Should you use this website? How about this: try to find their customer service number. Hint: it doesn't exist. Why would you do business with a company you can't even contact? If you have any problems with your order, a seller ships you absolute counterfeit garbage (which happened to me), or for some reason you don't receive your money back on a return, you will be SOL.
I have been ordering Ali for a year. Very pleased with the service. Pleases the protection of the buyer when you make an order, and do not worry about losing money. Never had a gap with suppliers. Several times the goods were damaged upon delivery, and even in this case, the seller made a discount or even sent a new product. I think Ali raised the trade to a new modern level and became a role model for other sites from around the world.
I ordered a backpack - how difficult can it be to put together a back pack? Apparently much more so than one would think. The stitching was uneven, the quality very poor. Even for a child - the thing should at least hold together for longer than a day! AND - they refused to refund my money when I sent them photos of the errors. Shady company.
I've been buying off this website for 2 years now and I've come to realize that you're taking a chance when you purchase any item. I feel that the company has grown quite a lot over the past year or so in my opinion just based on the quality and selection of items I see. I've had horrible experiences on aliexpress and I've had some amazing experiences also. I think you just have to be very very careful when you select what to buy and who to buy it from. I order little things and never an item over $200 because I know I'm going to have a hard time getting that money back if something goes wrong. If I really want an item and the seller has mediocre feedback and not many customer pictures that's a red flag right there obviously don't order from them. Some of the sellers are professionals and some are just down right weird and awkward but I have never had a problem with customer service. So all in all I'd say aliexpress is a great site if you know what you're doing.
I also ordered a winter jacket on 24/9/2015. It said will be delivered 15-45 days but till now hasn't arrived yet.! From the beginning I already feel suspicious with this website but I was lured by the discount price and pictures. Having just read all the reviews, I am freaking scared that I would be the next victim.
Whenever I tried to buy, there is no straight away purchase. Too much procedure. The sellers simply states prices. We won't get any Items at published prices. In some of the items they states minimum quantity as "1". But, there will not be option for payment. "A very BAD sellers in the site". Not a trust worthy site.
Never thought that going to make purchase on any site but ebay (after making it on gearbest).
But tried order some cheap staff on aliexpress and was surprised by their service. It is real fast delivery. And they seriously care about customers. So I've made more purchase on ali and I am 100 percent satisfied with time of delivery and the quality of items.
I've ordered from this site 6 times to see what I would get. I received broken USB drives, a broken Micro SD chip and I never received an order for a cell phone case.
Batting. 500 on orders isn't an acceptable win rate for me to operate under, so I'll warn others away and take my money elsewhere.
Today, only Aliexpress gives me confidence in a safe purchase. I no longer use PayPal because they do not protect the buyer as Aliexpress does. Aliexpress has very tight control of sellers and very fair rules for all players. I am pleased with the Aliexpress service because it is constantly evolving.
If you don't get your goods from seller customer services really do not get anything sorted for you at all, seem to be on sellers side. Will tell you they will do this and that but in fact get nothing done and it's frustrating trying to get anywhere with them 1 out of 10, that's the chances of getting money back
I paid once for an order, so I thought, they kept charging my account. I got a few cheap stuff then nothing. My partner just passed away as I started receiving my credit card bill and I didn't notice right away that there were unwarranted charges. They do a really good job at being legit but they're scammers.
I have not bought anything from them. However, I did is browse some items on their site, and set up an account. Now I get bombarded with promotional texts, emails, and ads that appear on every other website I visit. I can't even block them successfully in Outlook, as they have some way to evade the "Block Sender" function. All of the items on the site have 5 star reviews, which is just not legitimately possible, so good luck with any purchases.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!
I wish I read all the reviews here first before I decided to lose my money.
1. They take several weeks just to reply any questions.
2. Any customer service chat and e-mail does not work. It gives you the same automated responses with no solutions
3. If you open dispute, they will close it at their disposal with out any agreement from the buyer side.
4. You cannot reopen the case at all.
5. They say they will give refund but the dollar amount will be $0.00.
6. You will not be able to leave a review on their site if it is a bad review.
Companies like AliExpress is what bring Chinese products and Services a bad name. I will never order from any Chinese export companies because of this experience.
Ordered furniture from this site. After 4 months of waiting finally received the furniture to find mold all over the outside and inside. I put in a dispute with lots of pictures of the mold as evidence and they told me politely to kiss their $#*!. I am now out $1900. 00. Sorry i cant upload any more photos on here.
I bought a pair of shocks from aliexpress for over $1000 cad and when the item arrive it's missing parts and defective I contact aliexpress the same day they refuse to take it back or give any kind of refund... stay away from their site don't buy they are no good
I ordered a dress for my daughter and not only did it arrive in quick time but also in brand new condition and to top it all the price was exceptionally reasonable. Great looking dress. I'll continue to buy more from this site.
It still works okay, dispute are mostly will be closed to in a customer side but for the last 5 years the prices for the products had become almost in Europe, I have no point of ordering here and wait for 1-2 month.
It took weeks to get the account open, then they want more to be able to pay. Can anyone tell me why i should submit a copy of my passport, drivers license, bank account statements and more to try to find out what is wrong. I finally got a human being on chat and they sent me to another site that did not work. Be very careful of dealing with this company.

DO NOT BUY anything on this site! Once you pay its over. They will keep your money for months and no merchandise! If you think you are getting a bargain. Think again!
It is not worth it the aggravation you have to go thru with them and your credit card company. Buy from reputable companies. I only wish I have read some reviews before I made a purchase. Live and learn!
