Part of the itinerary was cancelled. Yet KIWI will not allow ANY REFUND AT ALL. They refuse to give the booking code of the airline, just to make sure that you cannot get any refund from the airline directly. They refuse to do a partial refund, all flights will be cancelled at once. Don't believe ANY of the refund options. Only the option where you pay them 80+ euros for handling the refund is available, all the others they won't do!
THIS COMPANY IS A PURE SCAM. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Initially you save some bucks, but when you need to do any changes to your flight you are totally screwed.

I bought a ticket through Fluege.de and it was only after I paid that I was informed the ticket was with kiwi.com (I would never have agreed to use them otherwise). Then one of the legs of the ticket was cancelled due to strike and the only options they could offer required that I pay more than the original ticket, would have meant 10 to 12 hours extra time on an original 1.5 hour flight and required that l leave the next day (a day early). When I cancelled, I was only refunded 50 euros on a ticket that cost 190 euros. The reason for this, as the consumer protection service in Austria explained, is that they buy each ticket separately, and they are not required to refund the whole ticket for this reason.
I would recommend buying through the airline. They are required to provide a viable alternative and have a lot more resources and must refund the whole ticket. In the end, I bought a new ticket (still cheaper than kiwi.com's alternatives) through Air France, and although this flight was also affected by strikes, the airline was quick to inform me of problems and rebook me on a new flight, even with other airlines. I do not see what kiwi.com can offer.

I purchased 2 round-trip tickets from Boston to Barcelona prior to COVID. I cancelled the flights in June of last year since we were banned
From Europe due to restrictions. I chose a refund back to my card. I heard nothing from Kiwi until I continuously messaged them and
Emailed them. Finally, they sent me a "Proof of Refund" in November for only 292.30. The flights cost me 647.14. Not even half of it was
"refunded". They said it will take up to 10 days to post to my card. 2 months later, and after numerous conversations by Facebook and
Email, they still had not refunded even that much. I continued to find new people to email about it to message on Twitter and Facebook and
FINALLY on January 24th, the 292.30 was supposed to be refunded in November. Still nothing about the additional 355 dollars they owe me. No explanation, nothing.
Still waiting and you can't even talk to a real person with their company. They take weeks to respond on FB and Twitter, if they do, AND every time you speak with them, you have to resubmit ALL of the details again. Horrible experience and would never recommend them to ANYONE.

If a flight is been cancelled or any issue they don't refund and they just take your money. Amazing that a company like that is allowed to exist, a reflext of how hummanity is down.
Basically when one of the connecting flights is cancelled they just tell you they will ask for as much as possible refund, which means "nothing" because it is always zero. DO NEVER BOOK WITH THAT APPLICATION

If I can give this company a 0 star, I would. Worst company ever! I had a few different browsers open as I reviewed different flight options. I entered all my personal information and just needed to push the purchase button. I did this with all the open browsers so I can quickly purchase my ticket. I selected the wrong browser and booked a flight with this company. Realized my mistake and called them within 20 minutes. First guy hung up on me and second person I called said the booking has been processed and will not allow me to change my flight plan. I called my credit card company and they said the purchase is still pending. It has not gone through yet. I asked my credit company to cancel the charge as it has not been processed. Credit card company instructed me to dispute the charges. I called Kiwi again and asked to speak to a supervisor and operator informed me none was available for the next 2 hours. US Airlines typically have a 24 hour cancellation policy. This company literally does not have any refund or cancellation policy. If you want one, you have to purchase their refund policy prior to purchasing their tickets. The policy is another $55. You're better off booking your flight somewhere else. I wished someone would have flagged this company as a fraud.

We have bought ticket for a 4 days in mykonos for a wedding from paris via Milan in may 2023. The initial lay over was 1h20. They send us a mail saying the flight was canceled and we will have now a lay over in milan of 20hours! They consider that a minor change! Can you believe it, 20h in an aiport ivernight is considered a minor change! So no option to get reimbursed, or placed on a earlier flight, or expenses paid for a night in a hotel! So the only option they offer is to buy new tickets and loose our 450 euros for our orginal flights! They are THIEVES! We have recorded all our 3 one hour-conversations with the customer service that was awful, because they did not want to connect us with a manager!
We will sue them as many passengers are in the same situation as us! Never use kiwi.com. Never!

We have booked Qatar air PNR 4O4A99. THE AIRLINE INFORMED US THAT QATAR DOES NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO FLY ON THIS ROUTE, HENCE THIS IS A FRAUDULENT TICKET. LEGAL ACTION IS ON THE WAY YOU B***RDS.

I attempted to book tickets for 4 (myself, my daughter and her two children). After booking my daughter I was required to pay and then was unable to book the rest of us. II tried again, starting with my grandchild and the site refused to accept her booking because she is only 10.
The next day I again attempted to book myself and my two grandchildren. This time I got as far as myself and then I was unable to book my grandchildren. This ticket was finally refunded after a 50% price increase, which I refused.
I tried to straighten all of this out with Kiwi customer service. They failed to call back as promised. I got the usual customer service response: "Sorry, you only booked for one person", which is not what I attempted to do but was only allowed to do.
The company refused to change the name on the first booking, so my daughter could travel with her unbooked children. All in all, as polite as the customer service people were, some of whom were difficult to understand, I did not accomplish any of my goals, they did not take responsibility for their website problems while booking, and I am probably left with loosing the price of the one ticket- a 10 euros refund would not cover come near the cost of the ticket and is unacceptable.
And finally I have consistently requested an email copy of the transcripts recordings of our conversations that they promised to provide, and I have yet to receive them.
I will never use this company again; and I do not recommend using Kiwi.

This is the worst travel agent ever. They made a fraud and the service is unacceptable. This site needs to close immediately. It is against EU rules, it keeps the money from the cancelled flights, even though the regulations are protecting the costumers by providing them anoher alternative (for which you need pay extra in kiwi! And they dont give money back they keep them for themselves by stealing from us).
I purchased airline tickets with Kiwi for a trip in December 2020. My flights were canceled by the carriers due to COVID-19 and they informed me that they cannot do anything about it apart from giving me back 100Euro from the 700Euro that i paid for my ticket. I contacted 1 of the airlines and they helped after begging them to keep my tickets open. Kiwi needs to be audited and close now!

Never use kiwi.com to book your flights. Always just use and abuse them as a Search Tool! People who run this $#*! show are tools themselves so you might as well treat them as such.
I just returned from a flight to Europe and kiwi screwed up my baggage allowance and booked me under a different reference number as my family so I had to pay extra to be seated with them. Then kiwi did not check me in on the way to our destination and did not check my entire family in on the way from my destination. I had to call overseas to get them to fix that. They have a policy of Never Letting you speak to a supervisor and they will not give you direct access to your tickets at the airline so you can manage them. They refused me over 15 times requesting that I get access to Ryanair tix so I may manage my tickets. Ryanair charges exorbitant fees if you don't check in online. Then Kiwi of course didn't check us in on this Airline to and from our destination at all! I had to call them from outside the country to get it fixed. What a joke this company is.
If you enjoy policing a company that has zero customer service and does not solve their issues when they do come up, then feel free to use them. This is the worst Travel Agency in existence. Great sleek website and a great Search tool, but always always always always book direct!.
Never ever book with this company. If my experience just stops one person from booking with kiwi and I have done my job.

This has been my worst experience yet with third-party websites. Kiwi is the absolute worst, with terrible customer service and policies! I can't believe they're still allowed to operate. I booked a domestic Canadian flight through their website, only to find out it was the first leg of an international connecting flight. The information on their website is unclear and unreliable.
After booking the flight, I realized I needed my passport because it was considered an international flight. However, I was traveling domestically back home, and who brings their passport for a domestic trip? No one!
Since the flight was with Westjet, I called them to cancel, but they said they couldn't. However, Westjet's cancellation policy allows cancellations within 24 hours of booking, and I've canceled flights with them multiple times before, even when booking through third-party websites like Mytrip or Flighthub. Westjet's customer service told me I had to check in at the airport in person and ask a Westjet agent to cancel the second leg, which they obviously couldn't do since they didn't book the flight in the first place.
So, I called Kiwi again to ask them to at least cancel the second leg of the flight, stating that I didn't even want a refund. However, they also said they couldn't do that. It's worth mentioning that it takes up to five hours to speak with one of their managers!

The entire process with Kiwi felt like a big scam.
Time and again, i tried to get service, and was unable.
1. since the booking is done through Kiwi, their email/credentials are used - which prevents customer from logging in to the airlines websites, and Kiwi is not willing to provide the required information for log in.
2. about 10 minutes after i booked my flight i wanted to change it. In Kiwi's website it says that as long as the reservation wasn't forwarded to the airline, changes can still be made. However - through the website + customer support i wasn't able to change the flight. After checking - they said changes can only be made after the flight is fully booked and approved.
3. I paid for extra luggage (checked-in), and wanted to cancel the payment - they said it will take up to 30 days to know if it can be cancelled or not.
4. i wanted to reserve sits. In the airline website it says that children under the age of 12 don't have to pay for reserved sits, however Kiwi did charge for these sits.
The general feeling is just of a big scam, and that their customer support is doing everything in their power not to help

Thank you for your email, although this is incredibly disappointing news.
At the time that we applied for a refund to the last leg of our trip I was told by Kiwi.com to talk directly to Air China about the situation because it was based on the emergence of the coronavirus outbreak and concerns about traveling to China. Air China told us that there was nothing they could do about our booking because it had been made with Kiwi.com even though they had published on their website ways for refunds to be made due to the virus situation at that time.
The result of this is that we are going to avoid traveling with Air China whenever possible from now on and will not be using Kiwi.com services in the future. The inability of these two massive companies to help us despite several phone calls that I made to follow procedures and policies in the midst of a situation that was completely out of our control - and a decision that was made with the best interest of the safety of my family at the time - is incredibly disappointing and speaks to the fact that an economic bottom line is more important than customer safety or service from either company.

After booking our trip, I decided to upgrade our seats, so I asked Kiwi on Facebook messenger to provide details of the actual differences in "premium", "regular", and "budget" seats as they were marked on the Kiwi app and here was their reply:
"To focus on your inquiry, please be informed that Economy class cabins or seats can have two categories - Regular and Premium. Passengers who fly Regular Economy will get standard service and a basic type of accommodation, while those who fly Premium Economy will get more comfortable seats in terms of space and/or a wider range of on-board menu items. Lastly, Budget seats are usually the least expensive since they are narrower than normal seats and this class is considered to be lower than Regular Economy."
Based on that information, I chose and paid for "Premium" seats as they were marked on the app, which were the most expensive.
When we got to the airport, we were told by the airline that those seats were NOT premium.
I called Kiwi upon returning from the trip to request a refund since we did not get what we paid for and they refused.
Kiwi is dishonest. Do not use this company.

I was desperate to travel from Australia to Philippines to see my sick grandma. I choose kiwi.com because it was the only flight available at an earliest convenience. The flight cost me $5400. I got to the airport and the airline staff told me that I could not fly because I am not allowed to transit in Taiwan. I find this absolutely ridiculous how a company can sold me a ticket when it is not valid for flying. It's been 7 months now I am still waiting for my refunds. I tried to contact the company and the robot on the phone response was "we can not answer your call because your not our customer". This has made me outraged! I called again and the same thing happens. There is just not a possible way to contact this company. They are an absolute scam. How can a company run business like this. This is the worst business in 31st century and should be closed down. After searching the company information, I found out it's a Czech republic company and they have a very poor international standard. We should not support terrorist.
