Could never get customer service. Tracking was ridiculous. Says it shipped out before it was processed. Will never order from them again. They are a 3rd party and cant help with disputes. But they can take your money.
I have made multiple purchases on DHgate and I have yet to encounter any problems. Their platform is a great way to connect with sellers from across the globe, and seek out merchandise at the lowest possible price, with quality equal to that of a brick and mortar store. Shipping is often times very slow taking up to 30 days in my experience but this is expected across the borad with sites similar to DH gate.
I bought items from DHgate for a two years period beginning 2015 to the end of 2016. I'm a retailer so I spent well in excess of $20,000 on products over the two year period. In 2015 I had a total of only 5 defects which I thought was amazingly low. But in 2016 it was the complete opposite. For every 10 items I ordered with out fail 5 did not work, defects. It was like the manufactures that DHgate represented didn't care and just shipped out defective items just to get your money. Now I did point out this out to DHgate several times but at one point the defects were mounting such much so that you just didn't want to be bothered anymore. A lot of money went into the garbage. DHgate did the best that they could but if the manufactures don't care then what good is DHgate?

Bought galaxy s9+. Good price. Shipped fast. Doesn't work with my sim card, mobile data doesn't work, ad says it has 128 gb of storage and before i transfer any of my files it shows 40 gb is available. When i try to download info from a phone with minimal storage, before the apps are even transfered the phone show s storage full. Owned alot of phones. Never had a problem with any of them. Rip off. The love of money is the root of all evil. Their day will come!

You are worse than the seller. I will make it a point to publicize this horrific experience with you and the seller to amazon, ebay and all social media outlets I can post on.
Very simply, I purchased a shirt. It was too small. All the seller had to do was exchange it for the correct size. Your responsibility was fairness to the consumer as your guarantee states and you did not comply with your own policy. If it were up to me- no one should ever buy through you!
It is very hit and miss whether you get a good product or a bad. The sad part is, if you get a bad product, they say 100% satisfaction, but that is not the case. I have a machine I paid 640.00 + for and it arrived broken. After much work on my end to submit video and photos, they basically told me to fix it myself. That's it. It makes it bad for the companies that are honest. I will not buy through DHgate again. I don't recommend it.

So it was my wedding and my youngest sister (12 years old) really liked a dress that was on this awful site. I ordered it for her and reminded them constantly to make sure they make the dress according to the measurements i gave them. One month later package arrived. My little sister woke up and ran to open the package as if it was Christmas morning. She started crying. The dress wouldn't even fit a 5 year old. It broke my heart seeing her like that. Immediately i got onto the laptop and messaged them about this terrible service. I asked for a refund and its been 3 months and still haven't got my money back. I've been emailing them constantly and now it has come to the point where they have stopped replying. It frustrates me so much that people can be like this. Is there anyone that can help me sort this out? PLEASE :( $200 gone down the drain.
I've been ordering from DHgate for a couple weeks now. At first everything I was receiving was either damaged, missing, extra stuff I did not order, or orders cancelled because seller decided they just were going to ship the products I guess. A handful of refunds later (which take up to 15 days is a true BUMMER) I'm starting to receive orders that are packaged well, colors and quantities are correct so it is getting better. I'm not sure if the point system they have makes sellers treat you and your orders better, but if they continue to arrive in great shape and the correct colors and quantities I'll continue to order. All in all DHGate seems to be a great website. I'd recommend to other buyers.

DHgate is a good site, but it requires some time to get the hang of it. Message sellers and ask them for their opinions or advice before buying a product. Sellers are usually pretty helpful, and their feedback should be a good indicator of their responsibility to handle your order and shipping it out to you on time. Dhgate can be a goldmine for those who have some spare time to look for some incredible deals, especially when buying in large quantities
Each time I inquire through the website or provide updated information on this review someone from DHG responds with the same and/or more lies - like the fact that there was no dispute on the order that I never received. Paid $160 for nothing but aggravation and time-consuming BS. Same excuses. Same misrepresentations. Just refund the money improperly released to the defaulting seller and stop the song and dance.
Received an email from DHG shortly after leaving this review. I was promised a refund within a week. More than a week has gone by and, no surprise, no refund.
Integrity matters. Yet, DHG creates problems for buyers by not holding its vendors to the established terms of a purchase, then just keeps 'shining' them on with lies. I guess they imagine that unhappy buyers will get tired and walk away empty-handed.
How problems are handled speaks loudly as to an organizations commitment. This one clearly has committed itself heavily toward its vendors - even when they act in bad faith.
So, I have nothing - no matter what contrary assertions are made by DHG - and I paid $160 for nothing except unending frustration. This was a 'test' order in anticipation of a much larger order. Obviously, it was a good thing that I completed this test run. It was, thanks to DHG, a big FAIL.
Tip for consumers:
Hedge your bets. Some of the vendors are highly unreliable and, some, downright dishonest. And, DHG does not hold them to terms of sale.
The five-star reviews must have been straight-forward transactions which did not go sideways. When they do, it is impossible to resolve in a reasonable manner.
Made two simultaneous purchases. Neither ended up being received, yet, I had to pay for one because DHG rewards seller bad faith.
First purchase: Chose item and seller based upon shipper, even though other vendors had better prices. I don't have USPS delivery, so I chose the vendor representing FedEx Ground shipping. Seller did not honor that term of sale and sent it by USPS. I never received it, as a result. DHG refused to demand signature proof of delivery from the seller so that it could be located. DHG kept demanding that I file the claim. Since I don't have standing, as a non-customer of USPS, I could not file. DHG never accepted that reality. The seller never communicated with either me or DHG (based upon chat sessions), yet, DHG rewarded the seller by closing my claim since I could not provide a claim number for a claim I cannot file. It was insane. It was like 'talking' to a wall. In the end, DHG paid the seller for a product I never received despite the fact that the only reason I didn't receive it was the fault of the seller - it didn't even cooperate in the process. The seller could have had the package located. It didn't. Yet, DHG pays my money over to the seller. Paid a lot of money and spent a ridiculous amount of time for absolutely nothing but aggravation and frustration. And, I had to source the product from a retailer since I had a delivery commitment to my buyer. I lost not only the money I paid to DHG, but lost money on the order overall since I had to pay retail for the parts. But, I honored my agreement with my seller. That is what good faith looks like. DHG and its vendors don't really 'get' that concept.
Second purchase: Seller admitted that it did not have the product I ordered, yet, listed it 'shipped' on the DHG website, trying to get me to accept a substitute. I refused. It persisted. DHG would not refund my payment since the item was listed as "shipped." The fact that the seller did not have the product was not a factor it would consider. The seller kept trying to get me buy something. In the end, I did get a refund, but, only about a month later after the delivery window had passed and I filed a claim with DHG. Once filed (for non-receipt) the seller kept demanding that I withdraw it before it would agree to a refund. If I had closed the claim the seller would have been paid automatically. The process of getting a refund for a product that was not even available from the seller was insane. The product was available from other vendors, but I wasn't issued a refund in time to complete those purchases. (And, I wasn't going to place a third order based upon the trouble already experienced until I received the refund.)
Purchase at you own risk.
Dhgate is a scamming site. I ordered a product, it says in the description that the item will be shipped as soon as order is confirmed. My order was confirmed for 6 days straight abd they didn't even ship it off. And so I messaged the seller to see what was up and he never messaged back. Ever. And I'm still waiting on either a reply, a refund, or my order to be shipped. So I requested a refund. Seller ignores that too and wont approve it. So its safe to say Dhgate, congrats, your service is complete $#*!, they scam you telling good prices and what not blah blah, just so you'll pay for it so they can keep your money and not bother giving a refund OR shipping your product. You screwed one of your good customers out of nearly 50 bucks. Complete bull$#*!. Scamming, conniving little thieves that hide behind their computer screens and take your money is what makes up Dhgate and the sellers. By far worst site I've ever ordered from.

Do NOT buy from this site. They will scam you out of your money and ignore you when you go to see what the deal is as to why you are not getting your order. They say good prices and what not but thats only so you will order stuff so they can take that amount off your card. NOTHING BUT PURE SCAM.
This site is my main source for finding jewelry products for resale. It keeps getting better. Items take much less time to arrive than when I first started buying. Also, merchants are getting better with their descriptions, so that I don't need to correspond as often to clarify their offerings. My main issue remains a bit with things being labelled or stamped with 925 meaning that it is sterling silver. If it is not pure and just plated, it is lying to label it as such. Also, in most countries when someone says that something is solid silver or gold, it means that it is pure, not that it is durable. Things are definitely improving, otherwise I woyld have moved on long ago. Thank you for providing your service.
I found the unit I purchased was a copy in many ways in appearance of the original Hitachi unit. It was less powerful and poorly constructed. I do not want to go through the hassle of photos and writing to get my money back. Don't spend more than you are ready to give up. They do not reference their shipping number to the order number so it is impossible to track more than 1 order.

Order#*******. My experience is very bad of shopping with DHgate. I placed an order for a mens jacket on july 1st and I have not recieved anything yet, I sent a query to your customer service and they said they are sending a new shipment as previous one cannot be tracked. I have not recieved anything again. Please check and refund me the money if you cannot ship.
I ordered some Nike shoes from this website. They took my money, charged my credit card. Then i received an email telling me that my order will not be processed until I send them a photo copy of the front and back of my credit card! I replied and told them I would not do that. They replied with "you can trust us". I have never, ever, ever, been asked to give photos of my credit card! When I told them I refuse and to please refund my card, they did and in their comments they said "Customer demanded a full refund". Avoid this company!
You get what you pay for for. The quality of my man items has been as expected, the really cheap ones I was test buying to assertain the quality simple as that but 9 out of 10 have been genuinely impressive. Don't buy anything from them. Bought a $375 item. After 2 months never got the Item, never got an answer. They charged my credit card, and never resolve the problem.

Using the App is the easiest way to go- simple ordering, great prices and high quality. It does come from China so it takes a bit longer than Amazon, etc... but the prices are half or even less than half.

All of the items looks great on Picture ONLY! The quality of the item(s) are poor or unacceptable, and return the item to the seller ( they are located in China) would cost a lot of money (for example, an item less than 10 oz would cost US$ 20 to $30 to ship via international post), go figure!
The online chat is irresponsible, they kept telling you that no worry, but they cannot take any actions, contact customer service would usually take more than 2 weeks and no help at all!
