I purchased an item that was not at all what was pictured on their site. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay the shipping which I was not willing to do. Since then, I have tried in vain to navigate their ridiculous website to try and talk to someone...anyone! The website loops you into endless circles of frustration while sending automated messages to hidden mailboxes. It has been a truly awful experience. In the end, I ended up getting ripped off and needless to say will avoid all things DHGate like a coughing child with COVID. I recommend you do the same. Or you can find out the hard way.

I made an order with DHGates and their third party distributor who said that they sent the items. Nothing pasted thru US Customs and they didnot have my address on the fake itinerary. They produced a phony tracking number that never made it to United States Customs Distribution Center. US Customs tracks all items large and small coming into the United States border. Be careful some China vendors are bastards and thieves.

Buy be aware of the fake tracking numbers that never work, and the fact the purchase never made it to US Customs who authorizes that the shipment is valid for distrubution the items to a courier. I purchased three dresses from Dhgate for a family member that's oversees and when they arrived, the quality was terrible and nothing like it was shown online. The fabric of the dresses were extremely cheap and very poorly made. One of the dresses was a wedding dress, and it is not like the pictured showed. It is also hard to communicate with the sellers and they all declined my request to refund me. The dresses come from China and it is hard to have to return all these dresses to them.
One of the seller's name was "wangcai01" and they had the worst quality, and I paid $75 for the dress. Their dispute process is not user friendly.
I don't recommend you buy dresses from them, it is very risky. Buyer beware!

I bought a watch from DHGate and waited weeks for it to arrive. Not only was it a different colour to the one that I ordered, it turned out to also be a fake! When you are spending over a hundred pounds on something, you expect to get what you ordered. I contacted the seller, many, many times and he eventually offered me a $10 refund. This obviously offended me. I and I instantly refused, saying that I wanted the watch that I had originally ordered, sending out to me, as I had already paid for it weeks before. I then got an offer of a $20 refund. Am I wrong in thinking that when you order something and pay for it, you expect to get what you paid for? I escalated this to DHGate's completely pointless resolution service (they always side with the seller, as they themselves lose money if they give refunds). I was told that they were sorry that I had had a bad experience but would only give me less than half of my money back? An admission of guilt but still no full refund. I do not trust these people at all, as they clearly make a living out of cheating honest people out of their hard earned cash. They knowingly allow conmen to sell counterfeit goods, passed off as genuine products, and don't even bother to apprehend them in anyway, when they are found out. I have since refused the partial refund (obviously) and have now been told that I have to pay to ship the fake goods back to the lying, cheating seller, and then wait 50 days for a full refund. They must be mental if they think that I am going to spend yet more money and wait nearly two more months before I get a penny back. I do not believe that even then I will see any of my money again. They must be making millions of pounds a year, cheating consumers by selling fake goods to them. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS! BE WARNED!

Is there anything I can do about how I have been treated by DHGate?
I ordered a watch from seller hk2008watch, but was sent a cheap fake crap copy. I instantly contacted the seller. He told me that it was what I had ordered. I immediately sent him photos and web links to the watch that I had actually ordered. Also I sent him pictures of the rubbish that he had sent me instead. Of course this was a complete waste of my time. I then had to wait a couple of weeks, before I could escalate it to DHGate's pointless mediation process. I then of course, wasted my time for the next few weeks sending the same proof to customer support (seller support, more like) Yes the customer most definitely comes last, where DHGate are concerned. I have since found out that they receive 20% of the price paid by us poor unsuspecting buyers. This is why today, I have been informed that my dispute has been resolved.? I don't think so. They are fobbing me off with an $80 refund. That is over 75% less than the $360 that I paid the con artist hk2008watch. This obviously means that DHGate gets 20% of the $280 that I have been duped out of. They will always side with the scammers, because they make more money. I will never, ever purchase anything ever again from this Chinese rip off website and will make sure that everyone knows about how I have been treated via social media and forums. If you want to buy quality goods at a reasonable price, and be treated like a customer should be. Then DHGate is most definitely not the place for you. However if you want to be lied to, cheated out of your hard earned money and waste your time jumping through hoops, sending hundreds of emails, to still be ripped off. Then DHGate is the perfect place to buy. People don't get cheated STAY AWAY FROM DHGATE!

Highly recommend that you use other options for products than DHGate - Tried them for a 4 figure piece of equipment that arrived damaged and part of it doesn't work. Seller was uncooperative and DHGate didn't do anything to assist in resolving the situation. Very different than what would happen with Amazon and several other companies of this type. We didn't get any messages or notices until we logged into the account and find out that they had closed the case. So we're out $XXXX and have a piece of junk.
Also note - their prices are higher than many other sites like one that begins with A and another one that begins with e.
Hope no one else has to deal with this and take your hard earned money to someplace that treats you right and delivers what you are supposed to get in working order! Truly the WORST shopping experience I've had in years.

What a farce, scamming, company. I've had to write on behalf of my son because as a naive 13 year old, he didn't check real reviews. Any of you out there who zone in to the 5 star reviews, check how many other reviews the #customers have left. You'll find it's generally 1-2! Hmmmm, worth taking seriously eh? I bought an product there that was so different from the basic description itself. I tried to open a ticket to return and get a refund and the site basically refused, saying it needs to be marked received and 10 days have to pass before I can initiate a complaint. I ALREADY MARKED IT RECEIVED! I reported the transaction to my cc company so they're investigating. I sent them the pictures and the product description as proof. Do not buy from DH Gate they are all criminals. I know because I placed over 60 orders and 90% of the time the item arrives fake counterfeit junk. Then when I do receive a real item, 9% of the time there are no tags, which all new items have. Of the 1% left, half that have some flaw, such as broken, ripped, soiled, etc. Wait, it gets worse! When I take pictures and send to the crooks, its not like they disagree, they actually agree the items are fake, then they turn around and refund 25% of what I paid? I paid $40 for 2 dozen items and when I received fake ones, they refunded $10, then $14 then $18, etc. So I have items worth NOTHING, cant use them, and I lost more than half my money! I have had to contact the FBI, my bank, etc and its been a long, time consuming, roller coaster nightmare. Here is also what they ALWAYS do. They NEVER take returns. No matter what the reason is, they do NOT accept returns. The morons think if they send you a fake item and you say forget it ill return it, I cant use a fake item, its not worth a dollar, let alone the $40 I spent, they think by giving you $10 then they are covered by law. They should all be thrown in jail, because they are all lowlife crooks! They don't even hide the fact that they are crooks! When you place multiple orders, they will ship them all out of order and incomplete. I.E. I placed orders in February that STILL have not arrived and we are in May, yet an order placed in April already arrived. The morons have no idea what they are doing. They don't even give you an answer for shipping this way. The customer service is non existent to useless. Meaning, you can almost NEVER geta life person on the live chat. They offer no phone support, no email support, no live chat, just this message system, that if your lucky enough to get a live person to respond, usually doesn't speak English or doesn't know how to assist you. They are the absolute worst company you will ever buy from, and I hope you never do. In this case, since the order is already beyond the guaranteed delivery date, you have the option to open a dispute and request for a refund.
Here's how to open a dispute on PC:
1) Home Page “Click on My DHgate”.
2) My DHgate “Click on My Orders”.
3) My Orders “Click on Awaiting confirm”. You can also use the search box by putting in the order number.
4) Awaiting Confirm “Click on Open a Dispute”.
5) Dispute Page (This is where you can choose your proposal to the seller) Click on Continue.
Here's how to open a dispute on APP:
"1. Go to the ‘My Orders” page, click on ‘Awaiting Confirm or Awaiting review or shipped’ and click on the order you want a dispute to be opened
2. This opens the details of the order. Scroll down to the bottom part of the page.
3. Click on ‘Open Dispute’
4. You can choose from the three options:
A. Get a Refund (No Return)
B. Get a Refund (Return Item)
C. Get a Replacement"
Once the dispute is opened, your seller is given 5 days to respond and sort things out with you. If the seller declines your proposal within 5 days, you can request mediation on the 6th day. If the seller fails to respond to your dispute proposal within 5 days, the system will process your original dispute proposal automatically on the 6th day from the time that the dispute is filed.

I received a damaged bag, when opened a dispute the seller proposed me to send it back and I would get a a full refund including the the cost of re-shipping. He gave me a fake address and the bag was resent to me, I got a refund on the bag but not return shipping. The seller stopped answering my messages and couldn't get help through Dhgate customer service. I was nor even able to leave a review to warn future customers. Very disappointing

I paid 72.16 dollars for a flower girl with navy blue flowers as was on the photo. I got Royal blue and of course the wrong size.
