I have purchased items from many sites in china the overall difference with DHGate is not only the huge range of products and sellers to choose from.
But the fact that they are there with you every step of the way with customer support, holding funds until orders are delivered and accepted by the customer, offering guarentees ect gives you the confidence to buy knowing you will get what you ordered or it free.
I used to use Amazon and Ebay only. I circled around DHGate and ordered from the other site Aliexpress only once. I have a good eye for trends and want to start my own business someday. I can't afford alot and I make jewelry so I really shop around. DHGate has some of the best prices out there without having to buy wholesale or drop ship. You just have to look and read the reviews of the seller. For the price its like everywhere 4 out of 5 are excellent. Also DHGate has the best customer service. I totally trust buying there. They are my favorite site for everything.

I've never had a problem with product description, delivery timing, pricing, or the quality of the products which i have purchased.
HOWEVER, I would like the sellers to keep the communication going with me about the products I buy, if i ask!
(ie:- Asking a sellers advice or tips on how to properly wash & care for a wig... I still havent had a reply 5 weeks later)
I am prompt and efficiant in buying and paying these "sellers" as I am being a good reliable customer. I would expect the same respect and manners in return.

DHgate has a very efficient/effective customer service and quality control model. Although some sellers may have language barriers or vague descriptions of products and often unjustified claims of shipping times; both buyer and seller are protected within this model. I have made many purchases on DHgate and with their model both the seller and myself have always come to an agreement. DHgate ensures that all sellers claims are fulfilled and ensures payment of the buyer upon this follow-though.

I ordered my wedding dress in March and just received it. It looks NOTHING like as described! Looks cheap and horrible! So disappointing that I paid this much for it! Im not even allowed to request a refund until Monday and now have to find another wedding dress that doesnt look like it came out of a trash can! Never order dresses from this place! I have written to DHgate several times and instead of them addressing my concerns all they do is continuously send me the same form letter over and over. In other words they are not going to do a thing for me. I guess stealing is a practice that they feel they can do without any penalties.

This is what I am sending to the Federal Trade Commission since you refuse to give me a refund To whom it may concern at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), On October 8th 2017 I purchased a pair of sneakers size 13 (New Max 2016 II) from a company called DHgate. One of their sellers that is a contractor for DHgate named Tebe sold me a the sneaker and when I received the merchandise the size was wrong it was a size 12.5 instead of a 13. As instructed by the company and the seller I have sent back the merchandise for a full refund for the cost of the shoes ($57.99) and cost of the shipping ($33.75) I have tried endlessly to contact the seller at the advice of DHgate and he has not returned any of my emails and the company refuses to do anything, even though this person works for the company. Attached you will see proof of all evidence that I have stated. Thank you for any consideration and help you can give me.
It's a scam! Stay away! I ordered diapers. They sent a real package, with a real tracking number, but then they called UPS, pretending to be Toys R Us, and had the package held back at their loading dock. I never got my package. Basically, i paid for someone else to ship something. Scam Scam SCAM!

DhGate is great. There are quite a few sketchy sellers and a few flaws with how they run things. (example: sellers can receive Your order for an item they don't even have in stock then cancel it to show that they have another order. But, since they cancel it You cannot leave a review for this.)
Just received my very first purchase from a Seller on DHgate and despite my initial hesitations I must say it was a very pleasant shopping experience. Signing up for an account was very easy, navigating the site just as easy and the amount of items offered is incredible.
Buying and making payment was smooth and I like how DHgate makes it simple to communicate with Sellers before, during and after purchases. DHgate takes care of you with really good follow-up communications and they have a very good system in place to help ensure you get what you pay for - they only release your payment to the Seller (escrow) when you receive and inform then you are happy with your item!
As DHgate is only a shopping platform with thousands of Sellers, it pays to do some research on the Sellers you're buying from, ask questions and compare carefully. And if you do that, you will have a great shopping experience just like I did. WIll definitely be buying more from DHgate!
Why would anyone buy anything from a company that has this many unsatisfied customers. Sounds like the only thing this company care about is your money and the hell with anything else. A couple of years ago I purchased a Guitar price around $240.00 had two small cracks when I received it and that was the last stupid purchase I made on this website. Never again...

This online website is really bad service. If you buy stuff from here and ask for refund, there's no hope. They will never refund your money. Another thing is, they don't do what they promised. All they do is lied to you to solve the problem. Never buy thing from here again. I am saying this base on my experience. Very disappointed with the service and the seller. I've ordered different merchandise 7 times now and each time it's been a good, and an honest transaction. Understand, it will take longer than other resources to receive your merchandise (It is being shipped overseas) but the wait is no longer than it should be and you are given tracking numbers and emails to follow your order. I highly recomment DHgate!

I am an artist and I tried contacting them because I saw that some of my artwork being sold through DHGate. I work very hard to create my artwork and to have someone steal it and sell it is really disturbing and taking money out of my pockets. Their answer was for me to contact the seller which of course did nothing because the seller won't respond. I have had this same issue with ebay and Amazon but they asked me to provide the information and will look into it. DHGate couldn't be bothered.
DHGate is a complete scam. I researched and researched thinking i might be able to find an affordable wedding dress. I knew going into this that it would be a gamble, however, after thoroughly reading through the reviews, I went for it. The dress was AWFUL. You could see right through it, the quality was poor. The seems were coming undone. The seller asked me to illegally ship this back so that they would not be fined with customs. After this, I opened a dispute with DHgate, sent NUMEROUS of photos, of which were all very much valid, and able to see the mistakes. I sent over 20 photos, and they claimed none of them were up to their expectation. In the end I was unable to receive my refund and was asked to spend over $100 to ship the dress back, the dress was $177 in the first place. Yes, i know it was a huge risk to try and find a dress, but based on the photos and reviews. I had no reason not to go for it. I would absolutely not trust their quality nor their customer service.

I`m doing shopping on DHgate and i don`t have anything bad to say about it. My packages are very quickly shipped. But unfortunately customs agents are doing everything very slowly and it takes them a lot of time. With paying for my orders i don`t have any problems. Everything is correct.
This site has got better just like Aliexpress has.
It has some very good bargains, most have free post and you do not have to buy in bulk.
The orders you make can be cancelled if you choose and the refunds happen within a week.
A huge site to dig around!

Firstly, i must say, DHGate staff lack a good command of english.
Secondly, if customers(buyers) have a problem, its very difficult to relay the concern.
Thirdly, the sellers advertise an item, but customers upon purchasing receive something else. Upon sending the non-advertised item, the seller then closes the transaction, thus after 90days of delivery customer cannot even request a refund or report the item. In saying so, i must say, the payment is then released to the seller.
Fourthly, I personally have never had a single good experience with DHGate
The selection and security of ordering and getting what you paid for is great! So are the prices. A great way to start up a small business without the process of applying for a resale id.
My only problem is the language barrier. Sometimes translation can be tricky, making communication difficult.
Good so far but the items description has to be more specific and accurate and we as customers don't have to check if vendor is or isn't a good one, you should check it before so we can trust in you as a whole site.

I ordered my daughter's prom dress from a Chinese company called DH Gate. The dress was nothing like the photo. In order to return it, it would cost hundreds of dollars to ship with no guarantee of a refund. Luckily I used my American Express card because I was able to get a refund through them. Now I refuse to buy anything online from China or Japan.

My experience with Dhgate Resolution Center is not that good. To contact them is very difficult. No communication at all. Thanks to the customer service (after the third time) they finally understand. My dispute kept staying in the same stage while their was a already a solution for the dispute. Because of that the seller couldn't provide the address to return the wig. It cost me so much precious time try to make contact with the resolution center that communicate with Dhgate. It was completely terrible. I made an order of around 6 items, a few of them did not even ship. The order was cancelled, however, this was after I made my purchase so I was $#*!ed over and ripped off.
