordeal over chat (the only option). The chat took almost and hour as they are really slow, and I could not leave my computer since the session times out every 3 minutes if you do not keep clicking to keep it alive. In the end the woman said she would put in a request for a refund. I then quickly got another e-mail saying I was not getting a refund and I should 'contact the post office'.

So, the site is legitimate, in that you may receive real items. But its is NOT SAFE - if anything goes wrong AliExpress is not interested in making it right. Be prepared to LOOSE YOUR MONEY.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding from Ali Express and waited twice as long as expected to get it. First off the color was not at all what I expected, but even that I could have accepted but it was way too tight, uncomfortably so. I normally wear a size 8 so a US size 10 should have been fine. I could barely zip it up and forget trying to sit. But the worst was there was no inserted bra, instead there was heavy padding all throughout the torso going up to the bust area so it made you look like you had no bust at all and it was very heavy in that area and made it hotter to wear. The rest was fine, if they had just left out the padding in front and put a proper bra insert in it would have been fine. It wasn't until after I got this one that I actually went to a store that sold mother of bride dresses and realized the difference in the quality. And all their dresses had inserted bras. They may be a little more money but well worth it as far as I'm concerned. The picture of the dress attached is their model.

I have only purchased from them once, it was a set-top-box machine, and I totally satisfied with it. It took 4 days to reached in my doorstep, after I made the transaction from their website. Great packaging, bubble wrapped and everything, and package come in complete condition. The machine still working until today, and it open all channels in my home cable tv, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Well, you really have to be 1000% sure when you purchase from them. Here are some tips:
- Always look for number of reviews given by buyer. Never buy from supplier without any review.
- If you can't wait forever for their free shipping by Hongkong/China Post then choose to ship by EMS/DHL/UPS.
- And talk to their Contact person before you purchased from them, especially for expensive stuff.
Most of their item are knock-off but it's cheap. Anyway most of electronic devices are made in china nowadays, so before you buy, look for reviews, do some research, and be 100% sure when you click that Buy Now button.

I bought books

I bought books, phone case, enamel pins, acrylic standees, washi tapes, etc.

You can't really track your order with the free delivery option (i'm not sure if you can track your order if you pay the shipping fee). The delivery can be quite long, from 2 weeks to 2.5 months.

Some merchants sell their products at a very cheap price, but they don't offer free shipping and the shipping fee is ridiculously expensive. That's because they gain profit from the shipping fee instead.

There are a lot of counterfeit products. Even though Aliexpress says they prohibit counterfeit goods, they won't ban the sellers that sell counterfeits as long as the seller blatantly let you know that the goods they are selling are bootlegs (one look at the picture and you should know that it is a bootleg).

Once, i bought a counterfeit book without knowing it was a counterfeit because most of the reviews say that it is an original book. Can't blame them though, the book quality is good for a counterfeit. Later, i managed to get a refund from aliexpress after i filed a complaint and gave them my evidences (comparing the bootleg book and the original book).

Also, not everything here is cheap, so you have to know how much a product is worth actually. Don't be stupid.

In conclusion, if you have no problem with late delivery, counterfeit goods, and spending more time/effort in finding trusted sellers, then everything is good.

The sellers are not trusted or verified, if you claim your money back for a bad order they might block your account, you have no customer care agents or emails or contact. If they block you ( which I never heard before anywhere else after I paid them thousands of $ over 2 years), you can not get in touch with anyone there. I have an active order right now that was never delivered and the site blocked me. I can not email anyone they DO NOT HAVE A HUMAN EMAIL OF CUSTOMER CARE. They have robots answers in help center which I couldn't get through anyone human.
Most of the orders are not matching the description, overpriced goods since a year ago.

Great Site!

I just recently purchased alot of cosplay items off this site and before i purchased my items i was able to talk to the customer service rep from the company i was purchasing from.

That made my whole process very easy and i feel like i will very happy with my purchases. I've ordered of other sites that say strive for 100% customer service and satisfaction like EZCOSPLAY but trust me they don't! Check out my EZCOSPLAY review and you'll know why. I will ONLY EVER buy from Aliexpress.com in the furture, because trust is the most important thing here.

Once my order arrives i will revisit this review, but so far they have exceeded my expectations.

Where "in the past" it was nice to buy a nice gadget or product for little money, nowadays it is a collection of junk (defective) and products that regularly do not arrive. The frustration that you receive a product that does not work after 6 weeks of waiting is bad enough. Then you have to make a dispute and film with your smartphone and show or hear what is missing. Then you are at the mercy of the ali express gods whether the proof is good enough. And if you succeed hope that the costs of sending the package back is not too high.

Also in this case. So I created a dispute, defined what the problem is, added evidence. That was sufficient enough for the supplier to offer an alternative product. We worked on that until Ali rejected the dispute. I motivated again and also stated that the supplier and I already had an agreement in principle. Refused again (without further reason). Eventually, but appealed and that was also rejected. Now, however, with the motivation that there was no convincing evidence.
Why not convincing evidence and why is it not shown sooner or is it not communicated. Then you are nicely finished. So I too. To order more than 150 it is time to say goodbye. Goodbye Ali..
