I not-so-recently (three months ago) ordered three little bookcases from a seller on AliExpress... One out of three arrived. It was busted, poorly packaged, and had big globs of glue visible on it that the seller could clearly see before choosing to send this to me... The other two did not arrive. I was waiting patiently, wondering where they were and why they were not sent together in one package with the one I did get. Instead of ever getting the other two bookcases -- or any useful, actual real information about them -- I got a notice that they had been marked as delivered when they had not been. The 'dispute' process is highly questionable! I had to tell them why my items had not been delivered -- as if I would have any idea -- and only out of a drop-down menu that didn't describe my situation accurately in any of the choices! I also had to upload a photo or video -- but of what should that be? Empty space? The place where the item is not? I currently have no way to upload a photo or video, anyway! I wrote that in the description and the final decision came seconds later, so it makes me doubt that a human ever looked at this to begin with, or that it was read or understood if actually looked at... I have definitely thankfully had far better experiences with other sellers on AliExpress, so it is unfortunate AliExpress has these policies that could potentially hurt those other sellers when a customer chooses to discontinue their businesses with AliExpress as a whole because of their terrible 'dispute' policies!
4 months ago I ordered a huge bundle of lashes from them. I waited two months and never received them. The seller claimed my lashes were delivered when they never were. They stole my money. My dumb self decided to give them another chance and bought more lashes from a different seller. This purchase was made in MARCH. It is now JUNE and my package is not here. On the delivery information it has a countdown for how much time the seller has to deliver it to me. Every time those days and hours are up, and my package should be delivered, the app just adds and extra 30 days to my delivery time. This is absolutely ridiculous. The seller is not being cooperative. And How many fu*kin months do they expect me to wait for my package. When I check the package it says "order complete". I can't even confirm that I have received the goods or in my case, that I have not received them. The app says the delivery is complete because this is the day my package SHOULD be here. But it is not. AliExpress steals your money don't trust them.
Lies lies lies lies! Over a month and still no delivery. I have no clue where my shipment is. The trscking says in transit for a month. Plus weeks before that for it to be shipped. When i originally ordered it i was told 6 to 8 weeks. HA! BEWARE!" SCAMMERS AND SCUMBAGS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I have the CORRECT address listed in my account. Two orders I made were shipped to the WRONG address because the shippers added numbers to the address. Result? NO REFUNDS NO PARTS BECAUSE THE SHIPPERS SCREWED UP. Thanks for Nothing Ali Express! In fact, I PAID for nothing.
I am extremely disappointed at the customer support service of Aliexpress. The team that are supposed to check the refund request cases one by one and on evidence base, seem to just use an automatic answering email for my requests without even considering the evidence uploaded.
With a screen recorder i proved that when i search the Track and Trace code of the package, the post office website shows that my combined package is sent back to China.
I showed them that the shipping address was incomplete and lacked house number, that was why the package was never delivered.
Still I get "invalid" refund request.
This is the most unfriendly and dishonest website I have ever bought anything from. Though I have been a customer for a long time, I have never faced such an issue. But the level of cooperation and help one get while in need of support is the indicator of the service provided by the website.

Never use it! I purchased a LG vacuum battery (>$136) from its website, and the battery did not fit. I immediately contacted the seller Xinenjue on the day I received the battery and showed them the picture according to their request. They just refused to let me return it until I showed them the design defect of their battery compared to the original one. Until then XinenJue apologized and agreed to let me return. However, they refused to pay for the shipping cost. After a long argument, they agreed to pay for shipping. But after I shipped it using USPS flat shipping, XinenJue refused to pay for the shipping cost $44, saying the shipping cost was too high. Now two months later, I haven't got a penny back. The return was stuck in customs, and Xinenjue said it was because I did not provide their phone number(which I was not given before the return). According to Xinenjue's request, I contacted USPS, but USPS said they could not add additional information unless this was a priority or express mail. I cannot waste my time with them anymore, I asked for a refund and accepted the shipping lost $44 myself. Still not being solved. If you want to go through these troubles, order from Aliexpress then.
I would absolutely NEVER order anything through AliExpress again. Nearly 6 months ago I ordered a product, thinking that it was worth the risk since, after all AliExpress would hold the payment in their "escrow" account until I let them know that I was happy with the sale. The product arrived defective. The company wanted me to ship it back to China by DHL -- more than $100 to send back a $180 product. So, I said that was unreasonable, and filed a request for refund, and posted an photo of the product clearly showing the defect. I then waited through nearly 6 months. In the end, I got back $50, because AliExpress said that I had not provided sufficient evidence. What a joke. Do NOT think that AliExpress and its "escrow" service are any help at all. The company was selling junk, was absolutely not willing to work to solve the problem, and AliExpress was only interested in helping out the company, not actually providing protection for the buyer, as they claim. And, they seem to have gotten interest-free use of my money for 6 months. STAY AWAY.
Do not buy items that are expensive, review reviews and make sure it is not the only item for sale, NEVER BUY FROM A SELLER THAT HAS JUST ONE ITEM FOR SALE! Verify store!

Your customer service is really ridiculous, I purchase one item but it wasn't fitted well and I asked for exchange but they ask me to keep the item and they will offer me 2 USD in my next purchase, I was happy at the moment. Then now when I'm planning to buy an item they are trying not to give my credit. Instead they said give 5 star then they will issue 1 USD, this is really really unacceptable. Usually packages arrive to me from 7 days to 20 days
The package arrived to the post and the post didn't bring it to me because as i think there is a problem with it
And above this aliexpress sent me a mail that i must pay for returning the item

QUALITY: Products are bad quality and always not fits my size and the prices are too expensive.
SHIPPING: always takes about 30-40 days i can't wait all that time.
I prefer to buy from near stores, products almost cheap or same prices like china and i earn time, time and exact my size.

I have tried AliExpress, DHGate and some similar sites. AliExpress is hands down the best. I have been using them about 2 years now and I've made roughly 35 orders.
I've bought two formal dresses on the site for much lower costs than anything local. The quality was still great, esp. When I see "Made in China" on all the local shop tags. You are getting the same products for way less! The only caveat for buying clothes is to READ THE MEASUREMENTS. Remember, these are typically sized for Asian bodies, so if you are a US size L, you may need an XXL. Some stores do size in US sizes, or they list as "Plus" size, which is more like size M-L for US, but it's not hard to find many options once you learn the keywords to search.
I've bought cute tote bags for my mom and grandma, adorable best friend necklaces, galaxy pendants, some cute funky looking sweaters... very cool gift ideas and many things I hadn't seen here in the US, so it makes my gifts more unique.
If you're buying for an event, make sure you buy in advanced. Shipping can take up to 6 weeks sometimes, but I think it's worth the low price.
I've had 2 disputes in the past and AliExpress resolved them quickly. In once case I bought 3 pairs of tights and 1 pair was too small and long. I took a photo of all 3 side by side to show they weren't the same size, and they ended up giving me a refund for that one pair but let me keep. So I gave those to my sister who is petite sized.
Also, AliExpress cancelled an order once when they suspected the buyer was a scam. So I appreciate that they look out for you. I always suggest this site to friends.
I ordered a few items from Ali Express. I like the huge selection they have due to the number of sellers that offer their items for sale. However, a couple of things are not that great. First of all, it takes at least a month for items to arrive. If one has the time to wait, then fine. Secondly, the quality is sometimes not the greatest, but since it took a month to get the product here, and since shipping would cost more than the item itself, the trashcan might be the best solution there. The third thing is that I had an item stating that it was delivered but I never received it. It states that it never arrived but they make you wait and wait. A month after the alleged delivery date a claim was filed. The seller offered zero refund as he stated the item was delivered. I requested 100% refund. Ali Express determines that we didn't come to a solution, closed the case and released the funds to the seller. Hmmm... not sure what to do with this. It was an item under $10, but I really don't like that I'm just out money for nothing. That is awful customer "protection". And lastly, one has to be careful with the pricing. I always check it against Amazon, where many Chinese wholesalers sells their items as well. Oftentimes I see the items at the same price or even less on Amazon. And let's face it: Amazon has fabulous customer service and protection!
