Id avoid at all costs. They stole all our fares during the pandemic last year for flights that never went ahead. Serious ethical issues.

BOOKED A FLIGHT TO EUROPE FROM US. AFTER PAYING, WEBSITE SAID NO BAGGAGE ALLOWED SO I IMMEDIATELY CANCELED TICKET. CALLED KIWI FOR MY REFUND AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR ALMOST AN HOUR. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CHECK INTO MY REFUND BUT THERE WOULD BE PROCESSING CHARGES. THEY ALSO SAID THEY WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH ME THE NEXT DAY. NO CALL OR REFUND AND ITS BEEN A MONTH AND THREE DAYS. TODAY I RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM KIWI. COM. THEY ARE CHARGING ME $371 FOR CANCELING A TICKET THAT WAS BOOKED AND CANCELED WITHIN 3 MINUTES. I CALLED KIWI AND WAS PUT ON HOLD ANOTHER 45-60 MINUTES AND WAS TOLD THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO. TOTAL FRAUD. THEY DON'T MENTION NO BAGGAGE UNTIL YOU PAY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE AND THEY SIMPLY COULDN'T CARE LESS. PLEASE, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, SPREAD THE WORD NOT TO USE THIS WEBSITE. THANKS

Worst compagnie no assistance no feed back never book with them! Firstly their webpage is terriblterrible to use. It incorrectly filled in my card numbers, rearranging the sequence of numbers rather than numerically as I imput them. After carefully checking my details and proceeding I get a confirmation email with my first name entirely wrong. I immediately tried to change this by the manage my booking section and messaged them as well. From there the lies started. They would need 48 hours to do this this said. 4 days later I messaged them again. For over 5 weeks they promised they would do something but didn't until finally, with my flight date drawing near, I purchased new tickets rather than risk being unable to board the flight as my visa for the country was expiring and I didn't want to be stuck in Myanmar. 2 days before my flight and almost 6 weeks since my initial request they supplied a link which they'd said would only take 48 hours. I had booked with them so I could transit and avoid having to clear immigration, collect luggage and recheck in. However they don'ttell you that you will have to do anyway.

Dear reader! If you want to travel for sure, please take into consideration of my personal experience and afterwards think about booking a ticket from Kiwi.Of course, I underline that is my personal opinion. What I mean is, even if the payment was done(booking reference and receipt via e-mail), there was no official ticket for me to fly. I bought my ticket (appr. 270$) and I went to the airport to Check in.At first I tried to scan my passport at the self-service check in machine. For some reason I could not be identified as a passenger. I asked the personel and they could not find my name in the list as well. Oh my God! Heart attack is on the way...! So I called them. They had at first an automatic talker. After a decade (I lost a lot of money on that call as well)a woman whose pronunciation was not very good (my English are not perfect either, but it would definatelly be preferable to communicate with someone capable to speak a little bit better) told me officially that although my money had been taken, they needed more hours to decide if they were going to send me a normal ticket or not! In other words my payment was possible to be declined regardless the bad timing. Lovely... my gate had already been announced. Finally they thankfully told me about a refund, which I am still waiting for.At the end, I bought a last minute ticket for appr. 357$ at the airport. Definatelly as it comes to me personally, I am not gonna make a purchase from Kiwi in the future. Good luck my friends and have a safe flight with safelly booked tickets!

Booked one of our honeymoon flights through Kiwi.com. After neglecting to get any check-in updates 24hours before our flight was set to depart, I called Kiwi.com contact number and after a 2hr call it became clear that our airline carrier had changed departure times (+7hrs) over 3 WEEKS ago and while Kiwi had the change on their end, they had failed to let us know. Logging onto our Kiwi.com account our flight still posted the incorrect flight departure time. Due to this we were going to miss our connecting flight, and inevitably arrive 1 day later than expected (eating hotel and event costs as well)
Their only offer included 24+hours of travel, and multiple connections and still only got us to our connecting airport, not the final destination.
Even though they recognized the fact that they did not update, us, the costumer of the significant departure time change, they only offered for us to file for a refund.
We purposely bought our flight nearly 7 months in advance due to price.
Instead we ended up buying 2 x international tickets the day of.

They also failed to return our calls, and we are still waiting on the refund we filed for.

DO NOT USE!

Excuse me? They won't refund it?
My flight to Florida was canceled due to snow. I couldn't get to Florida due to the flight from Saint Louis was canceled. AND! The flight from Florida was delayed by days. I have work. If I don't receive my refund, I will contacts the better business bureau and I will post this on every place I can put a review. That flight was on Christmas Eve to see my 8 year old child. You guys NEVER even gave me another option to fly. YOU DIDNT EVEN TELL ME MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED! It was cancelled 4 hours before the scheduled time and YOU NEVER SENT ME A NOTICE SAYING IT WAS CANCELLED! I spent $95 on a Uber each way to the airport and back home. Just to find out my flight was cancelled. I should have never used your company. I have never even heard of it but I took a chance. You owe this to me to make this right. I would like my money back! If I could do negative stars I would!

During the Covid19 pandemic, Kiwi.com found a way to steal the money of their customers. They developed a tricky way for its customers to claim a refund. In the end, Kiwi.com only grants parts of the total money spent as Kiwi credit. I can't believe that in such time of need, this company is taking advantage of the people. I booked two flights with Kiwi.com. I wanted a refund to my credit card. They claimed that I opted for an "instant refund" which not only denied me a refund to my credit card but it also cut down my refund amount to half. I am absolutely disgusted with the way this company has handled themselves during a worldwide emergency. I'm in NYC dealing with loved ones ill, at the epicenter of the pandemic but this company would not help me out. I even pleaded for them to grant me full refund in Kiwi credit rather than taking half of my money but they refused to. Their customer service is rude, ruthless and unhelpful. I would never book again another flight with Kiwi.com and you shouldn't either. Lastly, I asked the customer representative to speak to someone else and get back to me but he told me that I would be wasting my time because there is nothing they can do to help me.

No clarity, nothing. Avoid this company

1. Will lose money for changing the flights
2. Will lose the flight
3. Will lose time for writing them over and over again
4. Just buy directly from the flight vendors

Last March I bought flight ticket for my family to go Mongolia from UK and after a month they emailed our flight has been canceled. Just that. No more way.

We tried to call them but no answer, email them four times then got replied should find alternated flight instead.

Their alternate flight mean,, so funny.
Have to buy another flight ticket with Kiwi with full amount again and old ticket will refund in 90days.

I already paid for flight around 3000 pounds but they asked me another 3000pound for new ticket.
Can anyone understand?

Kiwi flight cost is bit cheaper than others in sky scanner but I guess they do their business like this.

If customer buy ticket they email to customer to cancel just oneway and asked another ticket with full price. It means they can take their commission twice,,,

I was not trust them so asked full refund but they emailed will takes 90days and will be very small amount.

I do not canceled myself they canceled my flight one way first. Why refund process is so long and just small amount i can get.

I emailed them two weeks ago twice for how is processing but kiwi did not reply me and delete my review now.

They are like scam.
Terrible customer service.
Avoid kiwi if you don't want to ruin your trip.

I booked Sri Lankan airlines on 19th September via using the Kiwi.com online platform. It was very clear that the direct flight from Dubai to Colombo, the flight is on 20th September with flying duration 4hrs and 25minutes.
I went to the check in counter at the airport and the booking was not found in their system. Thereafter, they found that the Kiwi.com has scheduled a round trip ticket which was not disclose at the time of online booking. The Sri Lankan airlines Manager told not to trust Kiwi.com and my booking was the 5th complain in the month of September. He told that the ticket is a fake booking and they cannot take responsibility at all. I tried to contact using the Kiwi contract number in Dubai but not responded and using the online support but Kiwi.com network was not connected.
Thereafter, I reserved a fly Dubai flight without any problem.

I contacted Kiwi.com support team asking refund but did not agree at all and my money steal by Kiwi.com without looking at my trouble and their incorrect ticket.

The refund is not received until today and the company like smuggling from the people. DO NOT TRUST Kiwi.com and don't book using the third party sites like this.Kiwi.com is completely cheating the people showing fake offers on the website. They don't care about the people after paid and no help at all.

Book ticket from frankfurt to kabul after a day it shows your ticket had cancelled refund 10euro but while I payed 1102 euro I have not even cancel it then I asked them send me proves says it is been cancelled and they said it us volontaires refund cancelled we can not provide any proof and I want my refund or rebook tickets please they scaming people we you asked something on the support they keep saying the same thing again and again told refund my money and they we have refund you 10euro ahah really how it works

Your travel provider shouldn't have issued me a ticket with connection to Christchurch, NZ. When my return from Vienna to Australia, instead you should have directly flown to Australia from Singapore. (one of my connection) why because European travellers are not allowed to transit in New Zealand through to Australia, my husband wasn't allow to board the plane. Putting him in a position to buy a very expensive new fly to Australia.
KIWI are selling trips that consumer never will uses, KIWI total lack of transparency, or customer services accountability makes you guys the worst travel experience ever. No refund, NO support, leaving my husband in a estrange country with not option at all. When I call kiwi customer services explaining the issue, they simply don't care, and didn't give any support, also they reject to give us a partial refund. Well, I can tell you from now on, I will be the worst advocator of kiwi company, meeting with more than 4.675 furious kiwi travel consumer, letting people know around the world your lack of transparency and customer services accountability. Using all social media platform ever exist.
How illegal can be offering these flights when right now you are not flying at all, or when there are no transits allowed. Offering seemingly phantom tickets on phantom flights despite Government restrictions on travel.
KIWI practices are to keep taking money from consumers by selling ticket that will never fly, or are no transits allowed. Ticket on flight that people will never have a chance to board.

BE AWARE government consumer protection report apparently agencies provider and airlines “are guilty” of the practice “Dizzying prodigious frauds-travel provider and airlines outdoing themselves”: like KIWI.COM, travel provider that is taking money from consumers by selling a ticket that will never fly, or are no transits allowed. ticket on flights that people will never have a chance to board.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID KIWI.COM! An absolute SCAM!
Stay away from KIWI.com, they are helpless and useless. Everything is possibly fine if flights do not get cancelled. Too bad for us, that ours got cancelled and KIWI were simply useless and left us nowhere. 1) They didn't inform us on flight cancellation short term - we were contacted directly by the airline. 2) KIWI offered us absolutely ridiculous alternative flight with Ryanair (that were more expensive that our booking, without covering the difference! Plus the so called alternatives, totally didn't suit our needs and request for time restriction at destination. 3) Due to their inadequacy, we had to cancel the other leg from our journey which resulted even in further costs. 4) We filed a refund request immediately after realizing that they left us in the middle of nowhere and guess what 100 days after filing the refund request and numerous long conversations with them on the phone and emails every week we were again NOWHERE! 5) I had to reclaim the amount via my credit card company, in order to get them moving! I got the full amount back, and then they KIWI.com! Imposed a claim on the flight we had to cancel due to their inadequacy! Ridiculous circus that used our money over 3 months and returned only 60% back thankfully via a third party claim!
AVOID UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES THESE CLOWNS!

I had a flight from Cairo to London with a layover in Marseille. I had the Kiwi layover Gaurantee, the departure flight got delayed 1.5 hours and when I called a few days later to get my money back, the call centre employee was very rude and barely knew anything about the flight claiming the delay was less than 55 minutes even though I recorded down the initial departure (5.35) and the delayed departure (7). Because of this everyone missed their connecting flight. When I called, I was faced with many excuses from "I should've called when I was at the airport in Egypt" even though I had not way to contact as I didn't have a British number. To "the policy has changed". I recommend this company to no one as they are scammers and they are money cows. The call support assistance "ASHISH" seemed like he didn't know a single thing about the company and was just wasting time. He said that at first I was already late then he said the guarantee doesn't cover it then said the manager said there is no possibility as air Arabia is the airline. This company is the worst and this is the second time I go with this booking website and faced issues. No one should book with them as they won't give your money back over the slightest chance

I had the worst experience with this absolute pathetic company. Beware of the them as I would like to share my experience, we booked a flight as I was surprising my fiance for a short trip over the weekend I booked, paid for the complete connecting flight to Thailand and back, they charged me full amount n (ASSURED) confirmation of the tickets.
Furthermore as soon as we reached the airport Emirates staff informed us our names are not in flights, tried calling these kiwis with no response whatsoever, to our horror I had to buy completely new airline tickets oresle I would lose the hotel resort which I also paid in advance for then weekend.
In conclusion I would like to inform all the world these people cannot be trusted at all and never ever would I recommend this company or even think of using their services whatsoever.
Now all I'm trying to retrieve is my refunds which they informed require atleast 3 month process again absolutely pathetic.
They have broken my trust n sentiments over flight bookings through these 3rd party company.

I booked a flight through the AirAsia website to travel to Malaysia. My booking was confirmed and I received the details of my flight. I subsequently received a couple of slight reschedules which I had to review and accept. A few days later, AirAsia canceled my flight and gave me 2 options: choose a different flight or request a refund. AirAsia wanted to charge an additional $400 for a different flight, which is almost double the cost of my original flight. I therefore chose a refund. Following this I was advised that a refund needed to be sought from the airline and this could take up to six months. I was very confused by this as I was under the impression that I had booked directly with the airline, having used their website to make my booking. It turns out that AirAsia use a third party booking system known as Kiwi.com as their booking engine. I am now being told by AirAsia that I need to seek a refund through Kiwi.com, and Kiwi.com are advising that they have to engage the airline for the refund.

My assessment of this situation is that AirAsia use this third party system so that they can avoid responsibility for customer care, and this, in turn, enables Kiwi.com to use the excuse of having to engage the airline to retain our money. I believe this is seriously bad practice and the kind of thing I really wanted to avoid, by booking directly with the Airline.

Please exercise extreme caution when booking with either AirAsia or Kiwi.com.
