If I could give them zero stars I would! They have such poor customer service and like everyone else said, they are thieves. We paid so much money for flights for 4 to Europe but due to COVID-19 we couldn't go. One of our flights even got canceled. We paid extra to have kiwi get us most refund back. Instead they did not even get a third of our money back. When you call them, they narrate the same speech over and over. They are useless. They lie and say airline only refunded them some money and not all but when you call the airline, they say they refunded all of it. Will never use kiwi.com again.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid them!! Save yourself a lot of headache by paying a little extra upfront!

It will be our first and LAST experience with Kiwi.com. After we booked our flight within 48 hours we received a notification that one of the flight was canceled by the carrier. Upon Calling the carrier (Morocco airlines) we were told that on the same date of the booking there were no PNRs on our name( SCAM). Then they send us rebooking alternatives for additional 600 dollars to rebook either that or cancel the booking and won't tell us the refund amount. When pressed they tell us that we may not refund u at all (mind you they are the one cancelled the flight). When asked for a customer care contact in india (worlds most populous country) they surprisingly don't have a contact and apparently we should make an international call to the UK to get this thing sorted. So overall - we should pay for rebooking or cancelling the partial booking for the flights THEY cancelled! And they ensure u can't reach out to them by asking us to call International.

My booking was in January 2020, cancelled by British Airways in May 2020. Hundreds of DM's, emails and heartache later I'm still awaiting a refund. I've tried chargeback to my credit card which they disputed and won, I tried a Section 75 claim which wasn't accepted as Kiwi are a 3rd party and not the airline direct. Kiwi.com are basically thieves. You can't contact them by phone, they take months to respond to messages and when they do respond it's worthless (they just blame the airline) My next stop is to complain to Which and every other complaints and media (social and traditional) channel I can come up with, as they aren't getting away with this and I would encourage anyone else who has this experience (I. E everyone who booked with them just prior to the pandemic) to do the same.

On February 2,2020 my credit card was charged by KIWI in the amount of $3149. 59 for a round trip Boston-London-Minsk-Paris-Boston, three passengers, July 7 - July 22,2020. Kiwi booking # *******.
The flights were canceled by the airlines and I paid a fee to KIWI for expedite refund on June 11,2020 (that fee was partially refunded by KIWI on February 19,2021).
On November 19,2020, KIWI reported to me that two vouchers had been issued to me by Belavia (total $422.42) - it was impossible to use it as their existence was repeatedly denied by Belavia itself and the vouchers were valid only until the end of 2020 according to KIWI.
On December 8,2020, I received a refund of $1543. 06 from KIWI.
There has not been any attempt by KIWI, real or otherwise, to refund remaining $1184. 11 despite my efforts.

I purchased a LDN to NY ticket for my son. He received a confirmation email a day before the trip but once he showed up at the airport he was told by the airline that the trip had been cancelled and that he didn't have a seat on the plane! He had to purchase another ticket on the spot at double the price to get on the plane. This happened August 2nd 2022 we are September 30th 2022 and are still waiting for a refund in spite of numerous emails and phone calls. Total rip off!

I purchased 5 airplane tickets with this company. All flights were with Ryanair. With the coronavirus pandemic, all flights were cancelled by Ryanair.
Kiwi.com told me to request the value from Ryanair which I did and Ryanair returned the value of the tickets. But Ryanair only returned 70% of the value which I paid to kiwi.com because this was the price of the tickets and kiwi.com refused to return the other 30% of the tickets value which was their comission.
This company is a scam, they are not serious.

This third party is a WASTE of time. They don't do anything to help if the airline makes a change. They do NOT provide you with:
1. Confirmation number for your flight or airline 2. Do not provide your contact or payment information to the airlines that you have booked a flight with. If you ask for help, they throw up their hands and say too bad if you didn't buy their "Kiwi Guarantee" which if you read carefully, doesn't give you ANYTHING when/if there is an actual change beyond your control! I had a flight booked after a cruise. Spirit Airlines moved my flight to leave at 7am and I dont doc until 8am! Not my fault but this was their answer. I ended up on the phone doing THEIR JOB FOR HOURS!. ITS A SCAM!

"I bought tickets for my family from Israel to Dubai with the 'Kiwi Guarantee' insurance, and obviously, due to what is happening right now, we will not be traveling to Israel, and we will not be using those tickets. All the other companies and hotels had no issues and refunded our money, except for the scammers at KIWI, who are only offering to refund me 10 Euros in credit on their website. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If you want support, buy directly, and especially, do not purchase their 'insurance' or 'guarantee' because they will only take your money and not provide any real assistance."

I had the worst experience with Kiwi as I instantly cancel my flight since there was a mistake on the hour selection which in the policy it is mentioned you have 48 hours to cancel and I was not refund nothing back to my card neither the kiwi credits. Customer service not understandable and helpful at all. Neither an email of flight confirmation was send and if you see my activity is mentioned I cancel the flight and even though never received my money back. DO NOT TRUST KIWI

So my friend was coming out to visit. She booked her ticket on Kiwi.com. She is oxygen and was told there would be an upcharge of $600.00 to fly. She is on a fixed income and couldn't afford the trip. So she immediately cancelled her flight. She was told they would credit her (they are hard to understand). We got the oxygen figured out and went to rebook the flight. Her credit was only $10.54, She lost the rest of the ticket money. She called me to help her. I called them directly and got their greedy sad comments. $10.54 on a $400.00 ticket isn't a refund, that is a ripe off. Told her to never us these kind of companies. Go directly to the airlines. Lesson learned. Shame on them!

I used them to fly to Guatemala and back to Mexico. Upon arrival to the airport Interjet said I was no able to fly to Mexico because I did not have a visa which is not never for a resident of the USA. I called kiwi.com and they did nothing even though I purchased insurance. They said I needed a letter for Interjet and would give me a flight it I paid for it. DO NOT trust this company.

T is a scam
It is a scam! I booked a flight using Kiwi for 800$ on Emirates. A day before the flight they claimed that Emirates flight was canceled and that I need to purchase a new flight and request a refund. I called Emirates, it turned out that it wasn't canceled! It has been a year since I requested the refund without any payment.

BE CAREFUL of these BAD COMPANY!
I have accidentally booked a round-trip flight in the wrong date (1 week interval).
It costed me 350 USD.
10 seconds after the buy, I have tried to cancel the booking, and called the customer service.
They told me I can get a refund of ONLY 10EURO (!). And that I cannot change the date / name of the ticket.
This is a really garbage service.

Booking Reference: *******... KIWI.com are the absolute "WORST" flight booking company EVER!. Book with these people and you are throwing your money down the drain!... I paid £230 extra for disruption insurance, and it isn't worth the paper it's written on!... My outbound flight was delayed by 2 hours causing a ripple effect to all my connecting Flights, Car Rental and Hotel. All KIWI did was re-schedule my flights to get me there a day later. They told me the only way to change my return dates and preserve the length of my Holiday was to enter a claim after I return to the UK an then they could re-book my return flights. This would clearly involve the use of a time machine and as such is impossible. I argued with them and begged them to change my return flights during my call 3 days before the return flights, but they refused and kept saying I had to follow the procedure and make the claim after I returned. Upon returning to the UK, I followed their advice and have just been told by their customer service team "I should have requested a change before my return flight", Which is exactly What I DID do, but miraculously they have lost all records of that conversation!. I cannot put into words just how angry that statement made me!.

During 35 years of booking flights around the World. KIWI.com are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Please do not use this company!. They are a complete bunch of cowboys and have no professionalism at all!.

My association with Kiwi.com has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to expose the blatant dishonesty and contemptible practices that define this so-called travel service.

After years of using Kiwi.com without issue, the moment I requested a refund—amounting to a substantial 420 USD—I was met with a grotesque betrayal. Instead of honoring their commitment, these swindlers thought it appropriate to reimburse me a mere 277 USD. Their excuse? A feeble redirection, suggesting I take the matter up with my bank. This is not just incompetence; it's outright theft.

Let me be crystal clear: Kiwi.com is a den of cheaters and unfair operators. Their conduct is an affront to any semblance of business ethics. I wholeheartedly discourage anyone from using their services unless you enjoy being taken advantage of.

What adds insult to injury is their audacity in the face of criticism. Following my scathing review on December 15,2023, Kiwi.com had the gall to contact me, not to resolve the issue, but to beg for the removal of my review. Their attempt to silence me speaks volumes about their priorities – protecting their tarnished image rather than rectifying their own wrongs.

To those considering Kiwi.com, be warned: you're dealing with scammers who lack any semblance of integrity. Don't be fooled by their facade of professionalism. Kiwi.com is a disgrace to the travel industry, and I vehemently urge you to steer clear of these shameless charlatans.

My husband and I booked flights through Kiwi for our honeymoon. We showed up at 5am for our flight and were told that my husband couldn't get on the flight because he didn't have a visa for the 2 hour layover in London.

I've been to nearly 40 countries, and with the exception of the US, never before have I had to enter a country, get my bags, and recheck them while in transit.

Had we gotten on the flight, we would have never made the 2 hour connection, and the next flights were on a totally different carrier.

Needless to say, we had to pay $1800 to re-buy a one-way ticket for 2 so we could get home to our 10 month old.

Moral of the story: if it seems too good to be true, it IS too good to be true.

There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Kiwi sent me my boarding passes after I arrived at my destination. (24 hours later) Useless! Gold coast to Mumbai. (Included 2 stops) I was unable to direct transfer so had to go through immigration get boarding passes x 2. (2 hours+ in line K. L) I arrived 29th. Passes sent 30th...

The company don´t help ou if there is changes in the flight made the airline. They only say that they can help because you didn´t get the extra support. But in this case The change was made by the airline. The Kiwi say cancel, and we will give you 10€ with us for the next trip. And after they cancel the ticket and get all the money for then. GREAT COSTUMER CARE, i 1st and last buy in this website.

Kiwi.com are terrible please do not use, I have had flights canceled due to the Coronavirus and they want me to pay them a fee of 25% & a 6 month wait for what they owe me in a refund. Every other company is allowing instant cancellation and full refunds but not them! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Kiwi is a scam travel agency - they refunded only $11 of a $640 ticket purchase. Delta willing to refund fully but Kiwi will not work with them on getting this taken care - stay away

There are enough bad reviews, I wish I'd looked them up before clicking "purchase". But I'll add my experience. They specialize in finding cheaper fares that continue on somewhere beyond your destination (like NYC->London->Paris might be cheaper than NYC->London) - but consider this:
1) If you search for those fares, you'll find them, too - at even lower prices than kiwi.com quotes. Two minutes after I "purchased", I searched and found exactly the same flight for about 2/3rds the price.
2) I tried to cancel within 5 minutes (they offer free cancellation as long as the ticket isn't booked), but even though I got an immediate "response" ticket for that, they didn't do anything about it until after I got the notice that booking was complete, about 18 hours later. No service integrity on their part, but I understand their motivation to make money off people. Plus, no matter what, 18 hours is a long time to wait for ticket confirmation!
3) Since the ticket is so messed up (to an extra destination; booked through an agent, not an actual airline), it's difficult at the airport, especially during the pandemic when so many flight conditions change quickly. I had to spent an extra hour at the check-in counter since the my prep work for the "non-destination" had changed and I needed to fill out extra forms. Several other people were having the same problem. Even though kiwi.com tells you that you should plan on no more than a few kilograms in a small carry-on bag (since any checked luggage may get lost, or sent to the "non-destination", the whole thing is real pain.

A complete waste of time and money.
