I order clothes. When I ordered items after July they charge VAT due to new EU law. I order from warehouse shipping from Netherlands. I live in the EU. Ali still keep the tax after I request it back. Uploaded all the proof to them. What do you call people like this? Customer support, These guys are very poor at communication, they don't understand and add to the frustration. There is no point naming the shop as they no longer trading.

Factory Wholesale-M - WARNING! Stay away from this seller. Sells counterfeit goods, I got hoodies with flaws in the design. My mistake was not opening a dispute immediately. Was hoping that seller was honest but NO,. He does not take responsibility for his mistakes. Instead, he likes to throw insults. I tried upload the photos on the site but they did not show. They are show below. (Great news, this seller is not longer trading. Good riddance)

Too many short term pop up scammer stores on this site. The site doesn't have a proper customer service. No reply to emails, all ignored. No phone number. Sell items that break easily.

Ordered a TV box in early November, tracking number said posted on 15/11 then said left China on 18/11 and then 2 weeks later shows as ARRIVED at the local depot in CHINA and was sent by plane next day 2nd December and haven't heard from it since, it's now 20/12 and still in China, contacted seller told "it's stuck in customs" then "check your post office" then "tracking is incorrect" all a scam, also ordered some cheap stocking fillers for Christmas few weeks later and they arrived in 3/4 Weeks, no point complain to ALLIEXPESS no matter what they will take sellers side, l now use a site called WISH you might pay an extra $ for shipping but at least they have up to date tracking and are much, much faster. ALLIEXPESS is nothing but a scam STAY AWAY

AliExpress is A JOKE. On April 01,2014 I ordered a $135.00 lace Front Wig that's called 2014 Milky way Fancy And I Never had gotten my wig. This Company Called AliExpress NEVER SENT MY ORDERED. They said shipping time would be only 5-7 bussiness days. Now Today is April 25,2014 Friday & I HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY ORDERED. DARN I WANT MY ITEM THAT I PAID FOR. THIS COMPANY IS WRONG WRONG WRONG. THE FAKE TELEPHONE NUMBER DON'T & I Mean Do NOT WORK. ALIEXPRESS COMPANY IS QUICK TO CHARGE YOUR MONEY

I'd give zero if there was an option to do so!
I spent so many weeks obeying a Cranky seller on aliexpress. I was given the same to same statement each time that,"normal time please be patient."
My experience with other sources has never been like this. Sellera offer a refund or we negotiate and come to an agreement without opening disputes. I opened a dispute, aliexpress took a week to just INTERVENE. When intervention happened, they emailed saying they're looking at my case. Seriously? Almost TWO MONTHS I keep calling the post in accordance with the seller's request but he took it way too far today. He refused to negotiate, he did not inform me that items don't ship to my type of address but kept quiet. I sent solid evidence of the tracking clearly stating the item has been unsuccessfully delivered but he ignored and sent me the same damn thing in Chinese and told me,"wait till 16 days of protection are over."
Heh? Then we argued he told me no now wait for seniors to close dispute ThankYou.
I asked him to refund(with two solid evidences, but he ignored).
I asked for half refund even though it's unfair on me, he refused and called me a malicious buyer and said that he won't keep calm since I'm constantly following up on refund and that he is not at fault even a bit.
Thief he is. I uninstalled the app and told him to stop being so rude. My first and last purchase.

Sticking to Amazon and eBay.

I've been a constant buyer from Aliexpress for a year now. The site has gotten more strict on sellers so expect that currently almost all of them are legit. I used the term "almost" as there are still few unethical sellers out there that may scam you but it does'nt happen too often as compared to the one in iOffer (my god dont get me started on this one)

But anyway, it's best to review the seller stores first before purchasing anything. Some of these shops sells really cheaply made items but at least they deliver on time. Nvtheless, if you are really meticulous on your purchase in this site its best to look at reviews first from their previous buyers to know beforehand the type of product you are about to buy.

Always remember that if they are selling brand name products (adidas, nike, LV, etc) and their store only has below 100 items to sell and its a new store, its a fraud! No doubt! So be really careful. Another way to make sure the seller is legit is to chat / message them beforehand, if they respond to you in a non suspicious way, you could say they are legit.

The chat customer service on the app is below average because they cant speak english well enough for english speaking users but that's fine. If you cancel an order and claim a dispute they will surely refund you with their buyer protction program. I had cancelled one order from a shady seller and reported it on their end, i was refunded back my money in 7 days.

I've been buying lots of random stuff on Ali in the past 2 years. I had 3 refunds because items were never recieved and they returned money. Everything elsw which I ordered (bracelets, watches, stickers, dpg clothes, jewelery, glasses, christmas stuff, baloons, disney stuff). Everything came within 30days and it was ok. I bought even decoration for my bachelorete party and wedding decorations and it was ok. So from me 5+ for them. Serbia, europe

Have ordered fromseveral venders, my experience initially was great but begin to fall off when i begin to order clothing and electronic items. Sellers sending busted and nonfunctional speakers and not refunding or replacing payment, delivery time well past the deadline of 40 days, very poor communication from seller and no one to file a complaint to. They have a dispute site but no matter how wrong the seller is, the seller always prevails.On two occasions i've recieved items that i didn't order, (fake Beats by Dr. Dre cannister speakers and earplug speakers) Why are they allowed to vend bogus products like Dr Dre Beats, Nike, Sean John. This site shouldn't exist, I was pleased with it until i recieved my first knock off, but this isn't right.

I'd a very bad experience with my recent purchases of two orders. At first it appeared overwhelming, but it was after my two purchases, I was cheated. I bought a phone worth 220 $, vide order No. ************** which was already faulty, volume and power buttons non-functional, bandwidth incompatible, wifi MAC continuously changing. I had to plug in the charger or make a call to wake up the phone. My complaints were never entertained. Aliexpress has no control over its sellers after purchase, even if they know that the customer has been cheated. They just communicate and give time after time. The seller asks me send back the item through SG Post or China Post, which is nowhere located in India. The seller refrains me to send it through DHL, ITES, Fed-ex courier, however they are ready. The same has also been reported to Aliexpress. My grievance is not entertained. They just say that they are investigating the case since last three months.
Now for another order No. ************** a faulty memory card, snaps and proofs provided. The seller told to partial refund. My question is why? If the unit is faulty I must get the full refund. I also suggested to provide me a functional unit of the same thing even if the capacity is half. No avail and no response. After many attempts and complaints I am standing at Zero point.
My suggestion is, never go for Aliexpress unless and until you have an after sales assurance.

I'm not one who usually bothers with writing negative reviews, but my recent experience with AliExpress convinced me to make this exception to hopefully help discourage someone else from wasting their time attempting to do business with them. I've purchased a refurbished auto-computer part for roughly the same price I had paid through a competitor a year prior. Bad luck on my part having the initial replacement part also breaking, it is what it is, but AliExpress was offering the part for a few dollars more than what I've initially paid in the recent past; so it seemed like AliExpress was the valid choice to not get horrendously overcharged. A week after making the purchase, AliExpress decided to just refund me without an explanation, an advanced warning, or anything resembling an attempt at communication. Instead, they just canceled the order and then jacked up the price of that same part by hundreds; more than doubling the initial advertised price. I highly recommend going with another online vendor when needing to make any purchase of any significance. All they did for me was waste my time, tie up my funds, and prolong the time I have to endure not having a working vehicle. I really wish I could give them a no-star review. Note: I wouldn't have bothered to post a negative review if they made an attempt to communicate their decision to not honor our transaction. I would have just been surly about it.

Do not buy from Aliexpress!
Returned an item which was not as described at all, hoping to get the refund back. But the seller refused to pay any return shipping even though they should be paying due to item not as described. Aliexpress customer service instructed me to go ahead send the goods and they will reimburse me for the shipping if seller refused to pay. I did what they told me to do but the item is never getting to seller since the seller did not want to pay custom tax to release the goods from custom. The goods has been stuck at Custom for 1.5-2 months. Now the item is on the way back to me... and the seller has been ignoring my messages. And it's been 4 months, I dont have my money back and dont have the goods back either. Aliexpress is not refunding me anything and no reimbursement because they said it is not technically "delivered" as their so-called policy. They are not protecting their consumers but their sellers. I lost 400 bucks in total, and I am super tired of this already, it's been 4 months. My bank also rejected my dispute because Aliexpress kept claiming that the seller did not receive the good, and the bank cannot force them to refund...
I need a solution of this, Aliexpress! You cannot let seller take advantage and trick the system like this, you are harming your customers!

I SPENT $40.00 AND RECEIVED NOTHING BACK, TRIED TO SEND BACK COST TO ME $200.00. COST TO SELLER WHEN SHE SHIPPED 12 EACH RODE BALLS IN ONE 11X14 BAG...$8.00. SO I AM OUT MONEY, HAVE ROSE BALLS NOT EVEN GOODWILL WOULD USE. IF i COULD UP LOAD PICTURES THAT i SENT IN i WOULD.

Generally seems OK but be careful of scammers on here such
As Shenzhen Daoda Technology Co., Ltd. For gods sakes they sent me a
Screen protector in a jiffy bag(bubble envelope) by teh time it got to
UK it was all bent and creased. Edison Liu as their customer service
Contact is comical to be polite. I send him images of the damaged screen
And he tells me to apply it to the screen and the creases and dents
Will not be visible! I tried it and spoke to a specialist too. The
Specialist advised if you use a soft warm cloth in applying the screens
"SOMETIMES" they get 'ironed' out. So i try that and yes some of the
Light creases do get 'ironed' out but the damage heavy dents and creases
remain.So this guy Edison Liu advises me that if I use it for
Months they will disappear! And does nto want to replace or refund the
Product. Ali Express is unsympathetic of any life issues you may have
And has a strict time limit of any complaints. They are not Amazon or
Paypal that they will look after you. Even their own customer service
Seems to look out for their own.So be careful and read the
Company reviews. Only buy if the costs are small and you are not
Bothered if the goods are in good condition or damaged when they arrive.
Appalling Aliexpress service and to be honest bordering on
Condescending!

Hello,
I am writing to caution potential buyers from both aliexpress and seller Ke Ke's store. I asked like 20 questions before ordering the seller was very responsive up untill i recieved the order (hats) they where counterfeit all hats wrong in size they didnt measure even hats with the same size are not the same. They quality is like a child did it. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
It's been 2 months and i still have not recieved a refund it states dispute in progress. But come on i provided emails pictures even a video and still they need time with all the evidence on the table? This website is a complete mess and a scam 100% Use caution. I have lost 100 dollars i am trying to go thru VISA however i have been out 100 bucks for 2 months and have nothing to show for it.
They have no customer support they have an automated agent that is useless.
The seller never responded after the fake hats came in.

I started shopping on Aliexpress about a year ago after hearing about the great prices from my best friend and I'm addicted. The prices are incredible and most items have free shipping which is a major plus. I've purchased all sorts of items from lipsticks, to chargers, heels, and necklaces and I haven't had any issues. I see a lot of reviews from others stating that they were robbed or got items in the wrong sizes and it just sounds stupid. Aliexpress is just like Ebay. You run the risk of being scammed and or disappointed if you don't take the time out to simply check out the Sellers reviews & product feedbacks, as well as the sizing charts. Be Cautious as you would be anywhere else. Don't purchase items that are almost free and have very little feedback or a short order history to be safe, make sure to measure yourself according to each sellers sizing chart before you purchase anything and if you still aren't sure ASK the seller BEFORE you purchase. Stay away from sellers with low ratings( under 94%). It isn't rocket Science folks, don't overspend on items you are unsure of or can find closer to home, because hello this is all coming from China, you don't get a warranty for any product that isn't from your own country. Shop Smart & you'll be happy

This is the worse service I have ever received.

Order never arrived and no refund was given. Aliexpress mentioned that it is my responsibility to clear an item. I called UK customs and quoted Aliexpress order number, but UK custom could not trace the item, the UK customs asked for appropriate shipping paper work and reference number.

I came back to Aliexpress dispute and the seller and asked for relevant export paper work with a reference number - Both the Seller and Aliexpress refused to send these details... All THEY KEPT SAYING WAS IT WAS MY DUTY TO CLEAR THE ITEM.

As we speak Aliexpress dispute closed my ticket paid the seller. Both Aliexpress and the Seller never sent export document as requested by UK customs. My item never arrived and I never got a refund.

Please stay away from this seller and Aliexpress
