I should be able to get refund since the product Was Not same as Described. I ordered purple leather shoes says " I love Canada". I chose the product correctly. I received the purple mesh shoes says" I love China". My daughter is Canadian and we were excited about this shoes. I talked 10 human agents and they said they will make sure I get refund. But the dispute team rejected my refund twice saying " there is no difference between the product the seller sent and I received. The seller knew there was a difference. They still did not give me refund. They said I have to send them back to receive the refund even though it was their fault. There is a proof that there is a difference in products. Dispute team is either blind or stupid.

Like many cheap marketplaces, looking for product/seller reviews and sizing is key to even having a shot at a good product. My experience with AliExpress has been limited to a couple wigs and hairnets. The quality was cheap as expected but worth it for reasonable prices. I would advise buyers to go for things that don't require high quality, such as minor accessories sold by trusted sellers.

It's fine until it's not

I've had hundreds of good purchases from Aliexpress. For the very few (low value) items that weren't received, the dispute and refund process was painless.

Until I had a high value package go missing in transit. Even though the tracking shows it was never delivered, Aliexpress decided against and closed my dispute. After that you have no further recourse or means to contact Aliexpress.

Avoid these scammers.

Returned the goods to the seller, the arbitration decision - without refund. I downloaded all the necessary documents, after which I was refused three times by the support service and on appeal. There is complete silence in social networks, communication is only through the site from another profile - my main one was blocked.

Total Fraud

Received only some broken pieces of what I ordered in an old shoe box, wrapped in a trash bag. The dispute process is a joke and shame on CapitalOne for ignoring my claim. Any site can offer the lowest prices if they send you something out of their garbage. Biggest rip off on the internet. Where is the consumer protection?

I placed 3 orders on April 7. Later got emails: "Good news your order was shipped" for each of this orders. They expected arrive up to May 7. Never get one. Tried to open disputes, but web site does not allow to do this showing message that I have to wait. After this I again start getting messages "Good news your order was shipped"! Than got another email "Bad news your order period expired. You may submit a dispute"! But I could not submit is NOT received order. And finally got email again "Good news your order was shipped" and other email "Byers protection extended to Aug 7". This is complete mess on this site. NEVER USE IT! I did not have any issues on other Chinese sites Wish.com or Banggood.com, but Aliexpress is complete JUNK.

The seller on this site Aliexpress lists the garment in 4 sizes sm, md, lg and XL. THEN informs me they are one size fits most. Stuff from China Never fits most. One size junk fits a usa Small maybe a medium if you are lucky. 4 days of slogging through their Stupid message system. Messages you have to click repeatedly to get the Text to appear in the message box. Seller is trying to convince me saying how everyone likes "one size" BS. WHY list it in assort sizes. Then tried to get me to order other styles. BOY, I sure hope after a week of this bull, I get me credit card refunded since I ordered a bunch. Thank goodness Visa will protect me

Customer service is non-existent on Alieexpress

Very few trustworthy companies. Most are crooks. Aliexpress does nothing to help. Omgwigs forced me to leave a 5 star review to get a partial refund. Now I know why they have so many 5 stars. Aliexpress does NOTHING about this and doesn't allow you edit reviews because they're in on it! Be VERY WARY about this site. Poor suckers will see my "5" star and the cycle continues. Pics are what you order, full lace vs what you get, expensive 4x4 and itchy edged wig. Way too pricey for a non 13x4 lace. This is a $30 wig being sold to suckers like me for almost $100. Disgusting. I was able to get 37 bucks back AFTER blackmailing me into a 5 star review.

I ordered two bike batteries from a Chinese company on Ali Express giving them the exact specifications and dimensions of the battery, which the company agreed. Having secured my payment of $554.28, I have received an e-mail stating that the standard size has now changed. I wasted time setting up an e-mail account with AliExpress and time sending e-mails back and forth to the company. I have cancelled my order but fear I may never see this money again. Since ordering I have noticed that this tactic has been used many times on unsuspecting buyers. I am now incredibly worried that the seller will not authorize my cancellation and I will have to go into dispute wasting further time. My experience has meant that I will NEVER EVER trade again with AliExpress. Please read this and learn from my experience and that of many others.

I placed 2 orders. The small one went through ($1.50) the larger order ($70) did not, they said I would have to supply them with a copy of my ID or Passport among other personal information. I prefer to keep my identity from being stolen. Lmao, how stupid would I have to be to give that out online.
The Customer service is also terrible, the site is confusing and there is not protection for the buyer. Who doesn't like a good deal, but on this site you are looking to just give your money away.

Also, reading other reviews, looks like you won't get what you ask for or likely something that doesn't work.

I have ordered a Mannequin Dress Form online with aliexpress paying USD 108.70 in the month of April 2014 and today its 30th June and still the item is not received. Complained many a time and aliexpress does not interfere or question the buyer. Buyer keeps extending delivery time unilaterally despite me asking them to cancel and refund. The site days delivery within 15-30 days! Dont buy from aliexpress as their customer service is very very poor. I am now taking up this issue with my credit card issuing bank

Such a bad company. The whole company cheats. It took 9 months to get my $900 back. Had to take legal action, spent 100s hrs On chat, they still owe my $36. No email, no contact number, need to chat with dumb people and machine. Don't buy from them. So bad. So many orders do not come. Dispute is a waste of time.

Aliexpress sucks

Ordered a phone case. Past expected date, yet the product has not arrived. Open dispute and I had to contact the customer supplier 3 times, and after 3 times they still have not solved anything. It's been 2 months, the lousy seller keeps saying please wait. Super terrible! Because I have contacted customer service thrice, i went to clarify with one of the customer service attendant if she was a robot (as they say the same thing all over again), and she said she is hurt and she will cry. Poor customer service! No professionalism at all! I hope no one ever buys from their website. Just terrible. Up till now I have not received my order. I've seen bad reviews made in 2012. It's 2017 now, they're still f*cking up real bad.

After 100 + orders

After 100+ orders I can safely say that I am very satisfied with the website and their procedures. The products have not always been without problems, but Aliexpress service has always been very helpful. I've had one or two dissappointing experiences, but it was not because of aliexpress.com, rather the shops that they intermediate.

Although. If you dont know how to search for products on the site, you might find yourself in a vast sea of crap, so always look for the good indicators like; the amount of orders made and written references etc.

I've been using this site for more than 4 years. The prices are quite good, there's a huge variety of items. Reviews left by customers also help a lot when choosing a seller. There are some minor downsides like long shipping times but that really depends on the time of the season and how quickly the seller ships the item. When asked for full refund, some sellers act impolite and refuse to negotiate, but that's when aliexpress steps in. If it really isn't your fault you didn't get the item that you've wanted, they do a full refund. Throughout these 4 years I didn't have major problems with this site but there's always a room for improvement.

Hit or miss

Worthless site. One never knows which order the seller decides to ship and which they just provide invalid tracking numbers for. 4 out of 4 recent orders, placed with 4 different vendors, have never made it to its destination, even though emails were sent with shipping confirmations and invalid tracking numbers. Canceling all of them and seriously doubt I will be wasting any more time on Ali Express than this poor review.

I had previously ordered three items from AliExpress and had great experiences. Unfortunately I ordered from a seller with no feedback and they sent me a damaged necklace and refused to refund item unless I returned it with tracking within 9 days (that's international shipping from North America - expensive). Cost of shipping with tracking was more than cost of necklace, and I had zero trust in seller or website so I gave up. I may enquire with Visa about their buyers protection plan. I tried to dispute the transaction online and nothing. The "Buyers Protection Plan" is a complete and total sham! Buyer beware! Only order from sellers with good feedback and don't order expensive items (which thankfully, I didnt'). If you're happy doing that then the risk may out weigh benefits. This one bad apple pretty much spoiled it for me, not ordering from them again.

I bought a pair of headlights from a company on this site. Almost $500.00 for the set. Took a little over 3 months to arrive and when they did, they did not work! I'm currently trying to return them for a refund and they say I'm outside of the return time frame. So not only did I have to wait 3 months for broken headlights, I also may lose $500.00. I should of listened to my friends and stayed with Ebay.

Aliexpress is helps fraudulent sellers, no protection to buyers and filing a Dispute is a waste of time. I have lost hundreds of $$$ with them for receiving defective, cheap quality, counterfeit items from sellers. Sellers mislead buyers by posting great pictures and descriptions on their listing then send you a totally different item. Again, sellers on Aliexpress are fraudulent and Dispute procedure is a a BIG JOKE and a waste of time! So do not go near them!

The problem with such sites are that there'll be good sellers and bad or even scam sellers there.

I know people have advised on looking for sellers with higher ratings or have been around for a long time. But these qualities sometimes only meant that the seller is more honest or that their goods are of better quality and doesn't mean that they're equally good when problem arises.

I've deal with one such seller before. He has fairly high rating (96ish%) and he has been around for 3 years. His reviews are pretty good, with just a few negative ones that complains about the product or wrong colour.

However, when I got a defective product from him, he keeps finding excuses and was rather insincere in communicating with me and even MIA for days. In the end, I've to go through aliexpress to settle the problem.
