I booked my flight from Peurto Vallarta Mexico to Oakland through Kiwi.com. They had me going through Guadalajara airport from Puerto Vallarta with 1 hour and 36 min to spare for an international flight. That meant getting off the plane and having to check in. Their website would not let me check in on line. I had not checked my bag so I ran to the ticket counter to check in. There were about 50 people waiting to check in. By now I was under an hour to catch my flight. I pushed my way to the front of the line, got yelled at and begged to get on the flight to Oakland and I was told the flight was closed. I spent the next 5 hours trying to get a flight home. There was only 1 airline that flew to the US and I was told the next flight was 1/11. It was the 5th of jan. I finally got someone to work with me, got a flight to Denver then home. Took over 30 hours and $1100 extra. The origional flight cost was $650. With loss of wages and hotel and cab etc it was a $2500 loss. The Kiwi.com guarantee only gave me back $500 despite the receipts etc. It was clearly their fault that they booked it so poorly and I do not suggest dealing with them. Although they are "scripted nice" they don't know what they are doing and many don't speak clear English. I called every day for 7 days straight.

Copa Airlines treat me as a fraudulent person since i purchase my flight from IAD to PTY and Kiwi make my reservation IAD to PTY and GUA. This make the airline to see me as I purchase a different final destination flight in order to get a better rate. They treat me very bad in and Copa Airlines makes me pay extra 300USD per person extra to stop in PTY.

Flight (connecting flight) was booked through KIWI.COM.
Upon arrival to first destination, we learned that the scheduled flight out was cancelled by the airlines more than 2 days ago. KIWI failed to send cancellation notice email of flight. This experience resulted in spending over $400 on hotel stay and miscellaneous. Contacted KIWI, provided all receipts to support my argument, here is the response I received by email from them:
"Unfortunately, after contacting the airline, we found out that no refund is available for your booking"
We called the airline (Turkish Airlines) who specifically said that their flight was cancelled 2 days prior to the scheduled flight and booking company (KIWI) was supposed to notify all effected customers.
When calling my credit card company (Capital One) and disputed the charge, the representative replied with: "Yes, we are dealing with KIWI refunds quite often, stay away from them".
PEOPLE: STAY AWAY FROM BOOKING WITH KIWI.COM. They cost me $400 and a lot more...

Let me share this ongoing, terrible experience with Kiwi, a company in which you don't want to spent not even 1 dollar for sure:
1. I've made a reservation (I thought I did, at least) via Kiwi, in a total of 2.363,69€
2. Day before the flight, received an email from Kiwi saying that it was impossible to do the check in online. Therefore, I should do so in the airport
3. Arrived at the airport and the airline company was not able to find any detail about my reservation: employees from the airline tried everything (kiwi reservation number, names), but it was useless – I didn't have a set in that airplane
4. Contacted Kiwi customer service right away. After explaining the issue, waited 20 minutes for a new call to try to solve the situation
5. Kiwi customer support talked with someone from the airline company. In the end, the employee from the airline company told me that the ticket reservation had been suspended
6. From Kiwi, until this day, I'm still waiting for a justification on what happened
7. Worse than waiting for the justification, is waiting for the refund (that I obviously have the right to receive): I've explained the issue in point number 4; in multiple interactions in Kiwi chat; via email with Kiwi claims' team and THEY NEVER KNOW what's the issue (tremendous LACK OF COORDINATION), systematically asking me for e.g. proof of check in fees (EXPLAINED SO MANY TIMES I WAS NOT ABLE TO CHECK IN)

I just bought a flight with them and 1h later I go to the airline's webpage to manage the booking and I have the information that the flight was cancelled. Meaning that Kiwi just sold tickets for a flight that was already canceled.
Furthermore, they will not reply to your calls or messages. Saying that their customer support is poor is incorrect. They have NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL, as I have been trying to call and messaging them for over a week and they did not reply.

I ordered a flight itinerary through them because of their claims that they would make my trip as smooth as possible. When West Jet suddenly changed my departing flight to a day earlier and added a 14 hr layover, I tried to contact them and see what they could do. Their answer was. We can do nothing, if you want a different flight cancel this booking and book another one... the kicker you will have to wait 3 to 5 mths and you will have to pay cancelation fee... West Jet is charging ZERO cancelation fee... so Kiwi is stealing this money. This company is 100% fraudulent and will steal money and blame the flight carriers for it. I asked to speak with a supervisor in regards to this 3 days ago... was told I would get call back from 1 in 2 hrs... 3 days later no call and when I call to talk with supervisor I am told their is not 1 there or not available. This company is a complete SCAM... DO NOT USE THEM EVER!

I came back to my country after traveling to South America with my parents.
However, during the trip, Kiwi site contacted me that the reservation was canceled 3 hours 30 minutes before boarding.
I just went to the airport, worried if it was true. And I didn't have any other choice.
When I showed the details of my payment and reservation, the airline staff was also embarrassed.
Because They Coudn't check my name.
If I could have bought another ticket, I would have bought it right away.
However, it was El Calapate in Argentina.
It's a place where there aren't many flights, and all of them all sold out on that day.
Originally, it was a flight to Iguazu via Buenos Aires.
But eventually, there were no seats in until the next afternoon.
So I took the premium economy and went over to Buenos Aires at the late afternoon.
Kiwi gave me all the refunds, but when I looked at the loss afterwards, it was about $1780.
(Including buying tickets again)
But, money is no matter. And I can go back later.
But it was first and last chance for my parents. Kiwi ruined my family's trip.
I'm really upset and I never use again Kiwi.

I purchase Kiwi with Skyscanner site last March ticket from Manila Singapore another ticket Singapore Toyko. Manila with kiwi In Manila first sector to Singapore Jetstar had over booking due cancellation of previous flight many passage have been stranded in the airport

I had the most horrible experience with kiwi. I booked a flight from Orlando, Florida, USA to Hat Yai, Thailand. The price was good, and the scheduling worked for me.
The trip was from Orlando, Florida to Frankfurt, Germany to Bangaluru, India to Bangkok, Thailand to Hat Yai Thailand.
About 2 and a half hours before the flight they changed my itinerary. The new trip was from Orlando to Frankfurt to Singapore to Bangaluru to Bangkok to Hat Yai.
The flight from Bangaluru to Bangkok left before the flight from Singapore to Bangaluru departed. I called kiwi before I boarded the flight in Orlando. They said that they would fix the problem. I wanted to remain on the phone until it was fixed but they assured me that they would fix it and it would automatically be reflected in the app. I trusted them and took the flight from Orlando to Frankfurt, Germany. When I arrived there, I immediately went to the gate for the flight to Bangaluru. They said that I was not on the flight. I called kiwi. They said that they could not help me and that I must buy a new ticket to my destination. I took the flight to Singapore but I did not take the flight to Bangaluru. If I did I would have been stranded in India. I bought a ticket directly from Singapore to Hat Yai.
I called my bank, Wellfargo and they got me a full refund for the trip.
I will never use kiwi again and do not recommend that anyone does.

10 years using kiwi BUT TIME CAME TO STOP! Booked flight to Cologne for 127$ one way then realized that i have only 3KG! Buy additional carry on with kiwi ++++106$$$$ INSANE! Messaged them & they referred to PEGASUS POLICY. BIG LIE. Checked PPEGASUS same date&Ticket to Cologne 146USD$ = 3kg+12kg Carry on + 20kg Check in all included! IT IS A RIPP OFF. NEVER AGAIN WITH KIWI. CHECK BY YOURSELF.

So I sent them a request to change my domestic flight from Surat - Delhi. As my father is not feeling well I wanted to extend my stay in India. In current situation airlines are not charging any fees for any modification or change of dates. Air India is my career and they are not charging any fees for change of dates but these guys (Kiwi) just want to take advantage and completely ignore any government or airline policies. I would request all and everyone whom do ever is reading this. To never ever buy any kind of services through kiwi.com you will regret. They don't care about your situation they will ignore all the government and airline policies. This is my first of many feedback I am going to give for them all over the internet so that no body ever buys any services from them. Also going to post an article in the newspapers so that more people get aware of their looting. I'll ask you all the people who are interested in my rewiew a question. Please look into my situation- My father is ill. The airlines are not charging any fees for making the changes so if I have to make the changes though travel agent why Do they have to charge me. My final destination is. San Francisco I got lucky that Delhi to San Francisco flight was through United and when I contacted United airlines they did the change for me. Otherwise these people were asking me to pay the full amount of my total fare to make the changes. I am currently not able to make the changes onto my Air India flight because of kiwi as Air India stated any booking made though travel agent has to be changed through the same agent. I want you all to answer the question is this fair on me and then you decide if you really want to book anything with these fraudsters. Good luck

You guys spelled the passengers name Eyra Melissa Rodriguez Gomez: as EM RodriguezGomez on her boarding pass
Frontier printed this on her boarding pass. She wasn't able to get through security with her name spelled wrong.
The line to get through security was really long and the wait time was long. Frontier told her it was going to cost $715 to reprint her name correctly on the boarding pass, unless she called kiwi to get it fixed.
I called you guys, 30 minutes on the phone, I was told I would be called back 30 minutes later. By the time you fixed the error it was too late.
We paid $715, which is complete robbery to frontier or whoever at the cancun airport to reprint her boarding pass with her name corrected... because even after you fixed the problem, the time it would take her to go back to the frontier desk and wait in line to get the new boarding pass, and then get back in the long line for security, she would have missed her flight.
This person is coming to denver to speak at a conference on Friday and Saturday for 80+ guests who all paid their entry fees already. And you guys are fucing up her name on the boarding pass, when the order was made with her name spelled correctly.
What a horrible experience.
We need to be reimbursed this $715 asap.

I booked my ticket two weeks in advance from London to Rotterdam. All the confirmation where sent by email and on the app. I was flying with BA. I got to the Airport 2 hours ahead as you do, ready to check in only to find out my ticket had been cancelled by BA as they no longer work with Kiwi (as per the manager not a trustworthy company). It was Kiwi responsability to inform em of thsi change. This was real nightmare as I had no idea of the cancellation. I initially paid 150GBP for my ticket, I called Kiwi at the airport; no luck, with no much time left I needed to catch this flight as my daughtrer was already waiting for me in Rotterdam. I had to spent 370GBP to get me there. I called Kiwi nightmare customer services on Monday and this is what I was told
They need to confirm that my ticket was cancelled (even though teh BA website clearly states the ticket was cancelled and a refund was being issued)
They had to conduct an investigation and make sure there was a cancellation!. When I asked how long it will take she said 'I will do my best ' and there was no time scale on how long this will take.
When I requested how long it will take for my money to be refunded they said that the 'possible' refund will take 3-6 months!
Please do not use this company at all! I should have come here before booking

I want to denounce KIWI and KISS & FLY companies. I purchased a ticket with Kiwi and they seemed to be reliable at the beginning. After I purchased my ticket, they changed the schedule of the flight and sent me an email. Then I just wanted my refund and I have been waiting since August 10th and now it's December and NOTHING! I wrote them emails and tried to contact them through phone but the operator asks you to put the booking #, then it picks up that it's an old booking # and automatically says bye and hangs you up. It's totally a scam AND THIEVES! Unfortunately, I called after 60 days to my bank to get a chargeback but they told me that VISA gives you a period of 60 days only. Now it's too late and I'm worried about my $300 that I paid to this fake company. Kiss&Fly are even worse! Be careful, if you go to skyscanner and they give you a cheap price, some prices might come from these websites and they show up in Skyscanner. If someone knows how I recover my refund, please help!
