I mistakenly entered a roundtrip ticket purchase in the destination and departure cities' reverse order (the cities have similar code abbreviations).
I called Kiwi immediately. They instructed me to rebook the flight with the correct itinerary; and their representative stated they would reimburse my credit card for the mistake.
That was a lie.
When Kiwi made no refund in the time period they stated they would, I called again. I was then told it was "not their policy" to make such refunds.
My bank entered a dispute with Kiwi on my behalf. Kiwi again refused to make the reimbursement. My bank gave me notice that the dispute was therefore closed.
Kiwi now insists, 4 months later, that they cannot act on my request for reimbursement because the dispute filed by the bank is still open — that's another lie. I then provided Kiwi documentation from my bank attesting to Kiwi's refusal to make the reimbursement.
Kiwi invited me to call them again. The heavily accented English of their representative caused me to repeat what I heard him saying, "What is the issue?"
He then hung up on me.
Kiwi is a disgraceful operation.
UPDATE: After alerting Kiwi to my complaint filed on sites like this, they called me to effect a reimbursement... but their instructions for doing so were that *I* was to authorize payment to *them* in the amount that I had lost -- and, specifically, for me to authorize a payment be sent to a "manager" in Kenya -- in order for me to be eligible thereby for their reimbursement to me. Unbelievable.
I then called Kiwi directly to tell them that their twitter account — through whom I'd received the above solicitation to send them money — appears to be running a scam. Their representative initially said that they do not have a twitter account. But then they said they could see my communication with that twitter account, and that, yes, they can't reimburse my card... but if I send money to that twitter representative in Kenya, then they will send me a reimbursement.
This is absolutely nuts.

Horrendous experience. Sorry it's long but here it goes….
Pls do yourself a favour, and book directly through the airline. In no way what so ever is this company's intention to save you money as they claim they do. I made bookings for about 6 adults on kiwi.com platform and 2 others on the airlines site with significantly different pricing per adult. Keep in mind they included checked baggage that was $100 less (airlines site)
After further assessing the itinerary, they (kiwi) had charged me the same price as an adult for an infant who would be sitting on my lap. I called the airlines directly to ask about infant pricing and they confirmed it should only be 20% of the adult price! THIS IS TRULY AN UNETHICAL COMPANY WHO ARE PURELY MONEY GRABBERS. I don't mind paying more for something I find value in, but to be sneaky is something else.
* pls note I called customer service, no one provided a reasonable, clarified answer which was satisfactory. When I asked some simple questions, they took ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, GAVE ME SOME BS REASONS WHICH MADE 0 SENSE & WERE COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL.
* I was further disgusted even more when asked to speak to the supervisor, who wasn't any better than the agent
* when asked to speak to a higher authority than the supervisor, I was told I could not and it ends with her.
* when asked to speak to the owner or provide an email address to express my concerns, they hung up on me….
Disappointed is definitely an understatement….

I booked a round trip ticket from Kiwi.com for my colleague, unfortunately upon check in, he found out that his name was interchange and he couldn't fly. As it was urgent flight, I had to get another one way ticket with the hope that we could still use the returning ticket which will be in a week. I called kiwi.com for name correction right away. I spoke with 5 representative telling me that they are going to forward it to their relevant department and wait for 24-48 hours and they will send me the payment link of 10 euro as a fee for name correction. I've waited for more than 48 hours and haven't heard anything. I emailed them at least 10 times and still had no feedback.
I was calling them for three days and now they were telling me that my return ticket was suspended. So that does mean that if you missed your flight, you can no longer use your return ticket. That's BS!
And okay 3rd day I spoke with at least 10 representative, 8 out of 10 said that they have forwarded me to the relevant department for urgency and 2 said my ticket was suspended. Sounds confusing, isn't it. AFTER ALL THE BS I HAD WITH THEM, STILL MY PAID TICKET WAS USELESS! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

An awful experience. Kiwi failed to check their junk mail where the airline I was flying with had continuously tried to contact them for one month to tell them my flight was cancelled. Kiwi eventually responded to the airline a few days prior to my planned flight but still didn't tell me it was cancelled. Naturally, I arrived at the airport but there was no flight on the board. The airline itself had its offices closed for the day at the airport so there was nobody for me to speak to. Whatsmore I was in Lebanon where a revolution was taking place. As a young female suddenly stranded with nowhere to go I was terrified. When I logged into my Kiwi account they said I had to buy a new flight. Finally, when I found someone to help me book another flight they told me it would be 600$ a sum I didn't have. After calling around friends and family to send me the money I got on a new flight arriving 7 hours later than planned.
Kiwi did pay me back for the second flight but when I requested information about who profited from the 150$ for the original flight that got cancelled one month prior, they said they would be keeping the money! I then requested that the original (non-existent flight) be repaid and compensation for my ordeal be given which Kiwi denied continuously. Their customer staff were untrained in the knowledge of any flight passenger rights for delayed flights and stated the fact that the emails from the airline went into their junk was not their fault... well it was definitely not mine. I will NEVER use Kiwi again and want to warn all potential customers of the possibility of similar situations happening to you! Always book directly never with these agencies!

Booked a connecting flight through Florida from Colombia to London. The first flight time changed which we had to notify them of because they didn't even have the courtesy to let us know, but they said that we still had enough time to go through US customs and catch the connecting flight and there was the kiwi guarantee if we missed it. Long story short we didn't make it through customs in time to catch our connecting flight. They then claimed that we did have enough time (two hours seems a lot unless you've ever been in the US customs queue and they have a systems failure) and refused to follow through on their guarantee. Hours spent on the phone to them resulted in nothing. The poor customer service agent sympathised and said he wished he could do something and spent an hour trying to persuade his superior to put us on another flight but to no avail. At this point the airport was closed and we had to spend the night on the airport floor with no food because everything was closed.
The next day we had to find another flight which involved going to a different airport in Florida and spending another day waiting on the airport floor.
I eventually got home three days later than intended and found that I had arrived too late to say goodbye to a family member who had died the day before. I will never forgive kiwi for taking that away from me. I used to use them quite a lot but I will never use them again and have told everyone I know not to use them. All they care about is money and they will say anything, even if it is lies, to get your money.
I applied for a refund of the taxes on my missed flight and they said it would take up to a month. Three months later I was still chasing them up about it despite filling out all the correct paperwork and submitting it immediately. I eventually got the tax refund but no apology. It took two weeks to clear in my account despite them taking the money from me immediately.
I made a formal complaint about the whole situation which got brushed aside as "it wasn't our fault", tried to take it further and was prevented by a rude complaint service person. Never use this company. Pay extra for a decent service as you'll end up paying more with kiwi anyway.

SELLING SEPERATE TICKETS AS ONE BOOKING
Would never use Kiwi.com again ~ turned a trip that my partner takes regularly in to an expensive nightmare. Purchased a ticket from Stanstead to Sharm el Sheikh which requires a change at Turkey. Instead of booking a transit ticket all the way through as every other company does, they book each ticket separately which means you need to collect and recheck your bags. This in itself although a bit of a pain when you are under time constraints to make your connecting flight could maybe be accepted for the cheaper ticket. What in NOT acceptable is that after collecting your bag you need to purchase a $30 visa to allow you back in to check your bag in for your connecting flight (side note ~ if you are not carrying dollars or euros you need to withdraw them from the cash machine which has a minimum withdrawal amount of $60 at an exorbitant exchange rate) Just when he thought it couldn't get any worse his duty free although in a sealed duty free bag was taken off of him as he had to go outside the airport to recheck bags.
Would have been so much cheaper after all of this to book direct with the airline and so much easier. Kiwi customer services were extremely unhelpful and rude.

My wife and I booked a flight to London in February of 2020 -- Flight was scheduled for Mid-September. Obviously the pandemic hit and we crossed our fingers and hoped we would still be able to go; but as time rolled by we were not optimistic. September came around; and our flight was officially cancelled.
We had reached out to Kiwi a couple times in the interim to keep full understanding of their refund process -- and a cancelled flight should 100% no questions asked be a full refund. The airline (BA) would unquestionably refund the ticket cost.
We waited from September to December with naught but robo-emails and form letters asking us to be patient. We are reasonable people; we understand that the pandemic has stretched a lot of customer service departments thin and we were not hurting the for the cash.
When January rolled around and we had still not heard anything; We sent a firm (but fair/reasonable) email requesting an update. We received the same form email again.
In February of 2021 we reached out to the DOT looking for help. They said we'd hear from the airline and Kiwi within a week; and we did! BA reached out with a message that said in essence "We don't really have anything to do with this booking, sorry can't help" and Kiwi responded with a slightly different version of their form email.
It's been crickets since then until last week when they updated us that "they had done their best" but there was no refund available. None. Nothing.
To me this tells me that Kiwi either:
A. Never bought the tickets in the first place; in which case they are a scam or;
B. BA refunded the tickets to Kiwi and Kiwi used the funds elsewhere; in which case they're a ponzi scheme.
My lesson here has been that even if buying direct from an airline costs more; it is 100% always the way to go.
Do not give these people your hard earned money -- they are thieves.

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND the KIWI company!
I would like to share my experience of cooperation with the Kiwi company through which air tickets are purchased.
To begin with, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND the KIWI company if you want to save your nerves, time and money!
Next, I will describe the situation that happened to my family.
We bought tickets 2 weeks before departure from Krakow to Bogota (with a transfer in Amsterdam) and from Bogota to Tijuana. On the day of departure (less than 24 hours in advance) I receive a notification that the Kiwi company simply canceled our tickets for the flight from Krakow to Bogota, WITHOUT any reason. And they are not interested that we need to fly, since we had tickets purchased further from Bogota to Tijuana and which we could not reschedule.
The next day the money was returned to us, but NOT the full amount (without $ 40).
Due to the current situation, we urgently buy new expensive tickets with departure half a day earlier and with three transfers, but in order to arrive in Amsterdam on time. And then we were waiting for another surprise from the Kiwi company, at the check-in desk we are informed that tickets from Krakow to Germany for tomorrow, despite the fact that tickets from Germany to Italy and from Italy to Amsterdam for today.
Just a complete misunderstanding, incompetence and indifference of the Kiwi company to customers.
I ATTACHED A PHOTO WITH CONFIRMATIONS TO THIS REVIEW SO THAT IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE FICTION TO YOU.

This Kiwi.com is a joke. Stay away from it if you don't want to waist time. Below is my experience:
I and my wife booked two round-trip tickets from LAX to Paris from kiwi.com on May 9th. No seat selection steps were given during the entire booking process. On June 26th, I went to kiwi.com website trying to get the seats secured. Under the "managing my booking" section, the seat selection feature was disabled. A message popped out advising passengers to go to the airline counter at the airport for seating.
Afraid of not having an aisle seat at the departure, I decided to give kiwi.com a call for the seats. The holding time of the call was 45 minutes before I could speak to an agent. After hearing my experience with the website, the agent told me that he would pass my seat request to their "relevant team". He promised me that within 48 hours I should receive an email with a seat selection and payment link in it. By clicking that link, I can finish my seat selection and pay for it.
Today, after 6 days of waiting without receiving any emails from kiwi.com, I called them again. This time the waiting time was nearly 1 hour. During the waiting time, I tried their website again. Surprisingly, the website allowed me to selects seats today, but the subsequent payment process could never go through (yes, seats cost money these days). The lady who finally picked up my call was answering from Fiji with strong accent. After hearing all my complaints, she gave me the exactly same solution as 6 days ago by the first agent, that is to wait for another 48 hours for an email... blah blah. When I asked what if still nothing shows up in my email in next 48 hours, her answer was: "call us again!"
I'll keep this drama updated here to see how bad this will go, stay tuned...

Just like in many stories here, this company sells separated tickets, so in case you will need a transfer or getting late for your connecting flight because of the delay, you are out there on your own! I have purchased a ticket Reykjavik-Asgabat via Budapest and Istanbul for September 2. One leg of the trip was cancelled by the Airline and kiwi.com suggested to change my whole ticket online, which I tried, but unsuccessfully. After contacting them again they recommended that I would buy a new ticket and the old one will be refunded, which I did. The refund that I got was half and the other half (400 EUR) never arrived as Turkish Airlines are not obliged to issue me a full refund because of that (again they have cancelled only one leg, not three separated tickets) and kiwi.com guarantee will not work this time as in many cases here. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, LURE YOU INTO THEIR FAIRYTALE OF THE CHEAPER, BUT NOT CONNECTED TICKETS AND WHEN YOU WILL HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY WILL SIMPLY TELL YOU: IT´S NOT OUR PROBLEM!

After successfully booking an international flight (almost a month before the flight was scheduled), kiwi.com told me that I can only check in for the flight in-person on the day of departure. Long story made short, that was not the case. In reality, we were supposed to check in online a few days before the flight, but I was not made aware that was even an option. In fact, kiwi.com explicitly made it known that checking in at the airport was the only option. Because of that, our flight was completely booked up, and to make matter worse, our return flight was completely booked up also. THIS MEANT THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR A NIGHT AT OUR RESORT THAT WAS NON-REFUNDABLE (for the day of our original arrival date), AND I HAD TO PAY FOR AN EXTRA NIGHT AT A SEPARATE RESORT (for the day we had to extend our stay since we could only catch a return flight a day after our original return date). To make matters even worse, kiwi.com told me that they cannot give me a refund. By the way, kiwi.com has a so-called refund guarantee for anything "related to airline cancellations, delays, and schedule changes". Unless you want this happening to you, or any other similar situations, DO NOT USE KIWI.COM.
