I bought flight tickets from Germany to Costa Rica on kiwi for a reasonable price. They sent me an email 2 hours later saying that the prices have changed, and i have to pay more now for my tickets! When i called they said that while i was booking "the prices changed", and this is why now i have to pay more. I told them are you trying to fool me?! I know for a fact that even when the prices change while I'm booking, the moment I select a ticket to buy, i reserve the tickets at the price that was mentioned!
Anyway, I cancelled that booking and thought I wanted to book again on Kiwi, just to see if that was just an exception, or if they always did that. When I tried to book again, the original price was written again! So I booked it again, and again a few hours later they sent an email saying that the prices have and i have to pay the difference! This is how they rip off people! What I hate is that according to the terms & conditions that we HAVE TO accept while booking, they "legally" cover up their asses! This is completely unethical and should be absolutely closed down!
Please do not support this "devil" company! Buy your tickets anywhere else but not here!

This travel agency is a complete scam! Do yourself a favor and do not book with this company. I had a round trip flight booked with them, and luckily I had a friend who was scheduled for the same flights. My friend had received notification via phone, and email that the airline has cancelled and moved the flight to a different time with a long layover instead of a direct flight. When booking with WWW.KIWI.COM, I was never notified of the flight cancellation and change of flight schedule. To make things worse they put you on hold for a min. Of 30 min to hours even though the queue will mention hold time is 10 min. Once getting through they find excuses to not refund you. They just want your money and do not provide any added value. Its a scam!
Its better to get your bank involved and dispute if youve made the mistake of booking with these people. They honestly do not care about there customers. Believe me, it has been a nightmare and please save yourself your own hard earned Money and Time dealing with WWW.KIWI.COM.

I booked two tickets for my mother and paid through the Kiwi website. At the time of booking, I paid an additional $30 to Kiwi for a 24 guarantee of cancellation with refund because I had never heard of the Kiwi site. But, I thought that if it was listed by Kayak, then it must be legitimate and reputable.
After I bought the tickets, Kiwi never sent me ANY booking information about the flights I purchased and I checked the airline website and there are no reservations for the flights I purchased, and I was told by Kiwi I would not be able to confirm the reservations with the airline at ANY TIME prior to arriving at the airport to take the flight. This is abnormal.
I called Kiwi twice and tried to invoke the 24 hour cancellation guarantee (that I PAID for), which they then told me that they would not refund my full payment and that any such refund would take 30 days after their "assessment" of the possibility of refund and that in any case, they would only give me an unspecified portion of my payment back.
My mother called again today and was told by Kiwi that the refund would be $31 dollars (out of $807.00!). This is fraud. They never even booked the tickets, they kept the money, and they didn't honor the 24 refund policy (which ALL legacy airlines do!). STAY AWAY!

My travel was carrier cancelled due to COVID. I requested a full refund in April 2020. They asked for 3 months to process refund. After 3 months I filed a chargeback request with my financial. They determined that since I signed their terms and conditions, I will need to work with Kiwi.com for my refund, which they claimed to still be waiting on the airlines for a refund. I called Norwegian who verified they provided a full refund in June 2020. Aegean Air claimed to have sent vouchers in June 2020 as well. IT IS NOW 9 MONTHS LATER and I have not received a dime from them. This was over $4,500. I have proof that they have my refunds from the carrier and I still cannot get them to process my refund! THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Tip for consumers:
This business is not trustworthy. Their customer service is contracted out and they only continually ask for more time and our patience. You cannot speak with anyone direct. All dealings are done online via chat. Do your research. Kiwi.com has numerous complaints on various sites and their own social media accounts are flooded with people like myself who are upset and still waiting for a refund.

They are a third party travel service who booked our family vacation. They took our money and bought the tickets with their credit card and the airline refunded had to refund them and we have been waiting 9 months from our refund request and received nothing to date.

Ok wow. I bought a cheap Frontier ticket from Kiwi and on my layover from SF to Tampa I was in Dallas from 2:30 until 11pm. The airline bumped me continually all night long until I was left in a shut down for the night airport. I paid for a hotel (my own $) and they left me with a boarding pass for the next evening. I went back to the airport and they repeated the bumping all the way up until the last flight of the night. I finally got on this plane and then someone else showed up with a ticket for the same seat! They actually wanted me to get off the plane for this person and I stood my ground. Fortunately I won this stand off but this was literally the worst flight of my entire life. Lesson learned: DO NOT BUY AN AIRPLANE TICKET FROM A THIRD PARTY SELLER LIKE KIWI. EVER!

Kiwi.com is the worst travel booking agent I have ever experienced. I have been regularly traveling internationally for 15 years. I recently moved to Japan and set up a flight to return to the United States. The itinerary kiwi.com generated had me leaving Japan on 29December at 7:05 pm arriving in Honolulu at 6:45 am. My follow on flight was at 12:45 pm landing in San Diego at 8:10 pm. The issue is that the flight itinerary incorrectly labeled my arrival as 30Dec. Honolulu is 19 hours prior to Japan so I really was landing at 6:45 am on 29Dec (traveling back in time based on time zones). They incorrectly advertised on my itinerary a 6 hour layover…but actually it was 30 hours. I called three times to resolve the issue. The first two "customer service" agents put me on hold and then hung up on me after 5 min. After an hour on the phone with the third agent, she acknowledged the system error with the dates but could do nothing to resolve the issue. I had also asked to change my birthday on the itinerary a week prior…they charged 30 euros to change August 08 to August 22. I will never use kiwi.com again and neither should you

They booked a round trip between Istanbul and Frankfurt without letting me know, although I bought for a single strip from Istanbul to Frankfurt! Two days after I came back in Germany, I received an email from Lufthansa that I need to check-in for the flight back to Istanbul. I was surprised, because I didn't book this connection. Also in the booking confirmation from kiwi.com, it was written that I booked a singel trip from Istanbul to Frankfurt.
I called Lufthansa, and they said someone booked it for me. I called Kiwi.com, and they said "well, we book sometimes a round-trip instead of a single trip, because it is cheaper. You can ignore this booking."
First, Kiwi should communciate transparently with their customers that they book a round-trip. I was shocked when I received the email for online check-in from Lufthansa for the booking I had never seen before!
Second, some airlines put passagengers in black-list, when they frequently don't show up at the airport and ignore their booking. There are reasons why round-trip tickets usually cheaper than single-tickets! Without explaining this risk to customers, Kiwi should not do such things!
The operator kept saying "I don't think there is a problem". But it is her personal opinion and the problem is the fact that their communication was not transparent and what is written in the booking confirmation is different from real booking registered in the airline's platform. I will never ever use this agent.

Don't book with Kiwi! We booked a bunch a little flight in between the Greece Islands for January. 10 days before we left we got a email saying one of the flights was not operational. Which was finr so we had to find a different way to get there. So being in Santorini, the day we where suppose to head to the airport we got a email from the airlines saying we half to check in. So we went to try and there site wouldn't let us. As we got to the airport we had to pay a extra Euro 100.00 to get on the flight. To find out from that airline that Kiwi was suppose to check us in, it was there responsibly. Now the day we where leaving Mykonos I got no email from Kiwi checking us in to see flight so we decided to head to the airport earlier the usual. As we arrived to find out the airline that we booked through Kiwi doesn't even run in January! So we there was one other airline flying and they had room for us. Which was awesome because that was the only flight out that day and we had international flights to catch. Which we would have missed due to Kiwi. Trying to get are money back for that extra flight cause I feel there responsible for letting us book a flight that doesn't even run in the winter! They say there not accountable for it! With all the hick ups we had with Kiwi in Greece, I hope ppl consider booking through other sites KIWI not being one!

Not sure how do you feel about last year, but I am one of the millions of disappointed customers, who will NEVER book with your company again. About what kind of customer support are you talking about on your main page?
I booked a flight from Istanbul to Dubai for October 11 using Kiwi.com, when it happened that even the GOVERNMENT didn't confirm yet this flight connection. I filed my refund case #124 190 814 on Oct 11 2020, spoke to Turkish Airlines support, got to know it takes literally LESS than 10 days for them to process a refund. So yes Oliver, you can't blame anyone besides yourself and show some respect to people who wasted money on KIWI.
Your CS team is unresponsive, plus I can't reach anyone by phone call UNLESS I have a booked flight existing. Like... really?
I sent the last message to the support team on Dec 22 and since then ZERO replies.
It will be 3 months on Jan 11 since I filed my refund. I am suggesting you contact me via my KIWI PROFILE to avoid any further development of this issue on the administrative level.

Absolutely DO NOT book with this scam of a website! My flight departure time changed by 10mins and they "cancelled" my flight and I was forced to pay an additional $1000AUD for the alternative option. If you choose the alternative option then you forfeit your right to a refund from the cancelled flight. BOOK DIRECT WITH THE AIRLINE

Last year I struggled with my mental health so badly I needed to go to hospital. During this year I've been working to get better and save every penny I could to book a flight to New Zealand. A place I've always wanted to go. The Kiwi app didn't make it clear that I would need a transition visa to go through America (As that was where I was suppose to change flights) When I got to the London airport to board my flight I was asked for this visa. I didn't have one but they said no matter, just apply for it now it'll only take ten minuets. However, because of my history of mental health they denied my access so I missed my flight. I said to Kiwi that they didn't make it clear I needed this but they couldn't have cared less. I'm heartbroken. I'm fighting for a refund but they've made it very clear that I wouldn't get anything back. They just want your money. They don't care whether or not you actually make it to your flight. I also asked if I could send them some legal documents to help clear this all up but they said that because I hadn't paid for the privilege of an email account they can't allow this. I've been desperately trying to send crummy screen shots on a chatbot page but I don't know why I'm trying. They took everything from me.

DONT BOOK KIWI.COM! I have never used Kiwi.com before and NEVER will again. I booked my air ticket through them. I down loaded the ticket on my phone but was unaware that i needed a paper copy, my fault. Got to the airport to catch my flight and they wouldnt accept the booking without a printed boarding pass, long story short i missed my flight. I tried to get another flight flying nothing even via any where to try and salvage this bugger up.The first i could was Thursday. By this stage it was 10.45.My flight was supposed to have landed at 10am. I tracked down a local number for Kiwi.com to change my car hire from Tuesday 10am to Thursday 10am. I was told that because it was passed 10am, i would not be refunded and i would have to do a new booking! WOW, I will never book an airline ticket or car hire through this company ever again. I was not cancelling i was just asking to please move the booking out by 2 days, exact same booking! DONT USE THIS COMPANY, you are not seen as a customer just as a number.

I wish I could give it a 0 star! Worse experience with kiwi. They tried giving me $10 credit to change my flight. I shared with them I got sick and am hospitalized. I called within the correct time frame. I asked to speak with a manager and they said they would reach out via email. I waiting for them and did not hear back so I decided to call back. They told me unfortunately, the $10 offer or even the change to change the date is not longer available bc I waited too long. I said I was waiting for them to contact me back to speak with a supervisor and all they kept saying was "sorry ma'am there is nothing we can do now. You should have changed the date when my colleague advised you to change it. We can't even return the $10!"
I didn't care about the $10! I cared about my
Flight! So I hung up and called United (the airline I was flying in) and they were SOOOO helpful.
Not only did they change my flight (without a fee) I also got an upgrade. I will NEVERRRRRRR use kiwi. EVER! Please trust me. You aren't saying yourself a penny with them. I found cheaper prices on United airlines than on kiwi.
I would also like to state that I spoke with three different employees and a supervisor. Two of which were rude. The supervisors name was Javed. If you are reading this,

Worst customer service experience so far! I used Kiwi to book 3 domestic flights in India. They have a 48hr cancellation policy and although all my flights were different (there was no connection between each), they applied the 48hr rule to all my flights and scammed me of all the money I was eligible to get. They told me that I am not eligible to get any refund but when I called up the individual airlines, they told me that I should receive a refund according to their policy. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Never using it in the future.

Dishonest business practices! I wish I could give them 0 stars for the shameful misinformation (regarding cancellation and rebooking), complete incompetence (making requested changes in a timely manner), and absolute unresponsiveness (I've called back three times, each time, no action). Now I have lost my $700 although I booked a standard fare ticket, with the opportunity to change it. When I tried to change the ticket, the website wouldn't accept it, so I called, and they said they would handle it manually. I would get a notice of the change on their website and I could approve it, within a four hour window. I never received this notice, so I called back again. They said they were working on it and I would see it when it came through. I never saw it. If they sent it, which they swear they did, then they sent it the middle of night. Do they really expect their clients to stay up all night waiting for a message from their system? In the morning, there was no message about my change request, rather a new message that the airline had canceled one of the legs for some other reason. Now the 48-hour advance notice window is over and there is no opportunity to change the ticket. This appears to be a deliberate action on their part to deceive and confuse their clients from which they shamefully profit. Stay away forever!

I'm very disappointed to Kiwi.com.
I bought ticket Seoul->BK / BK->Seoul
A round trip ticket from Kiwi.con.
I could get extra vacation, so I would like to change the journey of my ticket.
I sent a query to the customer service department on the online and phone call before I changed the ticket.
Because I worried about the commission.
I got answered from Kiwi.com,
1. You had to cancel the ticket because the ticket you bought was not flexible.
Existing tickets will be refunded as a supplementary refund.
2. The supplementary refund amount is in accordance with the airline's policy.
3. Kiwi.com returns the entire amount refunded by the airline to the customer without a fee.
Eventually, I canceled my ticket with trust to Kiwi.com but after when I check my refund amount I can see that too different refund amount that Kiwi.com's word.
4. Kiwi.com said "a part of deduct amount is GDS, which you were agreed when you bought ticket at consent form.
(seriously Kiwi.com should explained properly about GDS at the begining when I asked about changed my journey. But they didn't)
Even I did not get my Seoul->BK ticket's refund yet. Which is understandable.
I aware of that Kiwi.com waiting refund from Airline as well.
Kiwi.com charged me a price that was contrary to what I had informed me beforehand, and the reason was that it was not delivered properly.
I have been struggled numerous contacts and emails with Kiwi.com in order to get a full refund from the airline that Kiwi.com promised me.

The worst experience ever! We purchased tickets in June for flights in November (Belgrade-Tenerife-Belgrade), then we had to choose paid alternatives due to airline changes (disputed was return flight). It would be ok, if it was the only change. A month before our flight, we had to choose another unacceptable paid alternative with over 25hours for the flight from Tenerife to Belgrade. At the same time, they had a better offer for new passengers than for us (flights which last about 8hours). Directly, I asked for that different offer and they were professionally avoiding the answer. Somehow, they accepted to allow me to REQUEST other alternative and refused my request, of course. We decided to find solution on our own and I requested a refund from the disputed airline directly. As Kiwi purchased tickets on behalf of us, they received a refund of $140.40 (I have proof of it - airline sent me). When I told them about it, they refused to get my funds back, so the conclusion is that they stole my funds!
I have to mention, they were trying to offer me their assisted refund and they didn't offer me a refund with Kiwi credit (I'm whondering, why?!)
There are a lot of details that happened during our "communication", but I don't want to go on too long. AVOID THIS SCAMMER PROVIDER!
P.s. Take a look on a proof of refund by KLM directly. Even Kiwi knows that, they declined to get my funds back.

Just avoid them at all.

I picked kiwi.com from the list of options when I found my flight through Google Flights. They changed my flight from a direct 3 hour flight to a 27 hour flight. They said the airline rescheduled it and that it was a "minor change" and that there was nothing they could do. In what world is a 3 to 27 hour flight change a "minor change"?
In addition, they claimed that I clicked that I had accepted the flight change. I very specifically did NOT - when I checked the flight change I saw that there was a button for me to accept it and was very careful not to click it. When I messaged them, the first message I got back from them they said "We see you haven't accepted the change yet, here are your options blah blah blah", when I accused them of fraud their next response said "We see you have accepted the change", I hadn't even been back on the website, so someone on their end accepted it on me, this company is completely fraudulent.
There's a lot of shady companies out there but the issue here is GOOGLE - get this ***** company off your listings, what are you doing suggesting them through Google Flights! This company is completely fraudulent! I am still working with CC company to fight these charges.

Absolutely the WORST third party air travel agency ever. Wasted a lot of money on a ticket to get home however when it came to my ticket being CHANGED AND CANCELED (Due to covid-19) and it was out of my power to do ANYTHING i didnt get any of my money back. I was stuck in Stockholm, Sweden and STRANDED BECAUSE OF THEM! Especially customer service prioritizing the important customers than the regulars who didnt buy the "upgraded" package.

I am wodering how can we take any legal action against this company. They go above and beyond to steel money from their costumers. See my recommendations.
Tip for consumers:
After doing search for flights you may get what it looks a cheaper flight on their website but the truth is if you look directly from the air company the same flight will be even cheaper and you will have all protection you need for the purchase. Many air travel companies are providing 24 h changes for free becuase they know mistakes can happen. This company not only odes not do that but it actually makes mistakes very likely so you lose your money.

SCAM BEWARE
This is the worst experience I have ever had booking a flight and I have traveled a lot. Booked with one CC and had to go thru a verification process scan passports, take pictures to identify for security purposes... fine. Then I had to wait for 15 hours to get a response and they declined my booking when I asked why they just said that they use a 3rd party service based out of Israel and they have no idea why it was declined, just kept saying the 3rd party service out of Israel declined it ON REPEAT. I then tried booking again as Kiwi was the only option and I had to book my flight. I used another card (bank card), they took the funds from my account both times and now I am waiting again for them to verify through their 3rd party in Israel. It's been nearly 2 days I've been dealing with this in the meantime the flight fares keep going up. Currently, they have nearly $2500 of my funds and I need to wait to see if my next flight has been approved if not they will refund my money within 10 days. That is a lot of money. Something is very fishy with this company. If I wasn't at their mercy given they already have my funds and they appear to be the only option (at least for this fight) which again I find very strange, I would without a doubt cancel but then I would have $4000 tied up in flights. I will never book with them again!
