Before I will start describing all awfulness of this experience I want to highlight that people from support is always ready to help and is really polite. But, why I should call this support at all?
The main issue was with boarding passes. We have two different flights on our way from Poland to Portugal. The thing is, that second flight was rescheduled. That is why we had a huge delay in receiving the second boarding passes in a way there. It was noted, that we should receive the boarding passed two days before, and we did not. First, we were promised (me and my friend who have a trip) that we will receive the second boarding pass later this day. When it was the time, we called again, and support informed us that boarding passes might come tomorrow. Although, I had a bus the next day and I won't be able to print them. Sorry, but I do not want to spend around $50 in the airport for printing instead of free printing at my home. Just after the third call not in the nicest mood we received them. As support explained to us, there was a technical issue because the flight was rescheduled. Come on, guys. In the era of high tech, you are saying that problem with rescheduled flights is such big issues to you while using life bot for support?
The same thing was with the way back. While my friend receives them in the morning, I did not receive any boarding passes, while my friend already did. The thing was that we again needed two boarding passe and we were promised to receive second in exact time, which we of course didn't. After a previous case, of course, we were concerned and called to Kiwi a lot. I called two times from the roaming, it took a lot of time, effort and money. After my calls, of course, I receive them. But, why should I do that to simply receive my boarding passes? There were no rescheduling, then why there should be delays?
I am sorry guys, but you are just reselling the tickets from a different company. Your whole business is based on your support, as you are not proposing your own product. Please, dedicate more money in technologies and everything will be okay. But, due to my experience, I will better buy tickets directly (it is cheaper, btw) and do everything by myself.

My situation was like this:
1. Flight Guangzhou -> Beijin -> Vladivostok
2. The 1 flight landed Ordos instead of Beijin and was delayed for 2 days (!)
I spend 1 night in hotel in Ordos
3. After we landed in Ordos the very next time I call to Kiwi.com to ask to change my second flight (because I already missed it). They say they can do it, but I need to pay 600 USD more.
Finally I had to buy a new ticket by myself (Ordos ->Hongkong->Vladivostok). Then I asked for refund because I missed connection flight and I get only 27 USD refund (for 400 USD tickets)

Even if you airplane landed in another city and you stuck for 2 days we will "help" you a lot: you will buy everything buy yourself. You will need to get out of city like Ordos first (pay by yourself of course). Then you will need to buy tickets to get to your final destination.
And when you ask for refund you will get something like 30 USD. And "we will find free alternative for you if you missed flight" mean you will need yo pay extra 600 USD.

I was due to travel from Manchester, UK to New York JFK and booked flights through Kiwi, to fly with Virgin Atlantic. We arrived at the airport 3 hours before travelling to check-in, arrived at the desk and was advised they couldn't find our booking. After speaking to another Virgin Atlantic representative, I was informed that Kiwi had cancelled our booking with Virgin and that we would need to pay for more flights to be able to travel. The Virgin representative highlighted that Kiwi should have been the ones to inform us of this, but of course we had no such correspondence.
I contacted Kiwi when we returned home from the airport as unfortunately there were no seats left on our flight, or any other available flights the same day. After explaining the situation over the phone to a representative from Kiwi, he stated I should have been on board the plane at the time of my phone call and asked why I had "missed my flight". After re-explaining that I had not missed my flight, but Kiwi had cancelled our booking without our instruction or without notifying us, he advised he would need to contact Virgin and would get back to me via email. I later received an email offering me a refund of €10 for "voluntary cancellation" - note that we pain in excess of £1300 for our original flights. I have tried to contact someone from Kiwi using their online messaging service but I am yet to hear back.
I searched for my original flights through Skyscanner which took me to the Kiwi website. Only after booking did I see some of the reviews but hoped that, because we were travelling to New York for a wedding and would therefore be unlikely to cancel, we should be okay. But no. Please do not book through Kiwi.com, they cannot be trusted and are not worth the stress. Judging by the reviews, I'm not convinced we'll get a refund anytime soon, if at all.

This has to be one the WORSE companies I have ever come across. Please please please AVOID. I booked a flight and purchased extra luggage which they charged me for it, and then a day before my flight they informed me that my luggage was not included and had no explanation for this accept claiming that I apparently logged in the app and changed the flight details which is complete RUBBISH! They advised me to purchase luggage at the airport instead which I did and had to pay double the amount because it was at the airport. They agreed that they will refund me if I did purchase extra luggage at the airport, I sent them receipts like they requested and they came back saying they will not issue me a refund and they STILL charged me for the first luggage I purchased when I booked the flight. They are a fraud company and even at the airport the staff said they always get complaints about this company and to advised to not book with them again. This will be the first and last time I ever book through them. Please be CAREFUL they will scam you!

Based on my experience with Kiwi.com, all I can say is that they have mastered the art of scamming, and selling air tickets only appears to be their side hustle. I am surprised that this company has been able to get away with everything that they are doing to their customers. I purchased one ticket that I "Changed" to a different destination, hoping that the total price will be adjusted, however, I lost $670 on this occasion. The changed ticket left me stranded at one of my transit points and Kiwi.com could not do anything, not even a refund (lost another $150). On my way back to Canada, Kiwi again appeared to be a cheaper option, so I booked my ticket via Sharjah where I wanted to transit, however, I later found out that Sharjah airport doesn't accept transit visas from my country (lost another $400). After all my losses, I was careful, so, I booked my next ticket via Dubai where I could transit. Bought my new ticket for $1600. Unfortunately, this time immigration was a problem for me and I had to buy another ticket for $400 to go back home and lose all of my ticket to Canada. Totally disappointed and broke, I fixed my immigration related problem and again bought a new ticket via Dubai after a few days for another $1600. The first flight from my city was event free, however, the second flight from Dubai to Frankfurt was cancelled without any warning. Also, this meant that I would miss my Frankfurt to Calgary flight as well. I was stranded at Dubai this time and had to buy yet another ticket ($1700) to be able to make it to Canada in one piece. After all this, Kiwi.com refunded me no money at all, not even the 10 Euros that they offer after a change to a saver ticket. Sorry, I had to summarize my story in a hurry, but please be careful with this company. I will never buy a ticket from them and will always be exposing these scammers on every forum, I promise.

Booked orund trip Air Italy with Kiwi. Air Italy went out of business and Kiwi sent email options (with no expiration date) 1 day later they sent me another email with immediate expiration. I booked a trip to pick up a puppy on 11)14 evening. On 11/15 morning, I received a payment link from them for $215.90. I found out I make round trip for puppy, he only needs return trip. I called around 900 am, explained the story to them, requested they changed it to return trip, and send me a update payment link. They said they would. On 12/16, in stii have not received anything, so I called around 0800 am. Explained it to them, and said please, this trip is to pick up the puppy, I really like to get this taken care of it. They said no worries, they will re send me link. Around 600pm, I still not get anything. I called again. They claimed I let payment link expired. I said that is not correct, the link expired is the 1st one. They insisted they sent me 2nd link, I asked them to provide the time, they said 12/15 at 1115 am. If that was true, I called around 0800am on 11/16, per their policy it should not expired at that time. They could not provide answer. I requested to transfer to supervisor, it only got worse. The supervisor who called himself Aman, stated they have approve, they sent me 2nd payment link on 11/15@ 0714 am, the only problem is I did not request the 2nd link until 0900 am. Somehow, they read my mind, did all that on their own

Our flight was cancelled for work and I cant get a refund. The airplane when on the tarmac turned around, went back to the terminal and we had to get off. We were told the flight was cancelled. We were left at the airport with no help.
We managed a get a twin room in a nearby hotel for 3 of us.
Someone back in the UK managed to arrange another flight with BA for the next day.
Our company booked 1 flight direct with Ryanair and because it was cancelled we have got a full refund for 1 of the tickets - booked direct with Ryanair flight.
The 3 tickets booked indirectly through Kiwi we cannot get any sense out of them to get a refund for the cancelled flight. I have spent alot of time and engery dealling with Kiwi
Because they made the booking, and we paid them they have to get the refund which is like banging your head against a brick wall.
Ryanair said that Kiwi would have to get the refund back and Kiwi would refund me - This has not happened.

Terrible experience! I'll never recomend this website to anyone! I bought a ticket a flight to Viena, Austria, and I had so much problems, such as ENDLESS VERIFICATIONS (with selfies and extra fees) and so much issues with Ryanair, that I had to go TWICE to the airport to solve the questions IN PERSON at the company's balcony!
(In the same day I went to the airport, other people were in the queue with the same problems and they were totally dissatisfied with the situation)
KIWI sold me a flight with a connection of ONLY 40 MINUTES. That's exactly what you're reading: 40 MINUTES BETWEEEN ONE FLIGHT AND OTHER (from Lisbon - Viena). If anything had went wrong, I WOULDN´T GET ANY COMPENSATION, according to the flight laws.
At the end, I DECIDED TO GAVE UP ON TAKE THIS FLIGHT AND I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER TICKET, AS I WAS FEELING UNSAFE ABOUT THE JOURNEY.

I had never had a bad experience with Kiwi, but that all changed with a recent trip that I took to Greece. I booked tickets through Kiwi and was all set to go on a long haul flight: DFW -> Iceland -> England -> Greece.
When I landed in Iceland, I found out my flight had been delayed (something to do with a strike I was told), by the time I got to London and made it through customs, my connecting flight was already gone. I spent an hour on the phone trying get through to customer service, and never got a response. After about 4 hours of trying and failing to get some kind of answer as to when I could get another flight, I just gave up and booked a new flight on a different airline that cost me $379.00
I applied for a refund on the website because I had the "Kiwi Guarantee" and was notified that my application would be processed within 30 days. So, almost 400 dollars down in funds for my vacation, and exhausted after spending nearly 40 hours in transit I finally landed in Greece.
A month later, I received a refund of, $9.70... What an absolute joke. I contacted Kiwi customer service to find out how a cancelled flight gets a refund of just 9 dollars. The person who was dealing with my issue was honestly a bit brusque, and not very helpful. I was told to apply for the refund again, and that I would have to wait another 30 days.
In the end, I didn't receive any kind of substantive refund; just the nine dollars, which is honestly more of a slap in the face than a refund. If this is Kiwi's version of a guarantee, then they can keep it.
I've booked with them many times and have recommended them to my friends and family, but that stops now.
I will never use their service again, and neither will any of my friends and family. An absolutely appalling way to do business.
