NEVER use kiwi.com. I booked a flight early 2020 and the flights were cancelled. Understandable with everything going on this year. There were several options to get a refund, a few of which were paid options to get them to "expedite" your refund process. I chose the assisted option, which said it would take up to 3 months to get a refund. I figured I wasn't in a hurry, 3 months is no bid deal. I didn't want to pay extra for a service that should be free. It's now been over 7 months and all I get from them is "we are working on it" reply. This year has been full of extenuating circumstances, I understand that things can be complicated. But over 7 months waiting for my refund is entirely unacceptable. So if there is any risk that flights might get moved or cancelled, DO NOT use Kiwi.com.

The fare I booked was good but they automatically checked me into my flight 10 DAYS early... I had gotten a new passport so was planning on changing the number on my booking in the week leading up to my flight. But since they had already checked me in so ridiculously early, they charged me a 10 euro fee to get my new boarding pass... for a $45 flight. They gave me no warning beforehand they'd check me in so early. It also took 5 days and emails to get a resolution on the updated info even though they said it would be processed in 48 hours. Won't use them again.

Absolute scam: Kiwi.com suggested to pay for the sport equipment in advance before the flight, charged $200, at the airport the paid invoice did not work at the check-in and I was asked to pay again for the same thing but $50.

So Kiwi charges 4 times more for the same thing, and this service does not even work.

Of course it takes forever to get a refund.

KIWI.com recently sold me a fake flight and did not inform me that the flight was no more. I had to pay 1500 euros for a new flight and it ruined my holiday. For the past month I have been chasing up the compensation but they have been far from helpful. This company is not a legitimate company do not book through them, they will steal from you!

Kiwi.com claims that carriers cancel flights & then refuse to give a refund. If you call the carrier, 9/10 they'll say that the flight was not canceled in the first place, maybe delayed, but if it's cancelled, they refund their customers... meaning that Kiwi.com receives the refund, but the customer does not. I don't know how Kiwi.com is allowed to literally steal money from their customers.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Maybe for like 40 dollar flights that you'd be ok losing money on. But nothing more than that.

Kiwi have not responded to our refund of flights which kiwi cancelled.

Booking made 20/5/22 and then kiwi cancelled this transaction on 28/5/22 but have not refunded us. We have been chasing them by email as there is no phone number to call them on.
No refund ever received in full for £2,385.73. We did not accept any credits of £85 because we are not happy to use Kiwi again.

Tip for consumers:

Kiwi.com will take your money and NOT refund you!
I am still waiting for a refund for flights that were cancelled due to COVID in July last year. Kiwi.com's customer service is appalling, you will only be fobbed off with generic reply's!
This company is so bad there is a dedicated facebook page kiwi.com - victims of the scam Kiwi - please please look at this BEFORE you hand over any of your money!

One of the worst phone customer experiences I've had in my entire life. Lack of communication between Kiwi.com and airlines so if you need to make a change on your trip, I'd suggest contacting the airline directly (even though most likely you won't able to because Kiwi withholds information).

Nothing gets done on Kiwi.com's end and they don't provide the information you need to make the change with the airline. The chat support takes hours for a response, and the phone support agents have zero information they can provide and goes in circles with you. After 4+ phone calls with some going over an hour, nothing was resolved. False promises were made by staff saying issues would be GUARANTEED to be resolved yet they weren't.

0/10 would never recommend to anyone.

Don't ever go through kiwi. They just steal your money. You try calling them and all of them hang up on you and won't let you speak to a supervisor. One of them even told me no that he wasn't going to transfer me this is the worst company to go for. I canceled my flight paid 260 and all they gave me back was $10. What the hell is 10$ good for. This is such a terrible company with the worst customer service who just steals your money. Make sure you go through direct flying companies instead of this garbage fraud company

Don’t use and if you do make sure you won’t cancel or all they’ll give you is $10 and when you try to call they all hang up on you and they’re rude

Kiwi.com is an association of thieves. They will try to rip you off and their "team managers" will call you at 1 am in the night to tell you, that they won´t and can´t do anything to refund services that weren´t rendered. Luckily I am just talking 110 € here but in essence, kiwi claims to have to get back with the airline despite you paying them. I can only concur to what others say, avoid and if you are having issues, charge with with a lawyer and with the police. It is the only way to deal with thieves, crooks and criminals.

I booked a flight to Italy from US to leave on March 22 (3 weeks from booking). This was not smart of me because I didn't check my passport first and it had expired. I realized I probably couldn't get a passport in time, so within an hour i cancelled online. They issued me a refund for 10 euros. I called them, and they absolutely refuse to give me any more than their "credit" of 10 euros. I feel absolutely sick.
If you decide to use this service don't make a mistake. My bank is going to call them but I don't have high hopes, as I don't think they have any interest in customer service.

This company may seem like they find you great deals, but there are tons of hidden baggage fees. Thomas cook air, for example, had a 5kg weight limit for a carry on. So, after carrying my bags on 3 flights, I was then charged$110 PER bag to get on that airline. I was charged random baggage fees my entire trip and, since I chose the flights with a ton of connections to save money, I literally ended up paying an extra$700 in baggage fees round trip to Morocco. I contacted them to get a refund on the fees and they said it was up to me to have checked on all the airline policies! It was an awful experience altogether. Avoid booking through this company!

DO NOT use Kiwi.com for any of your travel plans. They are scammers, and they are liars! I bought 2 flights, paid for and confirmed. Later that evening, they sent me a text saying that my flight prices have now gone up, and they wanted more money. I purchased the flights they advertised, on their website, and then they had the audacity to ask me for more money, hours after I had already made my purchase.
They gave me 2 choices...pay more or we take your flights away. They took my flights back. I have now filed a complaint through the Aviation consumer complaint dept at the DOT.

Tip for consumers:
Do not give your money to Kiwi.com. They will scam you, and you will be left with no flights, no travel management, and no customer service

After paying to add luggage I got to airport and it hadnt been added by kiwi when they did my check in. So... had to pay one more time. They claim they will take at least 30 days for refunds even if its their mistake so imagine if they need to refund flights! FLAGGING

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Kiwi.com's customer service. I needed to change the payer's data on an invoice, and despite 20 messages back and forth, the company was unwilling to provide a reasonable solution. In fact, I felt like I was being trolled by the customer service representatives. It is clear that Kiwi.com does not prioritize customer satisfaction and is more interested in taking our money without providing adequate service. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using this service look elsewhere.

I booked with them and purchased 'Kiwi.com guarantee' - when the Swedish Govt decided not to let Brits into their country, Kiwi said: "I do understand that you will not be able to use the flight due to travel restrictions which are not covered by the Kiwi.com guarantee". My girlfriend booked a trip as a surprise with my credit card - on Kiwi.com. Of course she booked non-refundable tickets - without my knowledge. Anyway, my relative had a near-fatal accident right before the trip and was in ICU for a week. I'm the only caretaker she has. I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did.
Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law.
Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double.
When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'.
I feel like they have stolen from me.

You have to request any changes to your flight 48 hours before. That's fair. BUT they'll just ignore you until it's too late and try to get you to book an entirely new flight.

They blew me off for over 24 hours saying they were "busy". Once it was too late, they were perfectly happy to respond.

They added no value whatsoever. I couldn't check in, couldn't get my flight information, couldn't make changes. Just book through the airline or a different company. Don't give these people a cent.

They did a fake booking the flight never existed Ryan air wasn't flying to Milan from east midland since start of the year but they were selling that flight. And close to the time email came your flight is cancelled and I lost all money for 2 people. I will take them to court very soon they have been deceptive.

Kiwi is the worst I bought a ticket they made a mistake I called 15 minutes after they told me there was nothing they can do about it the problem with this is when you call you do not talk to people in the us it's all in India and all they tell you is that they can't do anything. All reviews about kiwi are bad so I advise people not to use them I hope this review stays sometimes it's better to pay more and not go through the hassle they put you through at the end of the day they made there money.

This site does not even allow you to contact customer service unless you pay extra.
My flight got cancelled due to Covid-19 and they refused to even look into because I didn't buy flexible option.
The only way forward is to report them to the trading standard! What a disgrace!

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Kiwi is a scam. The airline cancelled my flight and Kiwi has refused to refund me and it's been over a YEAR.
The airline is not responsive since they are so small and unreliable I guess, but Kiwi is making me pay the price.
They keep saying that they have put an urgent priority on my request, but it has been a YEAR. I can only assume they are doing nothing and just saying that.
I saw many YouTube reviews about Kiwi and many people have the same situation as me. This seems like a scam. I only need a refund of about $90 USD, but they refuse to refund me. Worst experience ever, I feel robbed!

******* was my reference number. This company by far was the worst customer service to deal with. They lie straight to your face, no refunds for there mistakes, and separate your tickets. Was stuck in Miami from Madrid and had to pay for tickets to get home to Houston. They rip you off and don't care about there customers.

Absolute joke of a company. One of my flights was cancelled and they offered a 26 hour flight with 2 connections instead of my initial 8 hour flight with 1 connection. Otherwise I had to play extravagant amounts to get flights that resembled my initial times. When I ask for a refund they said there was an administration fee and NO guarantee whatsoever that I would get my money back.

The prices they quoted for my alternative flight were grossly inflated (the company that provides them sold them at a fraction of the price) effectively holding me and my relatives hostage to their company.

This is a company, nobody should have to book with ever...
