I have used Aliexpress in the past for more than 50-60 orders without having serious problems, except their below average online help service. Unfortunately all have become problematic from late June onwards.
On 28/6/2016 a seller gave me a refund of 62,50 euros for an order and I was eagerly waiting for the money to use to on another order. I was waiting and waiting and waiting. I contacted numerous time the terrible online service and I always had the same answer "The refund process takes 3-15 working days to complete, please waiit a little longer". Well guess what... the 15 working days have already passed and today I received the outrageous answer that I will have TO WAIT ONE MORE MONTH (!) to see the money.

Obviously ALIEXPRESS runs under financial problems. STAY AWAY at any cost because you gamble your precious money on this site.

The cellphone looked like POCO Xiaomi, but I realized that it is counterfeit Xiaomi cellphone after I received the cellphone. AliExpress Canada agrees my refund request, but I have to pay for the cost of returning a counterfeit cellphone. The cost is half of what I paid for the cellphone. It is unfair.

Ordered a gown that was supposed to have long sleeves to cover a burnt arm. They were to make it according to the pcture that had long sleeves but when it arrived the sleeves were up to my elbows. They kept me in a chat for about an hour and gave me every excuse in the book for not refunding my order. I coped all of the conversations I had with them. I was asked if a tailor here could fix it, told they had to pay for the material and would not be able to pay their workers and even that maybe my arm was too fat? I am a beanpole! Then I kept getting sad faces, crying faces and so on. How did they get a gold medallion rating? I finially told them I would singlr handedly try to ruin there company, so this will be posted everywhere for a very long time!

Very beautiful and light. I can read perfectly now. My only concern is that it came with no protection. Lucky me I received it in one piece! I like to buy in AliExpress, rarely had problems.

Aliexpress need to do better jobs by protecting buyers. I had two bad experience with two stores from aliexpress. First store sent me broken headphone i opened dispute to get my money back but aliexpress did nothing to hepl me.
This time (Zair official Store) this store owner sent me email saying he cancelled my order after two months waiting then i opened dispute to get refund but nothing. And store owner ignoring my messages.
Be careful when you buy from Aliexpress. If you are ready to risk your money you can buy from aliexpress.

Watch out this Christmas, AliExpress are doing Choice shipping with free returns but it's not free. For example I bought 4 items that came to £16 and few pence, the seller sent me 4 wee thing that would only be worth a couple of pounds. Nothing like I ordered.They might as well sent me nothing. You will lose your order because I opened a case with AliExpress and they gave me return address in the UK that doesn't exist. Have been scammed by the seller JOOYOO Fishing Store and AliExpress

I have used it for about half a year. You do indeed have to be careful of scammers. However, I have made ~30 orders, only 1 of which gave me a negative experience. I think the 2 star is not fair.

You just have to be aware of one thing. Almost EVERY >8Gb microSD card you see on aliexpress is fake. Run h2testw on it will reveal only 4Gb or 8Gb. Search "fake microsd card" on google and find that it is a HUGE problem.

Also, Aliexpress has a fairly crappy feedback system such that it doesn't mean anything if the item has a good rating. People can't revise their rating to negative, and most people just leave 5 star when they receive the goods. Only a few people actually spend the time to review after they used the goods for a while. You just have to be careful and go through a few pages of feedbacks before deciding.

Biggest Scam Protector

Stay away from this shop named: BeyondTech-Top-rated Genuine Mobile Phone Store from Aliexpress. They cheat several customers with "New" phones, but in reality it's the malfunctioned phones with old motherboard picked up from Saudi Arabia (see pics). When reporting to Aliexpress, they just protect their fraudulent sellers!

RIP OFF!

RIP OFF! Do not do business with Constep. I bought a pair of boots that were junky and returned them following the instructions provided by the company. I have yet to receive my refund and cannot get a response from them. I have reported Constep to the BBB of New York. Beware, they are a CON.

System does not work

We have an item which we ordered on the 7th Jan it still has not been sent we have canceled the order numerous times, it says awaiting cancelation then the order goes back to waiting to ship! We have had NO contact from the seller so what is the automatic cancelation after 48hrs we will not be using Ali express after this thankfully the item was not expensive and obviously they will get a poor review too take my advice use someone else

Super stupid customers service

I bought a outlook parts for my car, was receive crack(almost broke in half). Then did dispute for full refund but after one day, dispute was finished but only got half back... i was surprised.so i was appeal for it. Wait 2days got the answer my appreal was decline because goods is crack but stil have value to it... WTF broken crack auto parts still has value... who is going to put it on for crack looking or accident looking Car...

Purchased a bicycle helemt knowing it would be a replica, when it arrived no branding on it and was very poor quality. The images on the sellers store and in the reviews section showed a helemt that was branded and of better quality than the one I recived.

Stay Away at All Costs.

Purchased two separate clothing items. One was clearly the wrong item. Supposed to come with elastic ends on sleeves and ankles and did not and it was too big after giving them detailed measurements. The other one was two small after giving them detailed measurements. Customer Service is a robot and there is no live person to talk to EVER. Upon submitting the return request which they advertise as free and hassle free, they kept denying it saying there was not enough information after uploading pictures. Then they closed both return and appeal requests which means you can never open it again to try and resolve it. Sellers keep responding with a link to do a return but they have been told I can no longer return because the case was closed. It is a very vicious cycle. They will wear you out until you decide you have just been had and move on. I have gotten something from them before. If you do not have to return it, you might make out okay but why take that risk? They are horrible. Stay far away.

Do not be fooled by this site. I AM WARNING YOU! Also be advised that if you do communicate with them and they tell you to return the product, you will not hear from them ever again after they receive it and you will not get a refund!

Crooked to the Core!

Aliexpress Dispute system is a sham. They believe their Vendors. I had an order which was marked Delivered on the Aliexpress website, but it was not delivered. My Dispute was ruled in favor of the Seller. My order was then marked Completed. Aliexpress has no real Guarantee, as they state. They are just as crooked as some of their Sellers (opinion). Their Catch 22 comeback is "provide evidence" of the non-delivery. I WILL NOT SHOP AT ALIEXPRESS AGAIN!

Fake logitech mouse

I bought at aliexpress on RGANO Professional Peripherals Store a logitech mouse. Everything indicated that it would be genuine and the price was rather lower than in other online stores. When I received it I could't believe I had just bought a 23 dollar mouse worse than a 3 dollar one just by sliding it or scrolling a first time. The mouse is far from being genuine but the seller didn't admit it and aliexpress did not contact me to solve the problem. When I agreed with the seller to return the product he said I had to pay the return post. I couldn't do it because it would cost me the double I had paid for the mouse. Attached are photos with the product number and the serial number and the face of the mouse with no logo in the front.

Incompetent frauds

Unliaterally CLOSED an order without offering any reasons. Fine. But
Then charged my Paypal for said order. When confronted, refused to
Admit customer was charged on a closed order. When presented with
Paypal Official Statement proving that I was charged, AliExpress still
Refused to reverse charges and request "Bank Statement and Bank
Signature" to prove I was charged. The chat rep actually wrote
"signature has to be of the Bank's Officials". AliExpress will instead
Get a charge back penalty from my credit card and a permanently closed
Account as I will never do business with such fraud and incompetent

I ordered a watch through AliExpress. I cancelled it because I didn't see the refunds I thought I added to the item. I reordered the same item, made sure the refunds were included. I received the item, no problem, but never got the refund from the cancelled item. It says cancelled on their site, but no bueno. I've spent months trying to get it back, including conversations with SteelDive, the merchant I bought the watch from, and PayPal, who were also terrible. Lost $140.
