This company is awful, the service is awful, think twice about using them. Booked family vacation along with hotel car rentals tours a few days prior canceled. The Internal Revenue Service has better help then these folks. They tell you the might get you some of your money back in 90 days. So you pay thousands for your ticket and they might get you a few hundred if your LUCKY modern day theives. I paid for a product I did not get the product through no fault of my own and they want to KEEP AS MUCH OF YOUR MONEY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. This company has no moral compass has no problem doing the wrong thing because they are a foreign company and can get away with things the american companies would never be able to do. I would highly recommend everyone who has a problem with this crazy people to contact KAYAK, SKYSCANNER and the other airline sites letting them know of your problems and helping others as well. If you are an American I would highly recommend you NOT BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY if you ever want to see your vacation or your money again. See the name Kiwi.com - RUN RUN RUN THE OTHER WAY
Tip for consumers:
all people if you have a problem with these crazies contact the site you booked them off of. Kayak.com , Skyscanner or what ever. Put them on facebook. It may not help you but it will prevent others people from being taken. If you are an American - Do not book with the people as they are not held to the same standards as american companies. I think thats why they think its acceptable to keep your money for 90 plus days and MAYBE GET YOU A FEW CRUMBS IN RETURN

had days to book a tickets with the same airline. Right now Kiwi has stolen my money and i have contacted my redit card company and filed a dispute for product not being received through no fault of my own. I didnt cancel the ticket they did and then want 90 days plus to MAY GET SOME OF YOUR MONEY BACK. Its a scam what if i had paid thousands (1500.00) for my plain ticket are you only going to give a few hundred back unacceptable

I booked a one way ticket to Athens from Lisbon.
With 11hrs layover In Milan where its mentioned on the itinerary that they cover with Kiwi Guarantee.
Then they changed my flight 3 times making its 42hrs and 15 min of Layover in Milan.
Upon asking for the Kiwi Guarantee they said its a Force Majeure due to Covid and when I asked how can it be related to covid when for the flight we have 80 days they replied its the WizzAir decision and they cannot do anything.
When i tried to contact WizzAir they mentioned Kiwi.com used their own payment system including their phone number and email hence, I cannot get information myself with the airliness.
There customer support is ridiculous and always replies using templates. The phone support is close until you have 15 days remaining for the flight.
I normally do not leave reviews but this was the worst customer service I had so far. I Have been to under developed countries and even their customer service was better than Kiwi.com.
Pay bit more with others than buying something cheap with Kiwi.com.
Avoid using these scammers go with the airlines directly. They are like elephants teeth, shows something does something else. They will find every possible way of not paying the money to your or pay for the guarantee. As you do not have direct access with the airliness they can lie and you do not have a way to confirm either. They blame the airliness and thats it. Go to > bbb.org and you will see what i am saying.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid these people. They show you the attractive sweet Cover but its rotten inside.
If you don't mind using money and want to gamble It then its for you.
Feels like a virtual roulette.

My experience with kiwi.com has been awful. I was in the Azores when Trump banned all flights to the US from Europe except for flights from the UK were allowed. I hastily made a reservation for a flight from London to Boston using kiwi.com. Thirty minutes later I found out Americans were excluded from the travel ban I canceled my flight on kiwi.com. Because I booked with a saver ticket I got a 10 euro credit on an $1100 flight. I tried to call for several days but was put on hold for numerous hours until I finally gave up. I then disputed the charge with my bank. My bank said I had to pay the amount because of the terms and conditions of kiwi.com even though in the US I would get a full refund because I canceled within 24 hours of making the reservation regardless of the type of ticket. After I heard from my bank I contacted kiwi.com and have spoken with several people including supervisors and they will not refund any more money to me. Today one agent I spoke with said I should have called right when I canceled and I told I did and how I was on hold for hours. She then had the nerve to tell me they were short resources to handle the call volume. She also agreed it wasn't fair but that is their company policy and that travel agents aren't subject to the refund policy I described which isn't true. She suggested I hire a lawyer. She hung up on me when I told her she and her company are just awful. I believe in karma so kiwi.com and the agents I spoke with will get their due as neither did the right thing. I am just a little person with no power so I cannot do much other than to tell my social network to never use kiwi.com an awful company with no regard for people.

I booked a multiple destination ticket AUD-KWT-RUH-AUD using this website because it was the only route that arrives to Riyadh before a scheduled midday business meeting, first two flights went OK with some difficulties due to different airlines terminal's locations. The Big SHOCK was in final flight which was booked directly from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi as per the ticket received from Kiwi, at the Check-in counter at Riyadh airport the Etihad Airways attendant told me the that my flight is going to Delhi-India and I need a visa to travel, I showed him my ticket and insisted that he is wrong, and as per the ticket I am travailing to Abu Dhabi Not Delhi, then after long argument and many calls to Kiwi call center and Etihad Service Center, I realized that Kiwi sell me a ticket going from Riyadh to Delhi with a STOP OVER destination in Abu Dhabi! To solve the issue Kiwi representative in Canada advised me to hide my intention quitting the flight at Abu Dhabi Airport from check-in attendants! Which is against aviation law and she assumed that I have a visa to India and travelling without checked luggage which will be sent to Delhi as final route destination, alternatively I asked Kiwi either to cancel last destination from my booking or totally cancel the ticket and issue me refund, she said she can't do anything for me and there will be no refund!
At the end I decided to buy a new ticket at spot with double price to travel!
In the conclusion, DO NOT CONSIDER THIS WEBSITE FOR TRAVELLING AT ALL.

ZERO STARS ACTUALLY. They booked me on a flight all the way from HRE to MEL as though it were actually possible. (Normally use Flight Centre coz they do all the homework for you). I get to Singapore Air desk in Jburg 28 July 21 and they refused me boarding coz kiwi shouldn't have booked me through NZ according to the lady at the desk (or in the least told me prior so I shouldn't have left). Spoke to an agent from Kiwi, promised to look into rebook... not happening, so returned to HRE after failing to get an alternative route. They flat out refuse to refund me denying all responsibility and now my overnight Singapore layover hotel wont refund me either.
In a nutshell, totally useless, disappointing, unbearable! I used to be certain that travel agents were your go-to people when especially being busy and all. It appears not always! I advise people to book their own flights and skip this scammery/unethical behaviour OR stick with the professionals! If reading small print and going through a multitude of hoops with no advice/direction at all is your cup of latte, then this company ticks all the boxes and more!

I BOOKED A RETURN FLIGHT WITH THEM, BUT ONLY ONE WAY WAS ACTUALLY BOOKED, THE WAY BACK TO THE DESTINATION WAS NEVER ACTUALLY BOOKED. I HAD TO BUY A SECOND TICKET. NEVER TRUST OR BUY TICKEYS FROM THEM
Date of experience: September 17, 2019
I booked a return trip from Johannesburg to Durban on the 30th of May 2022, well in advance of the actual trip. The trip consisted of two flights with different carriers, namely SAA and Kulula Airways. However, at the beginning of June, all Kulula flights were grounded and the firm was subsequently liquidated( began the process on the 14th of June), which was just about two weeks before my departing flight.
Leading up to the trip, the only update I received from the firm is that the time of my departing flight with SAA has changed by 15 minutes. I eventually sent a query using their online messaging system a couple of days before the flight asking for an update. The system did not allow me to cancel the Kulula flight, the only option was to cancel the whole trip. In fear of not being able to afford to purchase an additional ticket as I had received no communication from the company. I was then told by a Club Travel agent(my departing flight was booked under the company) that only Kiwi can process my request so I was given an email address that apparently is under the firm. Note that I say apparently as I still have not received a response from this address however the email still went through. I was only "blessed" with a response a day after the return flight was supposed to take place. However, the wait for a response proved to be useless as I was simply informed that they are "sorry for the late response" and that it was somehow still possible to board a flight from an airline carrier whose planes had been grounded. As it stands, it has been 7 days since I sent my reply, which has not been dignified with a response. I do however doubt I will receive a response as they already have what they want from me, my money as opposed to providing a service in exchange for it.
I really wish I did my due diligence on this company as I see that I am by far not the only one who has been a victim of this firm's unyielding thirst to extract as much as possible from their consumers without returning anything close to that
Tip for consumers:
Do not use it, book directly with airline carriers and save yourself the headache.

I am really torn in between giving this an OK review or a really really bad one. If you do everything correctly and do not make any mistakes or changes, I think in theory everything can go smoothly. But if you need to change passengers, make the tiniest mistake in perhaps the date of someone's birth, it all goes downhill from there. They hide behind a paywall with enormous fees for changing the smallest details, as I said: changing passenger's name, date of birth, ID or passport number... You can pay well over 100 dollars for those. Also, they don't have ANY customer support on their website, so if you do make a mistake or need help in any way, you will end up having to spam their social media (e.g. Facebook or instagram). They do not have any customer service email or phone number, which seems very scammy indeed. We ran into some problems with changing one passenger for another and if I hadn't spammed their instagram, I'm not sure if we would even end up flying to the destination we chose. I would RECOMMEND this only in case you want to fly really low cost. Our tickets were slightly under 40 dollars both to London and back which is fantastic. BUT I would NOT recommend this company for longer and pricier flights. Otherwise if you run into some problems there is a chance you might not get your money back and none wants to risk that.
In conclusion: If the tickets on Kiwi are cheap, maybe give them a try but CHECK all your details, passport or ID numbers, dates of birth THREE times before submitting because the fees are huge. If your tickets are not cheap, do NOT book at Kiwi. Just book the tickets with the original airline. Overall, I would maybe fly again but I'd be super careful with submitting all the details. Use this company at your own risk.
Tip for consumers:
For low cost flying it can be OK if check all your details thoroughly so you don't end up paying any fines. For longer and PRICIER flights I would not recommend - just buy your tickets with the airline you want to fly with!!

I will never buy a ticket from Kiwi in my life again. Stay away!
Long story short, I bought a $2000 ticket from Toronto to Tashkent. I was happy as it was more affordable then other airlines. Fast forward and I get a message that one of my legs was canceled by the airline (TAS to IST). A normal airline would reimburse you but no...they said I could get a refund and they would cancel my entire itinerary (they did not disclose how much I would get) or that I would have to pay an extra $300 for them to find another flight and make sure my literary isn't disturbed. I picked the second option because by reading other reviews, Kiwi is notorious for giving very little money in return as a refund. However, the nightmare continued. I was anxious weeks before my trip and while I was on my trip (mind you, I'm not an anxious person). I was expecting them to pull another trick on me and I was right. Turns out, they picked layovers that were very short on purpose (e.g. 1 hour) and I thought they wouldn't want me to miss a flight, so they must have a rationale behind it. Well, I missed one of my flights because of the short layover. My flight arrived late so I had very little time to make it to the connecting flight. Kiwi was aware of the inbound flight coming late, yet still said it was my fault. This would never happen if a ticket was purchased from a reputable site. They charged me another $300.
This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. And this is coming from a former Flight Attendant.
It is not worth it because you actually end up paying way more than what you signed up for and it will be a mentally stressfull/frustrating experience, which doesn't make any sense if you are trying to get away and relax

Didn't get to where I needed to be, wasn't offered a reasonable replacement flight (they offered for me to wait in the airport for 12 hours to go to my destination on a completely different day, the day I was scheduled to come home) and they don't follow through on their claim that you'll get an "instant refund" with the Kiwi guarantee if something goes wrong. They'll just shrug and say "I dont know why it says that on the website" with an ignorantly "I just work here" attitude that doesnt explain, excuse or acknowledge the BLATANT FALSE ADVERTISING that is occuring here. The first agent i spoke with refused to acknowledge I even purchased the Kiwi guarantee, telling me im "entitled to nothing" and refusing to let me speak to a manager to resolve the issue. The second agent did get me to a manager but the manager just reiterated the same"I dunno" statements as to why the verbiage available to the purchaser isnt being honoured and why there isnt any asterix indicating that the terms of service explain some sort of contradiction (which they dont anyway) I never got to where I needed to be, I wasnt offered a replacement flight, and I wasn't given an instant refund. When I asked what I paid for then, and what the Kiwi guarantee "guarantees" the manager told me its designed so people arent stuck waiting in the airport for another flight...followed by telling me that i needed to wait 12 hours for my "replacement flight" which would have landed in my destination only 5 hours before i was scheduled to fly out from that destination. Worst experience ive literally EVER had.
Tip for consumers:
This is an unethical and total scam. I hope they cease to exist and can only imagine how many people are crying in an airport somewhere because of this blatant false advertising and negligence

I can only relate our excellent experience, of just yesterday. Our college student son was on the return leg of his trip to Europe which had been booked through kiwi.com. Yes, I know all the complaints posted about the service but, in my view, for low cost flights, you get what you pay for in terms of layovers, inconvenience, length of travel etc. Certainly for a 21 year old young man, he can handle it - and even full fare travel is not what it used to be.
The issue arose after he arrived at Stansted Airport in London, where he was to transfer to his flight back to the US. After deplaning he was required to go through immigration and/or customs and/or passport control. However, the line was so long and moved so slowly that he missed his connecting flight through no fault of his own.
I called the customer service number for kiwi. While admittedly it took several calls, ultimately I was connected with Marcus who moved heaven and earth to make things right, honored the kiwi.com guarantee and fixed the problem. I should note that our call was twice disconnected (not sure why) but Marcus dutifully called me right back.
Stansted being a smaller airport, the options were extremely limited and required an overnight stay. New return flights were booked and I ended the phone call satisfied the issue was resolved. Marcus unexpectedly called back about an hour later to advise that the newly planned flights had been overbooked -- but offered an alternative pair of flights through Reykjavik, which we accepted. He also offered a 75 Euro credit/refund towards a hotel room. His efforts could not have been more appreciated.
As I write, my son is waiting at the gate to board his new fight, automatically checked in by kiwi and confirmed at the counter, boarding pass in hand, and we will see him tonight. I would not hesitate to recommend kiwi.com, so long as you recognize the limitations of low cost travel.
P.S.: Being a college kid he opted to spend the night at the airport with a bunch of similarly stranded travelers (not kiwi customers) as it seems this is an issue at Stansted - or at least it was yesterday. So we will not be asking for reimbursement for a hotel stay after all.
