Terrible Experience with Shein's Return Process
I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Shein and their return process. Not only did they fail to take appropriate action, but their lack of accountability and dishonesty left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.
I applied for a return with Shein, and they sent a logistic partner to collect the package, whom swapped my package with another shop. The other shop, rightfully recognizing the mistake, promptly returned my product and notified me. But Shein? They simply taking the easy way out.
When I contacted Shein to inform them of the mix-up, they initially reaffirmed me that they had received the correct package and issued a refund. But when I verified and provided them with photographic evidence that I still had Shein package and what they received is non shein. In a complete turn of events, Shein suddenly denied ever receiving the package, contradicting their previous messages. They tried to shift the blame onto logistic partner, and denying any action. The truth is Shein operation team received the product without checking and confirm the refund. When i asked them to return they lost it probably because they couldnt track down with own operation and changed their words to not receiving it. This outrageous behavior is an insult to a loyal customers like me who trust to shop at Shein over the years with big orders. Even if they shift the blame to logistic its their logistic partner who they should be the one who claim with them and not me. And Shein certainly has no rights to keep the product which is alot more expensive tha n Shein product.
It's astonishing to see such a lack of responsibility and accountability from a big company like Shein. Their inability to handle a simple return and their refusal to admit their mistakes points to a deeply flawed system. It raises serious concerns about the integrity and effectiveness of their processes. It seems like Shein's lack of accountability means that anyone could return anything without anyone double-checking it.
Their failure to rectify the situation, their inconsistency in their responses, and their refusal to take responsibility have left me deeply disappointed. I caution anyone considering shopping with Shein to think twice before doing so. There are plenty of other companies out there who value their customers and prioritize genuine customer service.

I have always believed in the old saying, "You get what you pay for," but with Shein, you may not even get that much. I have had several disappointing experiences with the brand and, while I initially wrote them off as isolated incidents, a pattern has become clear.
Let's start with the clothes. The quality is often subpar, if not downright poor. Fabrics feel thin and cheap, they fray after only a few wears, and the fits are inconsistent at best. My first order included a range of sizes, expecting some differences, but what I received was almost comical in its inconsistency. A 'Medium' in one style could have been a 'Large' in another, and an 'Extra Small' in yet another.
Moreover, Shein's photography and descriptions are deceptive. I've bought items that looked stunning online only to be let down when I saw them in person. The colors, fabric quality, and detailing are often quite different from the images you see on the site. I've had several instances of receiving items that bore little resemblance to their online counterparts, with colors and patterns that are less vibrant and fabric quality that's nothing short of disappointing.
Customer service is another issue. My attempts to rectify situations have often been met with sluggish responses and complex return policies. While the site touts easy returns, in reality, the process is anything but smooth. On more than one occasion, I have been left feeling frustrated and unheard, which is unacceptable from any consumer standpoint.
Lastly, I have major concerns about Shein's fast-fashion business model. It's not just about receiving low-quality items; it's also about what the business represents. Fast fashion has significant negative impacts on the environment and often exploits workers in low-wage countries. It's clear that Shein's affordability comes at a cost that's borne by our environment and people who make the clothes.
In conclusion, Shein may be suitable for some one-time wear or disposable fashion options, but if you're seeking quality, reliable sizing, responsible manufacturing, and customer service that values your time and money, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I, for one, will no longer be giving my business to Shein, and I would urge others to consider the real cost of fast, cheap fashion.

Where do I begin?
I had contacted the company to initiate a return using their live chat as per the instructions on their website after receiving an item that did not fit (they sent me an M instead of S) and another item with fabric that was already pulled. After attempting to speak to multiple people via live chat and having them close the chat on me, ultimately cutting any attempt at communication, I attempted yet again to speak to someone via chat, but their chat service stopped working on my account with my IP address (I tested it using a different IP address and it worked which makes it clear that they blocked me). I contacted them by email and left a negative review on this website due to their poor customer service. As a customer, I should not feel like I need to run around chasing a company to do something as simple as a return. They did not respond to my email immediately, but then messaged me here asking me to email them so we could resolve the problem. They offered to help me with the return, but I told them that I would be away for a while and could not resolve this right now. They offered me a partial refund for the issues that they had caused and said it would take 10-30 days to receive it. I was content with this agreement, however, I have been waiting for about 10 days now. In the mean time, they kept emailing me asking me to change my review to something more positive. I deleted my previous review, but it is quite clear what happened here. They never sent me the refund... they just wanted me to delete my review. It does not take that long to receive a refund EVER. Do NOT be fooled if they do so this to you.
I wonder how this company is still in business. If you're going to engage in fraudulent behaviour, how can you still be operating? You are a disgusting company and I will never ever order from you again. I have already told many of my friends not to bother with this website even though the prices are so cheap. A headache for the sole reason that they do not know how to own a business.

I received my order. Three of the items were HUGE despite ordering an XS, poorly fabricated, and one was pulled/ripped because the quality was so cheap. I contacted their customer service via live chat to initiate a refund and they closed the chat on me, clearly refusing to help me. I tried to re-open the live chat to speak to someone else and again, they closed the chat on me. I cannot get access to the live chat anymore for whatever reason, which leaves me at a loss for my money. I proceeded to email them, but have yet to hear back. There's no other means of communicating them it seems - another sign this website is a SCAM. I want a full refund for my items. I will never order from this website again and I refuse to pay any shipping costs to return the items, especially when I am trying to get ahold of them to initiate the refund and they cut off communication. It's disgusting - a complete rip off and scam. They clearly just steal your money. DO NOT order from here.

I'm so embarrassed that I felt once again for this website. I thought that if they changed their name from sheinside to shein, maybe they've changed even their practices and management A year ago, I had two orders from sheinside- the first arrived in 5 weeks, after I got frustrated that I've ordered a skirt which they didn't deliver and exchanged with another product. The skirt that came was really ugly and bad quality, so I gave it as a present. My second order never arrived and then is when my nightmare with this company started.
After weeks of emails and quarrels with customer care, I lost my time, money and didn't receive anything. It was exactly the same story like now; they told me that my order is on the way, it never arrived of course. I constantly asked for a tracking number which they never provided- in the end, I got exhausted with them and said I don't want to hear from them again. Then for exactly another month, I was constantly writing them to find out how to close my account because they were spamming my email with their ads and I didn't want to hear from them again. It turns out, you can't eliminate your account and they will spam you until your dead.
After a year of hiatus, I did the most idiotic thing ever. I opened one of their spam emails and found myself navigating on their website. Unfortunately, I've placed a 50 USD order which AGAIN was never sent out! Now, I'm blocked in the same nightmare. Paid and didn't receive anything- they just took my money. No money, no order just discussions with a customer care responsible who doesn't even speak proper English. They AGAIN don't have a tracking number and again the same excuses and dumb replies. They offered me for my order a 5 USD COUPON! So I would have to place another order and pay it with them, which of course would never arrive.
Out of 3 orders, all 3 were frauds but this time I won't things go their way and I have contacted my bank to open a fraud report against this company. I urge you to do the same if it happens to you. It takes a longer time but it is better than letting them get away like this. They can't constantly change the name of their company and steal our money.
This is a website which uses pictures from other websites, not even their own and then they sell you cheaper products. Also, every product you find on shein, is available on aliexpress at 50-70% lower price, you just need time to browse to all their products and producers. The ugly skirt they've delivered at 20 usd, I found it at 6,50 usd on aliexpress. I felt like crying but I will not be fooled again by them.

My experieince was not good at all. I found a black dress that I really liked and they also had it in red. My bf decided to get the red for me and I bought the black. Before I bought I didnt look at any reviews and after my bf showed them to me I tried to cancel it. Hadn't even been 3 hours. It said ticket recieved, so I thought they would cancel it. NOOOOPE. A few days later I got a shipped note and I was like, what the hell. They replied to the ticket 3 DAYS AFTER I SENT THE CANCEL TICKET! I canceled within 2 hours of ordering. Now I just have to hope that when it gets here I can somehow wear it. The ticket said "sorry we already sent it out", even though im sure they hadnt when i first sent the ticket in. Scandalous. It's like they saw it and waited so they wouldn't have to cancel it. AND, the return policy is a joke, if you read it, it is nearly impossible to return anything. -.- I haven't gotten a tracking number or anything at all. I'd rather use Aliexpress or Alibaba before I use this site ever again.

Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
