Do not buy from this seller! Sent me fake shoes that were Falling apart with black glue all over. Not even an apology. Rude and agressive seller now not replying to my messages. Dispute system is a JOKE. Seller is a scammer. STAY AWAY!

This particular seller is fraudulent, failing to ship items but then falsely claiming through AliExpress that the items were dispatched. Their strategy involves selling low-cost items, around $1 or $2, then neglecting to ship them. Many people overlook this, allowing the seller to profit. What's more distressing is AliExpress's lack of support for the buyer. I've decided to cease using AliExpress to avoid further financial loss. Another seller I've encountered sends out defective items and requires the buyer to return them within 10 days, even though the delivery itself often takes more than 15 days. Additionally, the buyer is burdened with the shipping costs. This whole situation is quite problematic.

I've ordered a number of items lately from Ali Express. There is little or no communication between seller and buyer, other than the standard notifications telling us that our payment is being processed for approval, and the email that the item has shipped. Even the tracking number information is generic and vague. However, i have been satisfied with many of the items that I've ordered. The jewelry is very pretty, and the artwork has arrived in excellent shape. Yes, it does take a long time to get here - apparently this company never gets in a hurry to do anything. I have learned my lesson about one thing: NEVER order clothing from them! The things i've ordered are all the wrong sizes! The workmanship is shoddy and the fabric cheap and flimsy. I still have items that supposedly have shipped, but haven't arrived yet.
So I guess you could say I have mixed reviews.

I see so many negative reviews of this site and I just wanted to put my experience out here. I started using the site back in November and have not had any big issues. I have placed roughly 65 different orders, primarily jewelry, and all have arrived and in good conditions. Occasionally I may get a dud but that's the cost of doing business. I've had a couple issues arise and contacted the seller and they were more than helpful. You have to be really conscious of how many products a seller has sold and their rating. Don't always buy the cheapest product but really do your research.

Slow, really slow!

Very mixed delivery times, one item was apparently in the air between China and Europe for 16 days. Constant claims that items are on the way when a blocking tracking number is used and items are not shipped for weeks. Contact and problem resolution is as much use as a chocolate teapot. I recently placed an order which arrived at a problem page to say that the payment could not be taken so I reordered only to find that the original order had been taken and I could not cancel it. PayPal works intermittently. Unfortunately some of the things I want are only available on this site otherwise I would avoid it.

I had the same problem as everyone else here. I ordered a 15" 8-wire resistive touch panel from "Terrence & tang's store". What they sent was a 5-wire panel then accused me of taking a picture of some other panel.
The dispute system on AliExpress doesn't work and is poorly made - difficult to use and doesn't remember previous entries.
Your only option is to file a complaint with your credit card company.

I usually order from seller with 97% rating. I haven't received a bad product yet. They do take time. Mostly 1 months. But i can wait so its no problem for me.

I have been using Aliexpress.com for years now for my dropshipping business and it's the best supplier based site out there! When choosing which products to buy always do your research and read the suppliers feedback. Take in consideration the shipping time frame and their shipping process, including the delivery company they use.

I bought many things from them (3 pages). It seems they are ok until I bought a ski helmet from this seller: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/*******. It came with scratch marks, the vents did not work and it was small, and the quality was not good at all. I received it on "December 30,2013 11:56 am." I immediately opened a dispute and sent all the evidence of my claim by taking pictures, videos, etc. It is February 17,2014, and I still have not heard anything back as what is their verdict. They are supposed to settle their disputes in three days!

I try buying and paying thru my card and this site wants my personal info, such as driver's license and what not for security reasons. Chatting is so stupid, it's not actually live but programmed, like robots. Bunch of idiots.

I have the same beef that Mike below me posted. Been a long time buyer spending thousands of dollars, only to have everything go bad after there 11/11 sale. Disputing half the orders and waiting for them to cut me off. Real shame loved the deals. Buyer beware now.

Here are a lot of scammer in aliexpress, i contacted seller & clearly stated my required spec. And upon purchasing, i reconfirmed again. When the item finally arrived, it is not as per spec & he ask to return it at my own cost. I asked for a prove that he has what i really wanted but he refused to do so. Aliexpress customer service is a joke, they do not read the whole story & simply jump into conclusion that it was my fault. They never got your back but instead, will $#*! your backside. Because of this, seller ignore my further request

Getting worse

Service and prices are getting worse instead of getting better. It is only good just for some "dollar" stuffs that you even don't need and you can not find in your country. Everything else is just wasting money and time. (opinion created from more than 3000 orders till now)

Ali Express is acceptable for product display/description/management. However, if you have any simple account management task they will make your account unavailable and refer you to automated assistance or helpers reading from scripts. Apparently they keep no records as they have no submission history. The Ali Express website is probably run by a small circle of very poorly educated, managed, and overseen infants.

Avoid these sellers

A and R shopping mall sells stuff they dont have in stock repeatedly! Takes money but will not refund! They let the order cancel automatically and ask you to put false reasons for cancelling! They dont not send items, and they operate under different names i think to confuse customers! Avoid this seller on ali express! Want to give minus stars but can only give lowest in one star!

I will never order from them again! There is no refund policy. Size was wrong [our error], but they wanted us to mail back boots. The $45 boots would have cost $180.00 to return to China. Now you know they did not pay that to send boots to USA. Emails back and forth were cryptic at most, no command of English language. Avoid at all cost!

I see so many complaints about aliexpress, but if you obey a few ground rules it is one of the best places to buy almost anything.

I'm in the UK and I get most items I order within 10 days or less. If you want to shop safely on aliexpress, follow these rules:
1) Don't buy anything from a company with less than 90% positive feedback.
2) Don't buy any product with less than 10 orders and 2 positive user feedback ratings
3) If an item looks too good to be true, don't buy it!
4) Don't buy branded items - e.g. Apple, Samsung etc.

It's so simple, yet so many people mess it up which gives the site a reputation it doesn't deserve.

Poor Customer Service

When you have a challenge with your purchase, an agent may solve the problem between you and the seller. However, trying to communicate with Aliexpress agents is like talking to a robot, and they can disconnect the chatline when they see you insist on questioning. They have no telephone contact or email but only a chat line. Chatting with an agent, it seemed as if they cut and paste information and this is not satisfactory. Moreover, sellers may sell the wrong item deliberately, and it is sometimes difficult to argue your case. I would not buy items over $10. And so, I would say, Buyer, Beware. However, Aliexpress customer service is better than Shein company which has no form of communication with their customers.):

They don't honor returns

I purchased several products on AliExpress, and some of the stuff were small. I tried returning the products that didn't fit within the 15-day return policy. But to no avail. I guess, I will be sending these product to charity. Amazon is a much better platform that is customer focus.

For pros, they offer stuff you can't get elsewhere for decent prices and that is it.

Negatives, sellers range from good to bad with no way to vet them or verify reliability and trust other than user reviews plus bad sellers can easily make a new account so they are prevalent and not weeded out. Aliexpress doesn't have the customer's back at all if a product is defective, usually they require you to ship it back to China and the seller has to pay for the shipping! Since the shipping is more expensive than the item originally cost, this is a popular loophole for sellers to escape justice.

I have put through about 20 orders in my lifetime on aliexpress and I would say I have had issues with about 40% of those orders, whether missing items, quality, etc. and not once have I "won" a dispute due to the prohibited costs mentioned above.

I would only go here if you have no other option and then after submitting your order... pray.
