I recently attempted to purchase an item from one of their suppliers. I was told by the supplier it had been shipped. After waiting and not getting the item, I contacted AliExpress and started my protection claim. The supplier insisted they sent the item, but would send a replacement if I would have AliExpress release the purchase funds. When I refused to do so AliExpress gave me a full refund. I can not speak highly enough of AliExpress' Buyer protection. They have you protected!
Buying on AliExpress, I don't worry about my order. Any questions to the seller before buying and even after - always answer. And most importantly, I am 100% sure of the technical support of the trading platform itself. Thank you very much!
Aliexpress is a scam company who doesn't honor basic or protect buyer, all this company care about is his fake seller and of course the commission.
This company should not be allowed to provide his products and service in any country.
I buy from this site but i only buy non branded and non electrical items because i know they're going to be fake or dodgy. I also dont buy shoes as aliexpress is know for poor quality. On the other hand, i have bought many items of jewellery, makeup, scarfs, nail products and hair products aswell as bath and body sets, all of which i have recieved at the time stated without any hassle. Its a good site but you have to be careful because some sellers may take your money and then not deliver your item bit pie and say they have already dispatched it.
Some items are of a reasonable quality, but the after-sales are crap. They are a broker for various Chinese sellers and although the have a satisfaction or refund policy this is worthless. They will email back and forth dodging the issue until you have had enough and push you to putting a review on here. Can't be trusted.
Bought a hover board for $320. Worked for one day and that's it. Can't get money back. Seller tried to send me a new circuit for it but still did not work. Seller never responded again. Dispute process a waste too.
I just read your reviews. I haven't seen a positive one yet? I was going to order some shirts, but after reading about the crap customer service, and how the products are cheap knock offs. I am going to shop elsewhere.
I orderded a few items, and was tracking it through the website on my mobile. All a sudden, today the orders went missing as if my order didn't exist, got me all stressed out. I had no luck with their 'help instructions', their instructions are s#!+ And there is no live chat or anyone who could help me. After spending half an hour searching on the internet, I saw a past posting on this issue and managed to find my order. I'm so angry at how this company has no customer service. I don't think I'll buy here again unless my items are less than $40 and I could afford to lose out on items.
The seller is very serious in business and the way they handle shipping is fast and accurate. Material of product high quality.

First thing aliexpress carries many sellers, it's a hit or miss fortunately for me it was a hit all the shirts and pants for made beautifully about three pieces I was not happy about and I let the seller of that brand know. Otherwise everything wore well and washed well... one fault I find shipping is slow but it was worth it for me... New York buyer
I bought some electronics part for my car. Total cost of 300+ euro. The products did not work, and I disputed it as the system should work.
The agreement was to receive 10% return, or return all for full refund.
I returned all, but no refund at all.
Now I lost both the faulty goods and the money.
Im really pissed of by AliExpress and their suppliers.
It's only when things go wrong, which in my case always seems to be electronic goods, that you find the brick wall to bang your head against. I have now found that going through your own bank and getting charge back is the most painless way to deal with them.
Of course overall Aliexpress is a great source of goods at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK, as long as you are willing to wait for delivery and don't get caught having to pay duty as has happened on a couple of occassions. You take your chance.

Very bad experience. When something gets wrong, you can't contact anyone. There is only a frustrating robot, that answers automatically. They know what they are doing and when they don't want to refund, noone can Reach them, even no e. Mails are allowed. This is pure theft and fraud, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I regret i bought things there. I gut lucky sometime, because i received few items, but as i said if you are unlucky, you pay the mistakes, when you have done nothing but paying also the marchandise. They are unfair with their dispute.
Refurbished/used goods are sold as new sometimes. I have purchased a few times from the storefronts and generally products are of extremely poor quality and not worth even the low prices you pay. They will not post any negative store/product feedback online if you submit one, only the glowing ones! Misleading product descriptions and it's impossible to return items if you are not happy, they make you jump through a million hoops (photos and other uploads) and even then refuse returns! Avoid unless the deal is worth serious consideration.
I can only add to other reviewers, in my case I was supplied with a totally different item and the supplier had the nerve to call me a lier? Mediation does not work as they support their sellers.
I did manage to get a 15% refund, wow, for a product I don't want.
I should have read these reviews, lucky I only lost $75, but no more will I ever send these thieves one single cent.

On Aliexpress, you will find a little bit more obscure Asian fashion among other things. Some of the sellers on there are great! Look closely at reviews and look for sellers with good feedback, especially comments about how good the quality is and how similar it is to the stockphoto. I've received great items from there that match the stock photos exactly! Only once did I not receive what I was really looking for. The only downside is that I don't really like the packaging that most sellers send their packages in as it looks really dirty and kind of scary to open but I guess thats what you get for really cheap shipping options. Other than that, feel free to try from a reputable seller on there.
I'm still doing battle with them. I ordered (and paid for with visa) a $100 bracelet.
It wasn't shipped and they say (very politely) sorry, but too late.
You can't even open a dispute unless it's between 45 and 60 days,
Every time I use their chat they tell me they will give me a coupon but it will take another 18 days to process. And of course it never happens.
They just want you to go away. I recommend not to take a chance with them.
Update. Another broken promise to give me a credit for the lost money.
This is probably the only major Chinese online shop to stay away from. They don't allow payment using PayPal so no protection. Many reports of the owners setting up bogus suppliers to scam money.
I have used this site for a long time without problems but after my last purchase i'm very vary of them. I've bought powerbank from Xiaomi and got fake one. After my complaint they needed evidences (photos and video). On one of the pictures was holographic label with serial number that you could check on the original xiaomi page but it was wrong. So in the they end they didn't return me any money and said that seller proveded them papers that proves that they goods are genuine even though in comments section was tons of comment about fake and some of the people have got refunds.
After some time the even deleted that lot.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
