I absolutely love SHEIN! It is one of my favorite places to shop on a budget and find really cute pieces for every season. However, due to their low prices, sometimes the quality of the items aren't the best and the sizing can be off at times so it's super important to check your measurements before placing an order. I've found that at times the clothes fit awkwardly due to their cheap material. Another issue, is that some pieces are see- through and you have to be extremely cautious of what you wear underneath. Most of the time, I am in love with my purchases and they exceed my expectations, especially for their great prices! I did a youtube video on some clothes that I purchased for the summer season and I was super happy with my purchase.

Lack of Flexibility for Loyal Customers
I've been a loyal Shein customer for a long time. Recently, due to a health issue, I couldn't return an item on time (exceptional circumstances). Despite explaining my situation (and requesting a chance to exchange the items size at least.) my request was denied, and the escalation was never raised. My ticket was closed and marked 'COMPLETED'. I feel ignored and will never use this shop again.

I understand return policies, but exceptional cases should be handled with empathy. Disappointed with the lack of flexibility.

Shein is not reliable, do not order stuff from them. I have ordered 20 items, all needlework related. Have only received 8 items. Some of very poor quality. I've been robbed. And my original order just disappeared from the Shein app, is no where to be found so I can have proof of my order. Total rip off.

Perfume bottles of low quality and 1 machine foot, poor quality. I have ordered 5, but only received one.

The pricing is fair, and they offer a good range of products, but their customer service is severely lacking. My order placed during Eid arrived with an open package and several items missing. Despite my repeated attempts to contact customer service, I received no satisfactory response until they finally agreed to issue a refund for the missing items and suggested I reorder the items.

This experience has left me questioning how reliable your service is.

I run an embroidery business and one of my customers sent me a box of denim shorts from this company. The stinch of formaldehyde almost knocked me out trying to finish her jobf. I refuse to take in any garments from this store ever again!

I love SHEIN, but recently I've an experience where a package I ordered was not delivered. I contacted customer service and really and truly it was sort of difficult to communicate with them. However, after getting past the communication issues, they informed me that they would give me a full refund on what I ordered. I was very happy about this because I thought that I had just lost my money and my items. They informed me that I would have to wait a certain time for the refund to show up on my card. To my pleasant surprise, the 'refund' showed up on my card by the very next day, but, did you know that they refund you for each individual item as opposed to the total amount you spent? Regardless, the 'refunds' were coming in, so I was happy. The problem is that I didn't receive all the refunds on my credit card, however, SHEIN's website was showing that the refunds were processed on their end. I contacted SHEIN who informed me to contact my bank and I did but the bank said that I must contact SHEIN because they (the bank) have nothing to do with the refunds. I contacted SHEIN again and they're just telling me the same thing - "According to the refund department, the refunds in question have been processed, different banks have different processing times, blah blah blah." And here I am, almost a month later, no package, a partial refund and the customer service reps seem to be ignoring me now.

When I tried to reach SHEIN on their website, I received a ticket number. I had to wait 24 hours for a response. I was looking for a response that said my order went through. But that didn't happen. Instead, I received an email that stated I needed to give them the order number. I don't have an order number because I wasn't giving an email acknowledgment or confirmation that showed an order number. I am in a loop with them. So today I am going to call my credit card company and cancel the order since they did not give me a proper response within the 24 hours and the order did not go through. I don't have any further information from them. This raises my suspicion that this company doesn't know what it's doing. I just started using them and I find their follow up and communications are extremely poor.

This is the second time that I am ordering from Shein because they have very beautiful pictures and modern design of clothes in their website which are very deceptive, but when I received the clothes they are totally different very bad quality and bad cut. Some of them fall apart even while I'm ironing them, so imagine what happens when I try to wash them!
BTW, they have wrong measurement and bad customer service.

I had fraudulent charges on my account that I used to purchase items from SHEIN. I was charged $436 on items I never purchased from SHEIN and I never received. My bank said they contacted SHEIN and was told the charges were me and the items were shipped to me. I looked at my SHEIN app and the items were shipped somewhere in Florida (I live in Tulsa, OK). I tried to contact SHEIN and I can't contact them. I have heard of so many other people being frauded by SHEIN also. Now I am so afraid to use them and order stuff, I will not use them ever again for fear of fraudulent charges and they do nothing to help their client.

Be aware!!!! There have been A LOT of scams with this company!!!

I order some stuff in March 2024 And I kept getting an email saying your package is on the way. So last week I get an email saying my package is delivered but I never received it. I tried so hard contacting shein but no reply. I even saw the delivery guy in front of my home,didn't even get out of his truck and he took off without delivering my package. That same time I got an email saying it's delivered. I'm very disappointed in their service. Took my money and I never got my stuff. I won't ever order anything from them again nor recommend to anyone. 🙁

I have worked for 400 hours this week just sewing little patterns onto T-shirts. My fingers are bleeding and I keep getting blood on the T-shirts. My boss, Patricia doesn't let me use the bathroom so I keep sharting my pants and sometimes its so aggressive it gets on the T-shirts and I have to just call it Tie-Dye. I will probably get fired and thrown in the basement for this but whatever. At least I won't have to pay to work anymore...

SheIn made me sit on my but in a factory filled with rats that I think carried malaria and the warehouse gave me skin cancer but I did'nt have enough money to get chemotherapy and so I had to cut my own arm off with sewing machine. Im so tired of this job I get 3,000 orders a day and I have to sew the words "I'm so sigma rizz" on thirty sweatshirts everyday. I had to sit on my butt so long it made my butt bleed and I'm currently dying.

Bought a large dog harness which arrived yesterday, harness fits great but the clips are of such poor quality they don't clip properly and if I had to have my dog lunge they would just pull apart. They refuse to let me return it. 1st time buying from them and certainly the last.

First time ordering. Everything was too big. Returned as instructed. Only refunded for one of 6 items. Theres no way to get to anyone about this. Its not worth it. 0 stars. I would not bother ever again. Absurd.

Utterly frustrating to deal with. Worst customer service and uneducated "fraud team". My order was shortly flagged by security for fraud check. They demanded screenshot of the transaction showing on my bank account. Sent. Rejected. Sent it again. Rejected again. Logged into my banking website to send screenshot from statement. Rejected. Sent screenshot from mobile app. Rejected. These foolish people don't even know what they are looking for and asking for. Eventually after 4 or t attempts. They said I failed the checks and cancelled my order. The refund was processed and I received less money back into my account than what I paid them. They are unhelpful and utterly useless. Heartless. I will never try shop here again.

No one from the company will give me a straight answer on why this has happened! Btw,previously my reviews have been positive!

I am writing to formally report myself as a victim, along with many others, of a large-scale fraudulent activity and deceptive practices orchestrated by the companies Hotmart, Conectamoda / CM, and SHEIN Clothing. Our shared experiences reveal a well-coordinated effort to exploit unsuspecting individuals globally through false advertising, financial deception, and unethical practices.

As a victim, I have personally encountered the following deceptive practices:

1. **False promises of a free app with charges later refunded:** I was misled into believing the app was free, only to be charged $25, with no promised refund options. The advertised refund process is non-existent.

2. **Misleading payment structure:** The app falsely advertised the potential to earn up to $3,000 per day, while the actual payment per rating was a minimal amount (one or two cents). The promised payment structure is deceptive and designed to lure individuals with false earning potential.

3. **Non-existent PayPal option:** Despite advertising a PayPal option, I found there was no such functionality within the app. The absence of the promised payment method adds to the deceptive nature of the scheme.

4. **Inability to change password and non-functional buttons:** I was unable to update my password, and several buttons within the app did not work as intended. The lack of basic functionality within the app hinders user control and adds to the frustration of victims.

5. **No customer support and contact information:** There is no customer support available, and attempts to contact the companies through provided email addresses and links led to nowhere. The absence of any support channels leaves victims without recourse or assistance.

6. **Unauthorized charges and fake emails:** I, along with many others, have reported being charged four times the advertised amount and receiving strange emails about the purchase of classes, with links leading to nonexistent destinations. The unauthorized charges and fake emails further contribute to the financial harm suffered by victims.

7. **Inability to cash out:** I am unable to withdraw any earnings, as the buttons and links for cashing out are grayed out and do not lead to any functional options. The promised ability to cash out earnings is entirely deceptive, leaving victims without access to their supposed earnings.

8. **Limited outfits to rate, rotating content, and deceptive payment display:** The only way to open the app is through a link. Within the app, there are only 15 outfits to rate, and they keep rotating. While the app claims to pay 2 cents per rating, the advertising promises of earning between $10 to $25 per rating are entirely misleading. The app shows an earned amount of $4, but the button to withdraw it does not work, and there is no accessible link for withdrawal. The entire operation appears to be a fraudulent scheme.

This fraudulent activity has caused significant financial harm and emotional distress to numerous individuals, myself included. We urgently request intervention by the FTC, BBB, and FBI to conduct a thorough investigation into the activities of Hotmart, Conectamoda / CM, and SHEIN Clothing. Swift and decisive action is necessary to protect victims and hold the responsible parties accountable.

I am willing to provide any additional information or assistance required to facilitate a comprehensive investigation.

Once was great- not any more. Temu has better prices, customer service, and a 90-day return policy. Long review warning.

Sadly, after being a very loyal customer for over 4 years, placing regular orders, being a paying member of their membership discount program, and constantly recommending Shien to friends and family, the policies, customer support, and product quality has drastically declined over the last few months. Their response to more competitors becoming reputable, has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Shipping with Shien has always been and remains extremely sluggish, but that was expected with this merchant. Their latest policy change does not coincide with their shipping speeds and new practice of breaking orders into MANY sub orders, shipping separately. Now, returns must be made within 35 days of PLACING the order. I could understand a 35 day return policy for a company with regular shipping speeds, but coupled with the extensive wait times and erratic separation of orders, I feel the return window should start when the order is shipped, or even better, fully received. Not 35 days after it was PLACED.

My latest issue was particularly frustrating. I needed to return some items from my latest order that had arrived in many separate packages over a month. I was one day outside of the 35 day return window and the agent outright refused to start a return for me. I spent an hour chatting with customer service agent Mex, and got nowhere- just the same non-helpful pre-scripted responses.

Hating to write off Shein so quickly, I submitted a ticket the following day. I was connected with a new agent, Edlyn and Andrian, who were both extremely helpful, and offered a one-time courtesy to return the items. My faith in the company was restored and I was happy to take the time to provided the requested photos to ensure the return would be accepted.

We went back and forth through messages as there is a notable delay in response time. I spent hours compiling the various photos requested, and organizing the orders in a PDF. This order was particularly confusing because nearly every item had been separated out into its own unique order number. Wanted to make it as easy for the agent as possible, so I took several hours to organize all of this.

I even placed 2 new orders!

I went to upload the photos and organized PDF and saw that the ticket had been closed out the day before. I opened a second ticket and was connected with Kato, and spent the next few days messaging only to get the same dismissive pre-scripted responses I had gotten with Mex.

I am shocked at the lack of flexibility and assistance Shein is now providing its loyal customers. It's clear that Shein no longer values its loyal shoppers.

Moreover, the quality of their clothing and condition in which it is received has noticeably deteriorated over the past few months. The fabrics feel cheaper, and the craftsmanship is subpar compared to what it used to be.

I'm extremely disappointed and will no longer be shopping with Shein or recommending them to others. They should seriously reconsider their approach to customer service and quality if they hope to retain customers.

I order from SHEIN a lot and I use to receive my items within no longer than 7 days. Now it's taking atleast a month or longer! I understand that SHEIN may have an extremely high order demand per other customers but that is all the more reason a better plan for shipping needs to be created and strongly enforced!

I ordered pants that are not true to size...the quality and material is very very cheap...none of the shoes fit...they are all too small...not true to size...can't get an answer from customer service about sending them back and its been over a week..

This store is a COMPLETE joke! They don't honor their price adjustment policy! I purchased MANY items and within a couple of days, the price was reduced significantly! I get a pop-up that the price isn't lower than when purchased? REALLY?! I brought this to customer service's attention who asked me to send them screenshots of my order and the current prices, which I did and it took me almost 15 minutes to do so! What do they tell me? I didn't meet the criteria? WTH?! The bottom line is that these scammers don't honor their policies...PERIOD!

HONOR YOUR PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY!

Scammers, liers, cheats and thieves. I used to swear by shein. Loved them. Decent clothes for good prices. Yes some are super cheap but I always thought what the harm I could return them. Well the harm is the lie about receiving all of your return and will only claim to receive part of it even though it all has the same tracking number. They claim they didn't receive back the most expensive item that it was still in transit but it literally had the same tracking number as the items they admitted to receiving and processed the return for, all of course for the cheap items but the one expensive item I had they still keep trying to say is still in transit even though they again they already admitted to receiving and processing the rest of the return in the same package. They also in one message would tell me they would process the return then in the very next say no we won't it hasn't been received, even after I could prove they received it. So if you do buy from them be willing to not bother with returns and just loosing money if clothes don't fit...

After purchasing one item to see the validity of the company, I was satisfied and therefore went full speed ahead and ordered several items. In the beginning, you get text emails encouraging returns that are free before 30 some days but try to return there is absolutely no communication even when you contactcustomer service. Then you see all the restrictions, the return items does not process what a mess pay more stay in America.

Tip for consumers:
Once you purchase, it is impossible to return and they advertise free returns. There is no communication even though they text an email you you cannot respond or request to speak to someone or return items.
