If you do your home mean searching seller reviews, pictures and look for best prices you will be ok most sellers are good honest sellers just some are bad I always shop on dhgate only rarely I am disappointed.
Some what guarded. While most has gone well one has not! And as yet not concluded! This ordeal has been ongoing for months and has left a very bad taste in my mouth from this experience. I would like to warn others that if there is a warranty issue it will cost you dearly for return shipping and on top of that I had to pay for parts for the repair, doesn't sound very fair now does it?
Did several sourcing for inventory and it's a hit or miss depending on the vendor you are working with through the site. The site itself is very not intuitive for online shopping platform, lots of missing link and information are very disconnected. Dispute resolution has been very bad, basically you're in the mercy of the vendor and it's like playing broken telephone with non English speaking vendors. Some products does comes smoothly though. Read the review for each vendors very carefully, and for any items that are marked to ship in light years away, believe that it will be a light years away...
I recently bought a pair of Nike roshe runs from dhgate. Not only did they take forever, but they did not look like the ones shown in the picture! I have emailed the seller several times now with no response. I want my money back or I'm taking this matter public. This is ridiculous, if they were selling fake shoes it would be better if they had not shown a photo of the real item! That's conning somebody.

I ordered an item that was shipped from Singapore. Usually items from China and other Asian countries take around 30 to 45 days for delivery. I believe my item arrived in under two weeks, amazing service from the seller.
Disappointed with your site. I ordered 2 dolls based on photos & descriptions on the add & I paid top dollar for the items. When received the first one it was cheap and disgusting and not even worth 5% of what I paid for it. Went straight to the bin. I thought with massive website like yours will be more control. I don't think this will happen with ebay or aliexpress & that where I will & keep shipping. Good luck with losing more customers. Interestingly since I wrote my 1 star review, DHgate have been in touch, really apologetic and asking me for proof of my payments. This was easy for me to answer as I simply re-sent them the information I had sent them in November 17, when my money first went missing. It did no good then, I'm not holding my breath now. So far in the past 5 days I've sent them 6 emails, this is in addition to the 34 I've sent them to date. Only another 100 messages to go to make it 1 email for every £1 I've lost!

I transferred £140 to the DHgate Hong Kong bank account in November 2017 and waited for it to be then credited into my DHGate account. Nothing appeared and despite contact DHGate Customer service several times, I got no help whatsoever. After several weeks of trying I decided to cancel and so asked my bank to recall the money (which had still not appeared anywhere). At the moment, my bank tells me that the DHgate bank is being very uncooperative and denying any transfer took place, despite being given all the relevant references.
I'm slowly beginning to accept that I won't see my money again, with absolutely nothing to show for it. Anyone who thinks about sending DHgate money, should do so with the knowledge that it may be the last they see of it.
I ordered 300 sets of 4 of a silicone kitchen product. Every piece (1200 in all) are defective. There are black spots on several and silicone is hanging from the seams of all of the pieces. I was told to send photos which I did. I was offered 30.00 of my 741.00 and told by the manufacturer to sell at a discount. These are not sellable and I don't sell factory thirds. I filed a claim with DHgate and was told to send a video and had 2 days. They sent notice on Friday. Sent the video, they said they never received. Sent again via drop box, again they didn't receive. Got an e-mail this morning saying I would get 200.00 and arbitration is closed. Not happy with them and I would be very leery of placing an order, If you have a problem you are stuck with the product. We'll see what they reply next... order number *******. There is no reason to doubt that dhgate is a reliable website. Their payment works on the escrow system, meaning sellers will not be paid until you receive your item in working condition. Quality could be questionable on some products, so do your research and read other reviews because there is good stuff on there.

Shipping will take some time depending on the product, so be patient with sellers. Often they are doing as much as they can and want you to have a quality transaction.
I've been a customer for quite some time, and have bought many items. In general, the quality has been good and the web site is fairly sophisticated. However, the emails they send (with statuses and requests to confirm information) don't work -- the mail merge fails and thus both my name and the order number is missing. I've complained to them, but no response and no fix. Too bad, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.
I purchased a beautiful design dress per photo but once I received it, it was not closed to the pictures. A scam. Items not sent. Bogus Tracking numbers. Australia Post also conned by these people. Really difficult to complain, resolve issues or get a refund. Dispute process difficult to initiate, particularly if items don't arrive. Customer service a joke - some automated monkey creature. Made as difficult as possible. AVOID THIS SITE - Use AliExpress, Wish or Amazon - at least they are honest and generally reliable.
I returned this item, Express Mail, as I was not happy with product, to provided address. Apparently, it was not delivered or picked up by chinese mail and the item was just returned to me.
After spending over $400 for wheels and $90 for return, I got screwed out of my money either way.
Not happy at all and please, if you're in the US or Europe, do not buy these type of things from China. In the likely event you want to return them, you can just as well forget about your money and get stuck with something you don't want. Very unhappy!

It was very easy to send the Western Union and then watch as the orders each went thru their progression on the website this gives you greater confidence in the process when you can see the stages your order is going through. I received all my items and they were as displayed - Sent my order around one of your holidays which delayed some items being sent but love each one. Thank you.
Absolute con, items that arrived were nothing like the picture, poor quality and awful. DHGate agreed to give me my shipping costs back once I return the items, which I did. Its a now been 3 months and nothing, they wont respond they even acknowledge me. Disgrace, I import many items but this is the worst company ive ever dealt with
The customer service is bad, the sellers hardly can understand English, the size guide is always changing and sellers when you ask a question all you get one word replies like "ok" "yes".

DHgate double charged me for an item, they didn't help resolve the problem after I explained this double charge put my account at a negative balance then got charged overdraft fees for that on top of it! Since they were not helpful in resolving this, I will not use them again

I am yet to receive my order - so so far my experience is far from satisfactory. I paid priority shipping and have been waiting in excess of 2 months.
We needed the dance boots for a specific date which has long since gone - and yet still no product, no message, nothing.
I was nervous about even ordering from them and when I went to create an account it wanted to sign in using an account I already had like facebook or linked in. I chose linked in and then deleted the set up account when I was routed to a screen that said I was giving them permission to use my account. I did receive shoes that I ordered but they were very uncomfortable and I was not able to wear them. When I attempted to return them I was told they were not returnable. Although prior to ordering the site said you could.

Arrived quickly very well packaged The pictures show about 15 different varieties of solar flowers. The ad stated a random assortment. Never did I dream that they were all going to be the same. Why would I want my whole order to be one kind. The ad as very deceptive. Should have never ordered them! It would cost too much to pay return shipping to China so will keep them but will never order from seller again.
