Waiting over 5 months for a refund for flights not taken in July due to COVID. Had no response from them said could take up to 3 months.

What a joke I paid 700 dollars for one way short trip 11 hours and my alternatives are 608 canadian dollars and 900 and all over the world stops I DID NOT GET ON MY PRIOR TRIP. Then they expect me to pay full price so actually I am paying double for a completely crappy trip stops in LISBON and CDG and then to ORY airport I transfer by taxi or bus. CDG is going on strike. They still have the same flights for sale and the second part of your trip is separate a far away country hhhh. That will not cancel or you can not till 48 hrs and you can not contact them by email phone anywhere. BAD BUSNESS PRACTICES. They ask for your booking number nd say we only take people 48 hours before flights call. Try managing your life around their protocol. Stop blaming your practices on the other Airlines your out for profit plain and simple. Then THEY TRY TO OFF YOU 154 DOLLARS AS TRIP MILES ONLY. If you accept it say goodbye to what you originally paid for the trip read the fine print people/if anyone is interested in working together to stop this crooked way of dealing with customers contact each other via this the more we get the better it is to stop this.

DO NOT BOOK YOU TRIPS WITH KIWI
As of May 2019 these are the factual customer service issues:
- KIWI ARE LIARS
- KIWI'S PROCESSES ARE UTTERLY DYSFUNCTIONAL
- KIWI'S STAFF IS POORLY TRAINED
Situation:
I booked tickets. One of the flights was rescheduled. Kiwi offered a alternative journey. The offers were off-topic and would lead to shorter holiday, so UNDER THEIR ADVISE I proposed them an alternative journey I found myself. THE SUPPORT TEAM REPLIED THAT THEIR GUARANTEE TEAM WILL CONFIRM THIS CHANGE IN 2-3 days.
AFTER 7 DAYS - NO CONFIRMATION. I reached out again and they told me to give them another 24 hours and that they are working very hard on my case.
AFTER 8 DAYS - NO CONFIRMATION. I reached out again and was told to give them 2-3 days. Yes, they already said that - but they don't read previous emails. By now my alternative tickets have doubled in price.
AFTER 10 DAYS - NO CONFIRMATION. I reached out again and NOW the support team member told me they are "busy" and will most likely review my case in "7 OR MORE DAYS". I still don't know what is going on but have opted in to terminate the contract
At this point, we come to a conclusion that
- Multiple support team members DIRECTLY LIE
- Multiple support team members NEVER READ YOUR PREVIOUS COMMUNICATION WITH THEM and reply off-topic
- After 12 back and forth email the support team offered no solution
DO NOT TRAVEL WITH KIWI. DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS TRAVEL WITH KIWI.

I bought three round trip tickets, Mumbai to Male, from KIWI.COM for US$1457. 92 on June 13,2021. On June 23,2021, KIWI emailed me that Indigo airline canceled Mumbai to Male flight and I checked in KIWI website for another option but there was none. Then, I called Indigo Airline and discovered that they did not have any record of our reservation and the PNR numbers could not be found in their system. I went to KIWI website and requested a refund and they acknowledged it. Then on July 16th I got four $10.95 refunds that was paid for seat reservation service.
In summary, they did not actually make the reservation with the Indigo airlines and created a fake itinerary and charged my credit card. Then came up with a bogus cancellation to force me to ask for a refund and then refunded $43.80 and kept $1414. 12. They simply scammed me.
KIWI.COM is registered in Czechoslovakia but the emails to me had two Indian names, Atul K., and Sourabh C., as travel consultants. It could be that the scammers are working from India and registered the company in Czechoslovakia with nonexistent fraud and criminal laws to evade prosecution of any kind! I am planning to write to JUDr. Pavel Zeman, Prosecutor general of Czechoslovakia: E-mail: *******@nsz.brn.justice.cz. You can search him in Google and could be easily found. Please write to him if you are also scammed.

Like so many others I had to cancel my flight reservations due to the Covid19 Pandemic. I was scheduled to fly with Air Europe on April 11,2020. So obviously I had to cancel. I spent a total of $793 in airfare and the only 2 options they gave was a refund of $10.75 or to buy the ticket again for the same amount only discounting $10.75 which it's pretty unfair that the options they gave me were the same change policy they always have. Regardless that's a very FRAUDULENT change policy
Of theirs. I even called them and all they said to me was that since they returned to me $10.75 they can't do any more changes they have to stick with the same policy rules... How on earth in this crisis this company it's staying with the same change policy? Not having a plan when a pandemic like this happening it's very unprofessional and it's a negligence playing with people money like this. It's the first time having a inconvenience with an flight booking site. I will make sure everyone knows that KIWI.COM ITS FRAUDULENT AND ITS A INCOMPREHENSIBLE BOOKING SITE. Calling them a booking site even sounds short for them and it's a shame fvor the others. NEVER AGAIN. If i ecould give them 0 I would. THEY'RE A SCAM.

This company is running a fraudulent business. Please stay away. Vacations are supposed to be fun, but this company creates unnecessary added stress that you don't need, especially in times like now with pandemic challenges. We booked a flight a few months back. The first leg of our departure flight was cancelled by the airline. We were notified by Kiwi via email a month prior to our flight, but we weren't able to identify what had changed until a week later by having to maneuver their terrible website with awful customer interface. I would say get a better CX/Product team, but I know you're doing this on purpose to scam people, so I won't say that. We reached out via email several times, and did not receive a response. They also don't allow you to speak with a human being unless you're less than 14 days from your departure day so we sat idle all this time. We were finally able to speak with a customer rep today who told us our only option was to rebook the entire flight on their website. The only options they have on their website is 3X of options available on google flights. They told us there was no option to only book the leg of the flight that was cancelled or to receive a refund for the return flight. (sorry, we don't do partial refunds). They then informed us that we could've gotten a refund if we purchased a Guarantee service that we had to pay extra for. Why would I do that? The only time I should need to purchase a guarantee service is if I, the customer, choose to cancel or change my flight. Why would I purchase a service for something I have no control over? These people are professional scammers. Absolutely disgraceful. I am part of an avid travel group, I'll make sure to let everyone know about these fraudsters, but wanted to post here as well for people who may be looking to book with them for the first time, like we were. Kiwi.com, I can't wait to see you file for bankruptcy soon. Unethical companies like you rarely survive in a customer driven market. Filthy, filthy behavior.

Used google flights to purchase round trip tickets and when chose flight kiwi.com popped up, so order my tickets and kiwi took my payment and then booking site said you receive flight info the day before the flight? What if booked a flight and sests should come up at the moment to print boarding passes etc. So imediately tried to cancel no phone numbers or live chat so as i tried to find a way to cancel i had my wife book again with google flights and she used frontier airlines since on a computer had more options on a mobile device only kiwi pops up. Anyways in less then 30 minutes booked the same flight and same seats as i did on kiwi and printed out my passes. Thus if payed kiwi for those same seats how could i buy them from frontier. No refund from kiwi yet so beware they are a third party scam in my opinion thus why you will see other reviews where the day before you fly or show up at airport they have no clue of your reservation or flights are all booked and no left stranded. So basically kiwi takes your money and tries to book a seat when it is convenient for them they actually never book the day you pay like most travel sites. So if want a actual flight and true booking do not and i mean do not use kiwi stay away unless you want to waste your money. Called my credit card company in 10 minutes and they said have to wait for charge to go thru since pending which was obvious since tried to cancel as soon as i hit pay and then kiwi posted you get your booking info the day before the flight so i knew i was scammed, still no refund but atleast i made my flight thru a different online site but out the money i paid thru kiwi.

We booked, got one email saying we were booked but never got ANY other info or boarding passes. Our international flight was 3 days away. We went to the website. "Call us." The phone voicemail told us to check the website, then disconnected. We called at least 30 times. We went to the airport and fortunately the airline had our reservation. Our return flight got screwed up and the airline wouldn't help because we'd booked through a 3rd party. We trekked Kiwi again with the same results. We had to purchase new return tickets and we're out $1500. I know enough to know that getting a refund through Kiwi is hopeless. AVOID THEM!

Booking reference *******.
Dear All,
Kiwi is an official scaming agent. I bought a flight through kiwi and I was sent an official ticket. 2 days later my flight was cancelled and i was given an option to pay additional 132 euros to rebook which I did. Again, 2 days later thesame flight was canceled and the alternatives were 1320 euros which I refused and requested a refund. I was told that the best use the kiwi credit as I will get my money back instantly and can rebook another flight which I did. Unknowingly, this option is 100 euros which is 10 percent of what I paid. I tried to rebook another flight for a similar amount (1030 euros) but kiwi was asking an additional 900 euros. Worst still, the agents where very rude (similar to showing me thier middle finger). I just lost my money, kiwi does not even consider how people feel, how can a service company be this inhuman?
PLEASE, SPREAD THE WORD, POST IT ON NEWS PAPERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA. KIWI IS A SCAM. I JUST LOST MY MONEY AND BE SURE IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU TOO.LETS GO VIRAL

Never ever but tickets from this scam company!
Here is my story.
I booked a flight from Gothenburg Sweden to Split Croatia. The first connection was from Gothenburg to Hamburg with Tzech Airlines. The next from Hamburg with Eurowings. I had a dog with me and it was booked at the same time. The payment for the first connection was supposed to be paid at the airport. When I arrived at the airport I was told that there was no booking made for the dog. I could not make a booking and payment at the airport since Czech Airlines had no office at the airport. I called Kiwi and was put on hold. They never came back to me... Meanwhile on an other phone I called Czech Airlines direct. I was told that the booking for a dog must be made 48 hours in advance. But since I was in that situation they helped me anyway. I made a booking and payment for the dog on the phone. Meanwhile the check in closed and it was to late for me to get on the plane. Therefore I missed both my connections. I had to buy a new ticket for the next day.
Kiwi told me to fill in an refund application and send it to them. They told me it would take about a month to get my refund.
I did so. Now one and a half months has passed and no answer from kiwi. I have sent emails to them and no answer from kiwi. So they simply stole my refund and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it except warm others. Maybe Kiwi is ok if everything goes well but if you have any problems your on your own. The waiting time on the phone is extremely long... And you won't get any help if it's urgent. Kiwi is a small company with it's seat in Brno Czech republic. So whatever you do don't buy tickets from this scam company.

What an awful company.
I booked Cambodia > London Heathrow.
A few days before I was told that my connecting flight (in Singapore) was modified 30 minutes earlier than planned. Due to the time for connection I knew that I had enough time to still make the flight even with the rearrangements. When I arrived in Singapore I was told my flight did not exist. I was then told that my flight had been cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later. When I spoke to Kiwi they informed me that they had made a mistake by only emailled the rescheduling and not the cancellation. They then said they would cover the difference for a new flight home and cover hotel for that night (it was midnight when I landed in Singapore with no more flights that night). Very stressed I waited in the hotel for 3 hours before they told me they couldn't book me another flight home for anytime in the next 2 days due to everywhere they could find requiring a visa to transit through. In the end they said there was nothing they could do other than refund my original ticket. They left me to sort accommodation and I had no choice but to book myself another flight home a day later (the same one but the Saturday). It was £300 more than the original flight which Kiwi had said they would cover. When I wrote to them asking for this they informed me I have had my refund and the only other thing they would do is a 100Euro voucher with them. Because of them, I was stuck alone in Singapore airport on my own, I am £300 plus the hotel out of pocket and they think that a 100 Euro voucher with them will satisfy? After responding to this 'offer' and consequently sending 4+ messages and even raising a new complaint, Kiwi have just completely ignored me and refuse to respond. Therefore I have had to take matters in my own hands and take my review everywhere. The way I was treated and have been disrespected by Kiwi is unbelievable and the least they could have done for their error and my inconvenience was to refund me the difference between the original flight and the new flight I had to book because of THEIR MISTAKE. I am so angry and let down and I will never book through them again nor allow any friends or family. Awful company, awful customer service.

I bought a ticket for my girlfriend to travel internationally. The airline apparently couldn't find her booking on a connecting flight half way through her trip. I tried to contact kiwi on there phone number but was greeted by a machine asking for booking number and her dob. I entered different combinations of her dob and my dob DDMMYY, MMDDYY etc., but the machine just says it doesn't match the booking and hangs up. There is no other way to contact them quickly other than this number. This is while my partner is at the airport and possibly about to miss her flight. It was the airlines fault and they finally rectified the issue, and let my partner board the plane luckily. I still haven't heard from kiwi, despite leaving a written message and calling that stupid number many times.
Update: turns out I needed to put in DDMMYYYY format, despite their instructions. All I have from Kiwi now is a bunch of support messages explaining why the problem is our fault, and that they can't issue a refund even though I never mentioned a refund and just wanted to get her on the plane they apparently booked for her... But it's ok we did there job for them and got the airline to let her board the plane after an hour of arguing with them, and them saying there was no checked baggage with this ticket etc.
Used them before with no issue, but if something goes wrong you're on your own. If you'd like someone to explain why something is your fault, if it's either your fault or not, instead of trying to help, this is the company for you! Thanks for nothing Kiwi.com
I'll try to add some pictures of the support messages a little later.

TERRIBLE Experience! In the full sense of that statement.
Here is a brief account: Booked through Kiwi.com (price was better'ish compared to expedia, etc).
Made a small mistake in the birth date (instead of 10/05 put down 10/10), double checked before confirming but missed it until I got the email.
Called them back, automated message said 20 min wait, but ultimately ended up being a 50 min wait.
In the mean time went to the website and placed the correction request (including the required ID photo attached)
Representative finally responded and informed me that all looks to be in order and a request will be made with response/confirmation in 48 HOURS, however this will cost me 10 EUROS in addition to whatever fee the airlines may charge for the change. After going back and forth about how ridiculous it would be to have to pay a 10 Euro fee to change 2 digits on the birthday, I requested to speak w/ a supervisor.
A supervisor called me from GREAT BRITAIN w/ a LOCAL BRITISH NUMBER but w/ a thick Filipino accent, and after patronizing me about business practices and arguing with me about the 10 Euros, hung up.
I called my cell phone company to see how much of the wasted 18 min I spent on the phone with him will cost me and was informed that it will be $1.99 per minute. So ended up adding an international plan for $5 to correct that.
Bottom Line: yes I could have been more careful with the info I put down, yes I could've just eaten the 10 Euro fees and spare myself the headache, however compared to pretty much all the other 3rd party companies (Expedia, HotWire, Travelocity, Kayak, etc.) that give you absolutely no hassle for small details like this or even if you need to change/cancel the flight within the first 24 hours, dealing with these guys, from their service, to their inflexibility and rudeness was beyond reasonable.
A friend of mine had a similar experience about a month ago, but didn't know that it was with Kiwi as well till today when I told her.
My advice, stay away from these guys. The slightly lower prices are not worth the hassle or the LACK of peace of mind.

I booked a flight to las Vegas for January of 2021 for myself and my wife. This was booked weeks in advance. I paid 189.00 for round trip tickets. I had to call KIWI several times to get any information on the reservation. I was told over and over day after day all the way up until the day of departure that we will have information or confirmation soon. Their customer service is horrible, they LIE over and over. 6 hours before my plane was to take off I still had no confirmation of the flight. I was on the phone LIVID and still I was told they would get back to me. 4 Hours prior i called KIWI back and was promptly told the flight was canceled! Are you kidding me? 4 hours prior, i had hotel rooms paid for events to get to. I politely asked them to get me another flight, they told me they couldn't but i could buy another ticket from another airline. I asked for a refund I was told THEY COULDNT give me one. So I did get a flight at an extraordinary expense you know same day notice. I paid almost a $1000 a ticket. After my trip i continue to try and get KIWI to refund me. They had blocked my number and then blocked the reservation number used to get to talk with a representative. I then asked my credit card company to help. They didnt,. I had to PAY THEM FOR NOTHING. KIWI>COM IS A FRAUD THEY WILL LIE< STEAL YOUR MONEY AND BLOCK YOU IF YOU HAVE A REFUND REQUEST! They are criminals! Period. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SCAM. They will STEAL YOUR MONEY AND OFFER ZERO HELP. This company is the worst travel company I have EVER dealt with, don't trust them. I initially had a very hard time getting them to confirm my actual flight with the airline after many attempts to get the correct airline booking # I finally was able to get it directly from the airline until then the airline could not confirm our flight. I had asked Kiwi.com if I could pay for checked bags, they said no their was no checked bags allowed on this flight so when I FINALLY got my confirmation with the airline I paid for checked bags directly with them, the airline charged me $100 for 2 checked bags and informed me that the receipt for this would be sent directly to the booking company I used and to ask them to forward it to me. I did so and their reply was " they would like to inform me that they will check the possibility with airline and charge me a 30 EUR ( I'm in Canada ffs) handling fee to do so" I said I already paid with airline I just need receipt, they then said "we respect your decision that you have contacted the airline to request baggage. In case your flight will be disrupted when you are at the airport, your coverage with us has been voided. Then wouldn't send me my baggage receipt. So of course upon check in at airport they said they didn't see I paid for bags and they needed a receipt which kiwi.com refused to send me so I had to pay a fee of $140 for 2 checked bags I'm now trying to get this refunded from the airline directly, the best part is they contacted me and wanted me to edit my review to a positive one lol, ya right nothing positive comes from booking with kiwi.com don't do it people + they have hidden fees
Tip for consumers:
They will charge you a service fee for everything including checking bags and check in and don’t allow you to do so directly with airline
